Abstract: An asset management system includes an asset management network that connects various types of refrigeration appliances to an asset manager. At the device layer, IOT devices are connected to the refrigeration appliances and have edge compute capability, including a backup power management function, and a modem for network communication. IOT device ports directly integrate with sensors, switches, and/or serial data controllers of refrigeration appliances. Push notification alarms are initiated on the edge of the network by IOT devices. The network tags operating data by appliance serial, and the asset manager stores the data using serial numbers as primary keys. The asset manager streams data from numerous appliances and uses event driven processing to promptly respond to edge alarms. The operating data keyed by serial number is enriched with proprietary data organized by appliance type and is used to develop new predictive models by appliance type.

Abstract: A Representational State Transfer (REST)-Simple Message Transfer Protocol (SMTP) protocol gateway (RSPG) is disclosed that includes capabilities for accessing and processing REST Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) using SMTP. The RSPG receives a first email message, extracts information from the received first email message and constructs a REST API call based on the extracted information. The RSPG invokes the REST API call against a REST endpoint and receives a response generated from execution of the REST API call. The RSPG generates a second email message based on the response and causes the second email message to be communicated to an intended recipient of the response of the REST API call.

A virtual canvas is presented in an active area of an online meeting facility that renders participant-specific online virtual canvas interactions raised by a respective plurality of users' devices. Users can see and hear each other's interactions during an virtual canvas session. Annotations include drawings, content object edits, voice annotations, etc. that correspond to a displayed portion of a content object of a content management system (CMS). Based on the interactions and/or inferences made based on those interactions, the virtual canvas system generates commands to be executed by the content management system. Characteristics of interactions between users can be enriched by drawing information from the content management system and using such information in combination with the interactions themselves.

Abstract: A system, method, and computer-readable medium are disclosed for performing a data center connectivity management operation. The connectivity management operation includes: providing a data center asset with a data center asset client module, the data center asset client module including an endpoint extension; providing an endpoint with a data center asset client extension; establishing a connection between the data center asset client module and a connectivity management system, the connectivity management system comprising a connectivity management system aggregator; and, communicating between the endpoint and the connectivity management system via the data center asset client extension.

Abstract: A control plane server of a virtualized computing service determines that connectivity is to be established between a first portion and a second portion of a distributed application. The first portion runs at a first edge location of a provider network, and the second portion runs at a second edge location. The control plane server transmits metadata associated with the second edge location to a connectivity manager at the first edge location. The metadata is used to establish a secure network channel between the connectivity manager and the second edge location. A message from the first portion of the distributed application is sent to the second portion via the channel.

Abstract: The described technology provides a capability for web applications from different domains to interact within one application environment. For example, an enterprise web application executing on a client terminal is provided the capability to monitor a second web application from a third party vendor even when the second web application is independently executing within an iframe or the like within the enterprise web applications container or context. In some example embodiments, the communication is enabled by a composite cookie or key that incorporates portions of an enterprise web application cookie or key and also portions of a vendor web application cookie or key.

The method includes receiving, from a session management function (SMF), a late notification message indicating a change of a data network access identifier (DNAI), identifying whether an AF change is needed based on the late notification message, and transmitting, to the SMF, a response message including information for change to a target AF for a target DNAI based on a result of identifying that the AF change is needed.

The method includes: When an edge enabler client context fails to be relocated from a second edge enabler server to a first edge enabler server, a first apparatus sends first information to a first edge application server corresponding to the first edge enabler server, where the first information is used by the first edge application server to subscribe to edge enabler server capability exposure information from the first edge enabler server. In the foregoing technical solution, when an edge enabler client context fails to be transferred, the first apparatus may indicate a target edge application server to subscribe to edge enabler server capability exposure information from a target edge enabler server.

Abstract: The present invention provides a method of finding service endpoints that can be customized. The method includes the following steps: step 1: discover the “services” customized by the CSDE method, called the “services” CSDE; step 2: discover groups of running Pods belonging to the respective CSDE “services”; step 3: register the IP of the Pod to the corresponding CSDE “service” according to the requirement to use a specific network range. The method is deployed to the corresponding CSDE application for installation in a container virtualization environment.

Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure involve a CDN utilizing a Direct Server Return (DSR) request command to create a tunnel from one content server to another content server of the CDN. Through the DSR tunnel, a request for content may be served from a content server that is more advantageous for the CDN for any number of reasons, such as from a content server that is logically closer to the content server. In determining when a DSR tunnel is created to provide the content, the CDN may access a database storing various information concerning the CDN, such as the location of egress gateways of the CDN in relation to one or more content servers, connecting network location information, the capabilities of one or more content servers, and/or load information of available content servers.

Abstract: Provided herein are systems and processes for transmitting interactive content to an application and causing the interactive content to be rendered on a display of the application. In at least one embodiment, the system is configured to analyze mapping metadata based on deployment criteria and cause a content element to be rendered on a display when the mapping metadata satisfies the deployment criteria. A content element may be a permitted content element from a plurality of permissible content elements. The deployment criteria includes temporal criteria, mapping criteria, and/or other criteria described herein.

Abstract: The disclosed computer-implemented method includes identifying a target networking device communicatively connected to a cluster of networked server instances. The networked server instances are configured to consume network telemetry messages. The method further includes applying a shared lock to the target networking device, so that only a single networked server instance has access to network telemetry messages produced by the target networking device. The method also includes replicating the network telemetry messages produced by the locked target networking device to other server instances in the cluster, and then diverting requests for network telemetry messages from the locked target networking device to another server instance in the cluster of networked server instances. This allows the other server instance in the cluster to service the diverted telemetry data requests for the locked target networking device using the replicated network telemetry messages.

Embodiments allow the customization of data models for data types (e.g., such as documents or the like) through the addition of fields to data models for data types for particular tenants without modification to components of the system by allowing the definition of a data type and its associated fields for each tenant and externalizing the definition of those data types. This metamodel can thus enable the fields of a data type for a particular tenant to be independently modified or updated for that tenant and data type. The data type for an individual tenant at any given point in time can thus be defined by the set of fields (e.g., and field versions) associated with that data type as defined for that tenant in the metamodel at that point in time.

Next, when the computer receives information specifying activation of the link from an electronic device, the computer provides information specifying the customized second document to the electronic device for display on the electronic device.

Abstract: The technology disclosed herein enables management of a call on-hold based on a user's activity on their endpoint during the hold period. In a particular embodiment, a method includes determining that a call has been placed on hold by a system other than a first endpoint on the call. The first endpoint is operated by a user. The method further includes receiving on-hold information from the first endpoint. The on-hold information indicates an activity of the user on the first endpoint while waiting on hold. The method also includes managing the call while on-hold based on the activity.

Abstract: Systems and methods for processing calls to determine if the call is potentially fraudulent or unwanted. The system extracts a speech signal from an audio signal associated with a call. The system identifies audio characteristics based on analysis of the audio signal. The system generates textual transcript of the audio signal based on automatic speech recognition of the speech signal, which is used to assign text categories for the call based on an automated multi-label textual classification of the textual transcript. The system assigns audio categories for the call based on automated multi-label acoustic classification of the speech signal. The system generates an output label for the call based on a combined analysis of the text categories, the audio categories, and the audio characteristics. The language spoken during the call may be detected and used to generate the textual transcript and to assign the text categories and the audio categories.

Abstract: Methods and systems provide for real-time user screening of messages within a communication platform. In one embodiment, the system presents, to a first user, a notification of an incoming call from a second user and options for managing the call; receives, from the first client device, a selection of an option to screen the call; in response to the first user selecting to screen the call, presents, to the second user, a prompt for capturing a message; presents a message to the first user; while the message is being presented to the first user, presents, to the first user, a second set of options; and if the system determines that a selection has been made of an option to interrupt the message to accept the call: stops both capture of the message and playback of the message, and presents a digital call between the first and second users.

Abstract: Implementations set forth herein relate to generating a pre-call analysis for one or more users that are receiving and/or initializing a call with one or more other users, and/or prioritizing pre-call content according to whether security-related value was gleaned from provisioning certain pre-call content. One or more machine learning models can be employed for determining the pre-call content to be cached and/or presented prior to a user accepting a call from another user. Feedback provided before, during, and/or after the call can be used as a basis from which to prioritize certain content and/or sources of content when generating pre-call content for a subsequent call. Other information, such as contextual data (e.g., calendar entries, available peripheral devices, location, etc.) corresponding to the previous call and/or the subsequent call, can also be used as a basis from which to provide a pre-call analysis.

Abstract: Systems and methods for detecting indications of a scam caller are disclosed. Call data, such as call audio, is received and used to create a training dataset. Using the training dataset, a machine learning model is trained to detect indications of a scam caller in a phone call. An Interactive Voice Response (IVR) model is trained or configured, using voice samples of speech of a subscriber of a telecommunications service provider, to simulate speech and conversation of the subscriber. A conversational agent is generated using the IVR model and the trained machine learning model. The conversational agent receives a phone call, engages a caller in simulated conversation, and detects indications of whether the caller is a likely scam caller. If the caller is determined to be a likely scam caller, an alert can be generated and/or the call can be disconnected.

Abstract: This document describes systems and techniques to enable selectable controls for interactive voice response (IVR) systems. The described systems and techniques can determine whether audio data associated with a voice or video call between a user of a computing device and a third party includes multiple selectable options. The third party audibly provides the selectable options during the call. In response to determining that the audio data includes the selectable options, the computing device can determine a text description of the multiple selectable options. The described systems and techniques can then display two or more selectable controls on a display. The user can select a selectable control to indicate a selected option of the multiple selectable options. In this way, the described systems and techniques can improve a user experience with voice calls and video calls by making IVR systems easier to navigate and understand.

Abstract: A system and method are provided for managing an incident call between a public safety responder and a target. Once an incident call is established, the system and method perform audio analytics on the call to determine a trusted side of the call and a target side of the call. The method and system determine, based on the audio analytics of the call, that the trusted side of the call should be modified to create a suitable call environment perception for the target side of the call. Modifications are then made at the trusted side of the call by injecting background audio to create the suitable call environment to be heard at the target side of the call.

Abstract: A method for facilitating an interaction with a contact center for a customer relating to a problem with a target object. The method includes receiving images of the target object from the customer and processing the images by: identifying a base object corresponding to the target object; retrieving a base object model, product identification information, and customer service information associated with the base object; analyzing the images by comparing the images of the target object to the base object model to detect changes; based on the detected changes, determining a problem statement related to the interaction; and based on the customer service information and the problem statement, selecting an applicable contact center as the contact center for the interaction. The method includes transmitting a communication that include the problem statement to the contact center to initiate the interaction.

Abstract: Disclosed is a method for managing acoustic feedback in real-time audio communications in a communications system, the method comprising determining, by means of a detection module, whether a first communication device is in loudspeaker mode, whether the first communication device is in real-time audio communications with a second communication, and whether the first communication device and the second communication device are in a same acoustic space. Upon determining that this is the case a request signal for requesting one or more measures against acoustic feedback is provided to a mitigation module. The method further includes determining whether a first set of the one or more sets of acoustic parameters suggest an action to be performed to improve the first set of acoustic parameters associated with the video conference.
