  • Patent number: 11789954
Abstract: A request may be received from a user through a user interface an issued independent claim of a patent may be automatically compared to a pre-allowance published independent claim of an application of the patent to identify a unique keyword present in the issued independent claim but not present in the pre-allowance published independent claim. The unique keyword may be flagged to the user by highlighting the unique keyword in the user interface. A first prior art document may be retrieved using the flagged unique keyword. A unique keyword overlap score may be calculated for the first prior art document based on occurrences of the unique keyword in the first prior art document. A graphical representation of an identity of the first prior art document, the unique keyword, and the unique keyword overlap score may be generated for display in the user interface. The graphical representation may be displayed along with a graphical timeline based on a priority date of the first prior art document.

  • Patent number: 11789958
Abstract: Techniques for reducing CPU consumption in a federated search are disclosed. In some example embodiments, a computer-implemented method comprises determining an initial search scope by selecting a subset of searchable resources from a plurality of searchable resources based on interaction data of a user, with the initial search scope being defined by the selected subset of searchable resources, and the interaction data indicating online activity of the user directed towards past search results of past search queries submitted by the user. A federated search for a current search query is then performed using the initial search scope, with the federated search for the current search query being restricted to only the subset of searchable resources, and current search results for the current search query are generated based on the performing of the federated search.

  • Patent number: 11789967
Abstract: A system is provided for resolving data errors. The system is configured to receive a data element from a source application and process the data element using an Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) logic. Upon detecting that the processing of the data element has failed as a result of an error in the data element, the system generates a plurality of probable data values for the data element. For each probable data value of the plurality of probable data values, the system verifies whether the probable data value can be processed successfully by the ETL logic and by one or more target applications configured to process the data element. The system determines one of the probable data values as a suggested data value of the data element, based on the verification of the probable data values and processes the suggested data value using the ETL logic.

  • Patent number: 11789978
Abstract: In accordance with an embodiment, systems and methods can provide for load, aggregate, and batch calculation in in a multidimensional database environment. Metadata can be used to identify in which higher dimensions each leaf-level load is used. At such time, the data from the leaf level is aggregated to each of the higher dimensions where it is to be used. Then, the aggregate values are stored in memory until a completed sum (or other calculation) is completed at the higher levels. At such time, the aggregate values can be discarded from memory. The ability of the system to perform a load, aggregate, and batch calculation in one scan is particularly useful in processing very large sets of data, for example in big data environments, where it may not be desirable to load the data for all of the leaf nodes into current memory.

  • Patent number: 11789996
Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure provide systems, methods, and computer storage media for implementing a nuanced-color search and recommendation system. Employing various techniques described herein, an improved search engine for categorizable items is provided to generate accurate color-based search results and recommendations that are relevant to a nuanced color provided as a search parameter. In various implementations, digital assets that depict categorizable items can be analyzed to characterize the depicted items with, among other things, a particular shade of a determined dominant color. In this way, categorizable items can be searched based at least in part on a selected shade of a particular dominant color to generate a primary search result. In further embodiments, other categorizable items can be generated as recommendations based on characteristics of the primary search result.

  • Patent number: 11789998
Abstract: A search is performed based on a voice input combined with user selection of entities displayed on a display screen as well as real-world entities. A voice input is received from the user by a media device, as well as a selection of a first entity being displayed on the media device. A conjunction spoken in the voice input triggers the media device to wait for selection of a second entity before performing the search. After receiving selection of the second entity, a search query is constructed based on the voice input, the first entity, and the second entity. The search query is transmitted to a database and, in response, the media device receives at least one identifier of a least one content item. The at least one identifier is then generated for display to the user.

Abstract: In an approach to improve video searching embodiments execute heuristic video searching based on importance of semantic features. Embodiments perform hierarchical aggregation of a parsed video into one or more clusters of video excerpts based on a plurality of video features, and display a word cloud to a user to guide feedback. Embodiments traverse the one or more clusters based on a data structure of the hierarchical aggregation and the feedback. Additionally, responsive to reaching selected leaf nodes of the data structure, embodiments generate one or more snapshots of the video excerpts associated with the leaf nodes, wherein the leaf nodes are selected based on the feedback. Further, embodiments display the one or more generated snapshots of the video excerpts to the user.

  • Patent number: 11790004
Abstract: Methods, apparatus, systems, and computer-readable media are provided for transferring dialog sessions between devices using deep links. The dialog sessions can correspond to interactions, mediated by an automated assistant, between a user and a third party application. During the dialog session, a user can request that the dialog session be transferred to a different device, for example, to interact with the third party application through a different modality. In response, the automated assistant and/or the third party application can generate a link that can be transferred to the transferee device to allow the transferee device to seamlessly take over the dialog session. In this way, computational resources and electrical power can be preserved by not requiring a recipient device to re-process natural language inputs previously provided during the dialog session.
