Abstract: The floating swimsuit device is a unisex swimsuit with an inbuilt floatation device. It is an objective of the device to make swimmers more comfortable and feel safer in the water. To accomplish this, the device includes removable floatation panels that may be positioned within pockets on the swimsuit. The floatation panels may be removed or kept in pockets of the swimsuit depending on the weight, buoyancy requirements, and comfort level of the user. The floatation panels may be positioned along both a front surface and a rear surface of the swimsuit, thereby providing sufficient buoyancy. Further, a plurality of fasteners enables the floatation panels to be secured well within the pockets, as well as enables the user to wear the swimsuit with ease and comfort. Furthermore, the floatation panels may be of different levels of thickness, which make the device suitable for people of different preferences and dimensions.

Abstract: An adjustable neck gaiter, or sleeve worn around the neck, is adjustable in length to extend to cover the user's neck and may be adjusted to fit a variety of users. Fasteners, such as corresponding magnetic and metallic elements are positioned inside the fabric such that they can slide against each other maintaining a magnetic attraction to allow for adjustment of the length of the gaiter and corresponding diameter, allowing the adjustable neck gaiter to fit around wearers' different neck sizes, as well as allowing for varied tightness of the gaiter around a single wearer's neck.

Abstract: A device for extending around and securing a portion of a shirt in a lifted position is disclosed. The device can include a sleeve having a length along a longitudinal axis. The sleeve can define a slot that extends along an entirety of the length of the sleeve along the longitudinal axis. The sleeve can have opposed longitudinally extending edges on opposed sides of the slot. The sleeve can be resiliently elastically compressible about and between an open configuration and a closed configuration. In the open configuration, the opposed longitudinally extending edges can be spaced along a transverse axis that is perpendicular to the longitudinal axis. In the closed configuration, the opposed longitudinally extending edges can be drawn inwardly toward or past each other along the transverse axis. A fastener that can be configured to secure the sleeve in the closed configuration.

Abstract: A tool allows a user to create new designs for apparel and preview these designs in three dimensions before manufacture. Software and lasers are used in finishing apparel to produce a desired wear pattern or other design. Based on a laser input file with a pattern, a laser will burn the pattern onto apparel. With the tool, the user will be able to create, make changes, and view images of a design, in real time, before burning by a laser. Input to the tool includes fabric template images, laser input files, and damage input. The tool allows adding of tinting and adjusting of intensity and bright point. The user can also move, rotate, scale, and warp the image input.

Abstract: A body suit resembles at least a partial human body form for use in design, customization, alteration, testing and modeling of garments. The suit includes a plurality of fluid-expandable layers, including an outer skin layer divided into an outer plurality of selectively expandable in varying degrees or quantities to create a variable exterior skin contour. One or more additional fluid-expandable layers underlie the outer skin layer to establish a variable internal tissue depth further contributing to an overall outer body contour of the body suit. An exterior of the body suit is colored or colorable in blue or green to enable chroma key isolation of garment adorned over the suit. Sensors are arrayed over the exterior surface area of the suit for dimensional and pressure measurements, and rotational support structures and cooperating 3D scanners and track-based scanner movement enable 3D imaging of the modeled garment.

Abstract: Systems and methods for selectively attaching an accessory mount to a helmet are disclosed. A carrier may be used to position the accessory mount on the helmet. The accessory mount may be positioned on the helmet without engaging the rim of the helmet. The carrier may be compatible with various accessory mounts to permit mounting of different accessories. The accessory mount may be a powered mount for attachment to a Night Vision Device (NVD) such as Enhanced Night Vision Goggles (ENVG), or the accessory mount may be a non-powered accessory mount.

Abstract: A protective helmet having a protective shell, a low friction layer, and a comfort liner is disclosed. The protective shell includes an energy absorbing material and an inner surface. The low friction layer is coupled to the inner surface of the protective shell. The low friction layer may be plastic having a thickness of less than approximately 3 mm. The comfort liner is removably coupled to the low friction layer opposite the protective shell, and includes a low friction material, such as brushed nylon, adjacent the low friction liner. The comfort liner may be removably coupled protective shell with either clips that removably couple to receivers embedded in the brow of the helmet, with elastically deformable couplings that extend from the comfort liner to the protective shell, or both.
