Abstract: A device that detects deployment of a parachute. The device is configured to be operatively connected to the parachute, such as through a container that holds the parachute. The device includes a cable with one or more connectors. The device also includes a controller that monitors a status of the cable. The cable is operatively connected to the container such as through a line. The container opens during deployment of the parachute. This opening causes one or more of the connectors to disengage thus causing an open circuit in the cable that is detected by the controller.

Abstract: A propeller propulsion unit, comprising at least one kinematic system comprising at least: a heat engine, an electrical energy generator, an electric motor configured to generate a rotary movement as output from the electrical energy generated by the electrical energy generator, a drive and selection device configured to assume a first configuration, in which it is coupled to the output of the electric motor, and a second configuration, in which it is coupled to the main shaft of the heat engine, and a propeller rotated by the drive and selection device. Such a propeller propulsion unit with a hybrid engine allows more power to be provided and facilitates maintenance and ergonomics and is safer.

An embodiment may further include a monitoring system configured to measure a plurality of data from each aircraft component and a flight controller communicatively coupled to the monitoring system, wherein the data verification can be performed by the flight controller. Further embodiments may include the flight controller generating an output datum from the assessment produced by the data verification and displaying it to a pilot via an output device.

Abstract: A method of generating a momentum change in a vehicle by phase changing matter in a closed system is used to change the momentum of the vehicle without the need of a combustion system for propulsion. The method uses the multi-phase dynamics of fluidic matter to create a momentum differential within a closed system that results in a momentum excess that changes the overall momentum of the system. The change of the overall momentum of the system results in a change in motion of the vehicle. The momentum differential is achieved by phase changing the fluidic matter moving through a heat exchanger. The phase change of the fluidic matter is arranged so that the momentum of the fluidic matter is reduced as the fluidic matter leaves the heat exchanger. The reduction in momentum of the fluidic matter results in the momentum differential that changes the overall momentum of the system.
