Abstract: A container system includes first and second container bodies and a connector for holding the container bodies together as a container sub-assembly. The container bodies each define external connector passageways, which are aligned co-axially for assembly. The connector passes through the passageway of the first container body and engages with a thread in the passageway of a second container body. A connector head engages the first container body to clamp the container bodies together. The sub-assembly is affixed to a supporting structure by a fastener having a threaded shaft passing through the connector to clamp the connector to the mounting formation. The clamp load is borne by the connector to prevent the container bodies being damaged when the fastener is tightened. The container system is particularly suited for providing twin tanks for fuel and a fuel additive on a vehicle or agricultural machine.

The system may provide data transmissions and may be provided in cloud/fog/edge computing systems. The water vessel may be powered by various propulsion systems. It may provide power generators, use regenerative power, swap, provide rechargeable power sources/swappable rechargeable power sources and a thermal management system. The charging stations may provide charging interfaces and both may be provided at about defined naval constructions, be adjustable, mobile. The MCS may be provided in an electric vehicle charging system comprising coupled electric vehicles and in an offshore charging system comprising a coupled marine power source to provide power while the vessel be stationary or in a motion. The MCS may be provided in a modular system. Marine charging and swapping methods are proposed.

Abstract: Particular embodiments may provide a method for facilitating access to power dispensers at a charging station by a server. The server receives a request to charge an electric vehicle (EV) at a charging station that has one or more power dispensers. Then, the server identifies a target EV to request disconnection of the power dispenser connected to the target EV based on an assessment of the EVs connected to the power dispensers. The server facilitates communication with a device associated with the user of the target EV, wherein the communication includes transmission of a notification comprising a request to disconnect the power dispenser connected to the target EV. Based on a response indicating acceptance of the request to disconnect the power dispenser, the server transmits signals to stop the power dispenser from charging the target EV and to unlock a charge port of the target EV.
