Abstract: Systems and methods for providing algorithm performance feedback to an algorithm developer is provided In some embodiments, an algorithm and a data set are receiving within a secure computing node. The data set is processed using the algorithm to generate an algorithm output. A raw performance model is generated by regression modeling the algorithm output. The raw performance model is then smoothed to generate a final performance model, which is then encrypted and routed to an algorithm developer for further analysis. The performance model models at least one of the algorithm's accuracy, F1 score accuracy, precision, recall, dice score, ROC (receiver operator characteristic) curve/area, log loss, Jaccard index, error, R2 or by some combination thereof. The regression modeling includes linear least squares, logistic regression, deep learning or some combination thereof.

Abstract: A coarse grid model with a plurality of grid cells in a plurality of layers is provided. Model data are provided for a reservoir region of interest, and a plurality of pressure values are determined for the grid cells corresponding to a wellbore and for those not corresponding to the wellbore. A flowrate is determined at the grid cells corresponding to the wellbore based on the pressure values and on a flowrate metric. The flowrate metric is a function of well index, a pressure quantity, and a mobility variable, where the mobility variable is a non-linear function of gas condensate saturation and pressure. Also determined is a subset of the grid cells not corresponding to the wellbore where a pressure value is less than dew pressure. A flowrate for the subset of the one or more grid cells is determined based on the pressure values and on the flowrate metric.

Abstract: An API response field classification service obtains API documentation published by a vendor and defined security policies and matches the response fields represented in the security policies to their descriptions in the API documentation. The service generates labelled training data that comprise the identified response field descriptions with labels indicating that their corresponding response field is security related. Additional labelled training data for security unrelated response fields comprises descriptions of response fields that are known not to be represented with any security policies. The service trains a text classifier on the labelled training data. The trained text classifier accepts inputs comprising descriptions of unknown response fields and outputs predicted classes indicating whether the corresponding response fields are predicted to be security related. Subsequent creation of security policies can be focused on these response fields predicted to be security related.

Abstract: The present invention extends to methods, systems, and computer program products for detecting online contextual evolution of linguistic terms. Within messaging sources, some users may actively attempt to (relatively quickly) shift the meaning of a word or term. Some users may attempt to perjorate a word or term to have a more toxic meaning. Other users may attempt to reappropriate a word or term to have a less toxic or even a positive meaning. Aspects of the invention identify shifts in implied meanings of words and/or phrases over time. As such, emerging forms of harassment can be identified more quickly. Aspects of the invention can utilize users' behavioral histories as well as messaging structures to improve confidence when identifying term evolution. Machine learning algorithms can be configured to identify term evolution reducing workload on human moderators.

Abstract: An intelligent virtual assistant (IVA) is deployed to place a call/chat to customer service on behalf of the customer, thus saving them time and frustration. The IVA contacts a destination entity over one or more channels, for example, chat, phone call, Application Programming Interface (API), or email, in order to complete open-ended task(s) requested by another computer. Before the IVA contacts the destination entity, a specific user profile is injected into an IVA dialog state. The IVA contacts the destination entity and answers customer service agent (CSA) questions by using the specific user profile inserted. The IVA then stores the task outcome for the user to review. If something prevents the task from succeeding, the IVA alerts the user that either it needs more information or the user may need to perform some action before the task can be completed, such as filling out, or emailing a form.

Abstract: Embodiments of this specification provide for generating dialogue annotation data. A method includes: obtaining grammar that has been pre-generated in a target scenario, the grammar including a first phrase and a second phrase; the first phrase includes a first intent operation and a first variable of a first intent, where the first variable invokes other phrases. The second phrase assigns a value to the first variable and includes a property acquisition operation and a second variable of a second intent. Generating a target meaning representation of nested phrases for simulating a certain human-machine dialogue by invoking the first phrase and the second phrase in the grammar. Performing the first intent operations based on a property value corresponding to the first variable of the second variable assigned to the first variable.

Abstract: Disclosed techniques relate to managing a dialogue between a user device and an autonomous agent. For instance, a computing device creates a discourse tree from a body of text that includes fragments. The discourse tree includes a root node, nonterminal nodes, and terminal nodes. Each nonterminal node represents a rhetorical relationship between two of the fragments and each terminal node is associated with one of the fragments. The computing device determines a main topic of the body of text from the discourse tree. The computing device provides the main topic to the user device, and in response, receives a user utterance. The computing device determines an intent from the user utterance and navigates the discourse tree to locate relevant information consistent with the intent.

Abstract: A computing system identifies an incoming voice call from a user device to an agent device associated with the computing system. The computing system generates a transcription of the incoming voice call using one or more natural language processing techniques. The computing system extracts a problem description from the transcription. The problem description indicates a topic for the incoming voice call. A first machine learning model estimates a situation vector from the problem description. A second machine learning model identifies a pre-existing situation vector that closely matches the estimated situation vector. The computing system retrieves a situation description that corresponds to the identified pre-existing situation vector.

Abstract: Intelligent agents (IA) for automatically generating responses to content within a communication session (CS) are disclosed. An IA is trained to target the responses to a user and the user's context within the CS. An IA receives CS content that includes natural language expressions encoding users' conversations and determines content features based on natural language models. The content features indicate intended semantics of the expressions. The IA identifies likely-relevant content to the targeted user, to generate a response for. Identifying such content includes determining a relevance of the content based on content features, a context of the CS, a user-interest model, and a content-relevance model. Identifying the likely-relevant content to respond to is based on the determined relevance of the content and relevance thresholds. Various responses to the identified portions of the content are automatically generated and provided based on a natural language response-generation model targeted to the user.
