Patent number: 11860923Abstract: The technology relates to selecting and displaying images captured at different points in time. As an example, a user of a computing device may view a first street level image as viewed from a particular location and oriented in a particular direction. The user may select other time periods for which similar images are available. Upon selecting a particular time period, a second street level image may be displayed concurrently with the first street level image, wherein the second street level image was captured on or around the selected time period. If the user changes the perspective of the first image an automatic change in perspective of the second image may occur.Type: GrantFiled: September 29, 2021Date of Patent: January 2, 2024Assignee: Google LLCInventors: Su Chuin Leong, Daniel Caleb Gordon, Jonathan Siegel, Andrew Vytas Kisielius, Aaron Michael Donsbach

Patent number: 11860924Abstract: A system is provided for configuring legacy file-based workflows to remotely and dynamically access media essence. An example system includes a filename generator that dynamically generates a filename for corresponding media content in an essence store in response to a selection by a file-based workflow application running on a media production computing device. The system includes an identity file generator that generates a respective identity file for the selected content and that includes the generated filename. Furthermore, the system includes a content API that queries an essence access database using the generated identity file to obtain metadata that indicates access information for the media content. The content API then configures the file-based workflow application to access the media content from the essence store based on an accessed track number and byte length of the respective media content accessed in response to the query of the media essence access database.Type: GrantFiled: June 9, 2022Date of Patent: January 2, 2024Assignee: GRASS VALLEY LIMITEDInventor: James Westland Cain

Patent number: 11860927Abstract: Systems and methods for searching for a media asset are described. In some aspects, the system includes control circuitry that receives a first search query from a user. The control circuitry identifies media assets related to the first search query from a content database. The control circuitry receives a second search query following the first search query. The control circuitry determines whether a media asset from the media assets is related to the second search query. In response to determining that less than a threshold number of media assets from the media assets are related to the second search query, the control circuitry transmits an instruction requesting the user to repeat the second search query. The control circuitry receives a third search query related to the first search query. The control circuitry determines a media asset from the media assets that is related to the third search query.Type: GrantFiled: March 7, 2022Date of Patent: January 2, 2024Assignee: Rovi Guides, Inc.Inventors: Sashikumar Venkataraman, Ahmed Nizam Mohaideen Pathurudeen

Patent number: 11860950Abstract: The system is configured to create a generalized document automation framework that captures relevant data from documents based upon replicating historical human actions associated with a document. The system may use machine vision and natural language processing to match a new document to a document that was already human extracted in an existing corpus. This is accomplished by comparing both visual elements and textual elements. This match can be verified by statistical approaches by comparing the match metrics across multiple documents. After the match has been found and verified, the system then uses the historical extractions from the historical document and maps the extractions to similar regions in the new document based upon again both visual and text commonalities between documents. Data is then extracted from these regions of interest in the new document, sanity checked for data integrity against historical data, and then passed downstream for processing.Type: GrantFiled: March 30, 2021Date of Patent: January 2, 2024Assignee: SUREPREP, LLCInventors: David A. Patent number: 11860964Abstract: An industrial information identification and retrieval system includes: a crawler; a search engine; a result processor; and a web user interface “web UL” The crawler identifies devices and their associated Open Platform Communication Unified Architecture “OPC UA” servers within a network as identified OPC UA servers. The crawler browses the identified OPC UA servers and extracts and stores data items in a database as extracted data items. The search engine searches the extracted data items and provides search results to the result processor. The result processor determines a score for each search result. The web UI presents the search results according to the scores.Type: GrantFiled: July 8, 2020Date of Patent: January 2, 2024Assignee: ABB Schweiz AGInventors: Andreas Burger, Heiko Koziolek, Sten Gruener, Johannes Schmitt, Marcel Dix

Patent number: 11860965Abstract: A label printing module can be configured to perform at least two actions in response to a request to create a label for an item. The label printing module can create a print job that will produce a physical label for the item. In addition, the label printing module can cause a digital label to be created and stored in a digital label database, which can be accessible via the Internet. The digital label can include an identifier that is uniquely associated with the item to which the physical label corresponds. The digital label can be associated with an Internet address. The Internet address of the digital label can be included in a machine-readable object on the corresponding printed physical label. Someone who has the item corresponding to the printed physical label can view informational content within the corresponding digital label by using a reader to read the machine-readable object.Type: GrantFiled: February 13, 2023Date of Patent: January 2, 2024Assignee: BRADY WORLDWIDE, INC.Inventors: Wesley Columbia, Amandeep Singh Sangha, Andrew Bloechl, Zachary Van Dam, Nathan Bannow

Patent number: 11860966Abstract: Systems and methods for automatically associating content characteristics to a third-party content are provided. A uniform resource locator identifying a resource is received from a content provider. The content is rendered to produce an object tree. A first node of the object tree is determined, where the first node represents a content slot. A second node of the object tree proximate to the first node is identified. The second node has a content characteristic, which is extracted. The extracted content characteristic is associated with the first node and stored.Type: GrantFiled: November 25, 2019Date of Patent: January 2, 2024Assignee: GOOGLE LLCInventors: Guannan Zhang, Yiling Zhang
