Abstract: Systems, methods, devices, server computers, storage media, and instructions for prioritized device action triggered by device scan data are described. In one embodiment, a mobile device performs a method that involves executing a messaging application with an image capture interface and a scanning input. An associated scanning mode comprises capture of scan data from a plurality of input/output modules of the first client device, analyzes the scan data to identify one or more scan data patterns by matching at least a portion of the scan data against a set of data patterns, and selects a priority system action based on the results of the matching of the portion of the scan data against the set of data patterns. In some embodiments, the priority system action is selected based on a priority ranking for identified scan data types.

Abstract: Examples described herein relate to facilitating media item access via a media item database. For instance, a playlist may include audio tracks of a first streaming service (e.g., as uniform resource identifiers linking to streamable audio tracks). When a subscription to the first streaming service is not active, the playlist may be unplayable by a media playback system including a playback device. To play the playlist, a computing system may convert the playlist to audio tracks of a second streaming service and then send the converted playlist back to the media playback system for playback.

Abstract: This disclosure relates generally to data processing devices and, more particularly, to a method, a device, and/or a system of structuring audio session data with independently queryable segments for efficient determination of high value content and/or generation of recombinant content. In one embodiment, a system for analyzing use of audio files to determine high value content includes a database server storing a data container referencing a segment data comprising an audio data and a segment UID that is independently addressable with a database query. A playback manager receives a playback request and streams the audio data to a device of a user. An interest marker engine receives an interest notification including a first audio time point and a second audio time point and generates an interest marker. An analytics server then generates an insight data from the interest marker and stores the insight data in association with the segment data.

Abstract: A method for online authentication includes receiving membership authenticating information specific to members of a particular affiliation from the members and from one or more remote databases. The information is aggregated and stored in an aggregate database. An individual is authenticated, via a widget at least one of integrated into, and accessible by, at least one of a mobile application and a website of a provider of at least one of a particular program and a particular service, as a member of the particular affiliation based on a comparison of authenticating indicia provided online by the individual and the information stored in at least one of the aggregate database and the remote databases. Digital credentials are provided to the individual for access to the at least one of the particular program and the particular service when the individual is authenticated. The credentials include a unique identifier, a login and password.

Abstract: A machine detects a request to execute a transaction specified by a first set of user inputs. The machine determines, based on the first set of user inputs that specified the transaction, that the request to execute the transaction is to be verified with a corresponding challenge prompt that is to be generated for the request to execute the transaction. The machine then generates the challenge prompt that corresponds to the request to execute the transaction specified by the first set of user inputs that specified the transaction, and the machine causes presentation of the generated challenge prompt that corresponds to the request to execute the transaction. In response to the presented challenge prompt, the machine may receive a second set of user inputs. Based on the second set of user inputs, the machine then generates an indication of whether the request is verified.

Abstract: A system translates a first biometric template of a first type to enable comparison with a second biometric template of a second type. In one example, a canonical template structure to which the first and second biometric templates adhere may be identified and used to compare corresponding portions of the first and second biometric templates. In another example, types and associated formats of the first and second biometric templates may be identified to enable both to be translated to a general format that can then be compared. In still other examples, an identification system may use the first biometric template to determine an identity associated with first biometric data to either retrieve second stored biometric data associated with the identity of a same type as the second biometric template or verify that an account in an external system having a record storing the second biometric template is associated with the identity.

An identification key is built based on the hidden unique identifiers assigned for each said color selected by the user and the sequence in which the colors were selected by the user. Each color displayed has an assigned unique identifier that is not visible to the user seeking access but is used by a first software programing operating on the uses device to assemble the identification key required to gain account access.

An authorization policy is established on the IHS that is modifiable only by an arbiter of a remote orchestration service. The authorization policy specifies authorized administrators of the workspace. The authorization policy is modified to specify the arbiter and a first remote orchestrator as authorized administrators of the workspace. Administration of the workspace by the first orchestrator is allowed based on credentials that validate it as an authorized administrator specified by the policy. A notification is received of a transfer of orchestration of the workspace to a second remote orchestrator. The authorization policy is modified to specify the arbiter and the second orchestrator as authorized administrators of the workspace.

Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for a secondary authentication of a memory module. A nonce key is written to a nonce register of a register array on the memory module, the nonce register being accessible over two different interfaces. In various embodiments, the nonce key may be generated by a management system of the computing platform after performing one or more authentication processes for a memory module over a management interface. Authentication information for use in performing authentication can be stored in an identification component on the memory module. If authentication is successful, the management system can generate the nonce key and write it to the nonce register. Upon receiving a request to access an address, a memory controller can read the nonce register of the memory module at the requested address and compare the nonce key to an identifier included in the request.
