The transmitter pod is positionable against the foot-facing upper surface to wirelessly provide energy to the receiver pod through the insole bulk. The mat receives energy and wirelessly transmits energy to the receiver pod. The mat is positionable adjacent the ground-facing lower surface to wirelessly provide energy to the receiver pod through the first insole bulk. The system is configured to allow only one of the transmitter pod and the mat to provide energy to the receiver pod at a given time.

Abstract: A shoe with an integrated electronic touchscreen display is provided. The shoe includes a flexible electronic display material having an embedded touch screen, which is operably connected to a rechargeable battery. In one embodiment, the rechargeable battery is secured within a heel of the shoe. In another embodiment, the rechargeable battery is disposed on a detachable outsole having the ability to generate power via static electricity generated by walking to recharge the rechargeable battery. The embedded touch screen may alter the colors or other qualities of the flexible electronic display. In this way, the wearer can customize the outward appearance of their shoes. Some embodiments include a ventilation system for cooling.

Abstract: An athletic footwear artificial ligament device includes a flexible band securable around a lower leg above an ankle of a foot of a wearer, a ring disposable adjacent an outer side of the ankle spaced below the flexible band, and a plurality of artificial ligaments coupled to and arrayed about the ring. An upper artificial ligament is attached to the flexible band and extends downward to the ring. A lower artificial ligament is attachable to an upper of the athletic shoe, adjacent to the sole and above the heel, and extends upward to the ring. A forward artificial ligament is attachable to the athletic shoe upper forwardly of the ring, above the sole and spaced forwardly from the heel, and extends rearward to the ring such that the artificial ligaments perform as a second set of ligaments providing sprain protection of the ankle of the foot of the wearer.

Abstract: A method of manufacturing the foamed shoe material and semi-finished product including the following steps. Step S1: a foamable material is injected into a cavity of a blank mold to solidify, thereby generating a semi-finished product of the shoe material and a runner waste that are unfoamed. The runner waste could be shed for reusing directly as the foamable material without a granulating process. Step S2: the semi-finished product is cooled down and put into a cavity of the foaming mold, and the semi-finished product is evenly foamed in the cavity of the foaming mold to obtain a shoe material wherein the waste generated during the method of manufacturing the foamed shoe material could be effectively reused, and the yield rate of the shoe material thereby enhanced.
