    Abstract: Breathing systems and methods for a gearbox is described. Embodiments preferably create a closed system for air within the gearbox. As an operating gearbox warms the air or fluid within, or an altitude change causes air to expand or contract, increased pressure can result and air can escape through tubing to a cannister. The cannister can receive the expanding air in an impermeable cavity that is proximate to a bladder open or partially open to an exterior environment. Air can press on the bladder, expanding the cavity and shrinking the bladder until a pressure equilibrium is reached. As operation of the gearbox is lowered or powered off, or another altitude change occurs, the air can cool and/or retract into the gearbox. The bladder can then expand and press on the cavity until equalizing the pressure within the cannister.

    Abstract: A valve connector for a high pressure air pump includes an outer sleeve having opposite first and second ends. An abutting member includes an abutting end received in the receiving space and a connecting end opposite to the abutting end. The abutting member includes an inlet passageway intercommunicating with the abutting end and the connecting end. An outer periphery of an airtight member about the rotating axis slidably abuts and is in airtight contact with an inner periphery of the receiving space. The airtight member is movable toward the first end or the second end. The airtight end face is configured to be biased toward the first end by air current entering from the inlet passageway.

    Abstract: Modular valve assemblies are disclosed. In embodiments the modular valve assemblies include a first frame and a second frame. The first frame includes a fluid inlet and first mount, and the second frame includes a fluid outlet and a second mount. A connection element extends between the first mount and the second mount. At least a first modular block and a second modular block are disposed on the connection element and position between the first and second frame. The first and second modular blocks may each be rotatable about the connection element between a use position and a maintenance position. In the use position, a composite flow path extends from the fluid inlet, through a first fluid flow path in the first modular block, through a second fluid flow path in the second modular block, and to the fluid outlet. Rotation of the first or second modular block to its maintenance position moves the first or second fluid flow path, respectively, out of the composite flow path.

    Abstract: A sprinkler water flow switching device is assembled in a movable seat of the water sprinkler with a partition dividing into an impeller chamber and a gear chamber. The partition is provided with a first water channel and a second water channel for directing water from the gear chamber to the impeller chamber, so as to control the direction of rotation of the impeller in the impeller chamber. The water flow switching device includes a projection member, a seesaw plate and a driving lever in the gear chamber; the driving lever can oscillate and actuate the seesaw plate to move on the projection member, then the seesaw plate can move as a seesaw to selectively close the water inlet of the first water channel or the second water channel, thereby changing the rotation direction of the impeller and the water spray direction.

    Abstract: In a segmented ball valve for low noise and anti-cavitation applications, a replaceable cartridge is fixed inside and retained by stem and end post. The segment has a machined cylindrical bore with a slide-fit noise cartridge, enabling field replaceability with minor effort & without need of welding or fasteners. The replaceable cartridge also enables use of a fully cylindrical cartridge with greater pressure reduction stages compared to welded-on noise plates on the segment. The segment has a flattened front face resulting in lower Fd enabled by dual flow path in lower openings values thereby attaining higher noise attenuation where the cartridge is not required. The curved plates of the low noise and anti-cavitation cartridge enable: expanding flow resulting in non-impinging jet streams thereby achieving higher noise attenuation in one direction; and converging flow in the opposite direction resulting in reduction of flow energy, and the potential for cavitation for liquids.
