Abstract: Electronic devices may be provided that contain flexible displays that are bent to form displays on multiple surfaces of the devices. Bent flexible displays may be bent to form front side displays and edge displays. Edge displays may be separated from front side displays or from other edge displays using patterned housing members, printed or painted masks, or by selectively activating and inactivating display pixels associated with the flexible display. Edge displays may alternately function as virtual buttons, virtual switches, or informational displays that are supplemental to front side displays. Virtual buttons may include transparent button members, lenses, haptic feedback components, audio feedback components, or other components for providing feedback to a user when virtual buttons are activated.

Abstract: A smart digital computer platform is disclosed that collects, analyzes, and/or renders appropriate information about fugitive emissions identified by a sensor network-based emissions monitoring system in a facility. More specifically to the methods used by the smart digital computer platform to analyze, filter, and transform the collected monitoring data into a visual output that is capable of being rendered on a graphical user interface (GUI) on a screen display with, in some embodiments, a restricted form factor. For example, smart analytics may be used to cull, filter, and transform the data displayed in a pop-up dialog box on a GUI. In another example, the transformed data may be translated into a visual, graphical element that conveys an abundance of appropriate, tailored information to a particular type of user viewing the GUI.

Abstract: A computer-based method for rendering modified graphical content is disclosed. The graphical content includes a plurality of cells. The method includes receiving the graphical content with metadata modifying the graphical content, rendering the graphical content upon a screen according to the metadata, and receiving user input. The method also includes in response to the user input, progressing through at least a subset of the cells, wherein the progressing includes moving a camera view from cell to cell in the at least a subset, each of the cells in the at least a subset being displayed as a focus point with surrounding area being adjusted in opacity according to the metadata.

The method comprises displaying a first carousel of AR effects icons, receiving a first horizontal input on the touchpad, rotating the first carousel of AR effects icons in response to first horizontal input, receiving a first touch input on the touchpad to select a particular AR effects icon that is in a selection position in the first carousel, displaying a scene viewed by the one or more cameras, the scene being enhanced with AR effects corresponding to the particular AR effects icon, receiving content capture user input, and in response to the content capture user input, capturing a new content item corresponding to the scene.

Abstract: Aspects disclosed herein provide an operator training system that can train an operator about basic machine movements, operations, and applications, such as asphalt compactor rolling patterns, paving-by-numbers, milling-by-numbers, etc. with the use of a virtual reality headset at any point or time on a work site. The operator training system uses data received from the virtual reality headset and associated hand controls to guide the operator via training scenarios. The operator training system also includes providing immediate feedback on the outcome of the training scenario and may also identify one or more areas of improvement.

Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure are directed to an artificial reality system orchestrating interactions between virtual object “augments.” The orchestration can include linking, which can be forming two or more augments into a combination, embedding an augment within an existing combination, or triggering an action mapped to the linking of those augments. Another type of orchestration can include extracting, which can refer to taking an augment out of an existing combination, either by removing it from the combination or copying the augment to leave a version in the combination and having another version outside the combination.

The method may include transmitting an interactive 3D model data to two or more follower user devices associated with two or more followers. Further, the method may include generating a collaborative view data based on the interactive 3D model data and the two or more follower state data. Further, the method may include transmitting the collaborative view data to a leader user device operated by a leader associated with the two or more followers. Further, the leader user device may be configured for presenting the collaborative view data.

Abstract: Vehicle methods disclosed herein include displaying, on one or more user interfaces of a vehicle display, a visual summary of a defined trip route. The visual summary may include a start indicator, and end indicator, a transition indicator (indicating a road switch), a road type indicator, a municipality indicator, time indicators (indicating times to transition points and municipalities), and fuel/charge indicators indicating refueling/recharging locations, among other details. Travelers may use the one or more user interfaces to determine desired stopping locations, desired route, goods and services provided at different stops along the way, and other items. Other vehicle methods disclosed herein include preparing a music playlist curated for a specific trip and taking into account various user-specific factors, and changing the playlist in response to changes in trip conditions.

Abstract: Systems and methods for interaction of satellite and Internet protocol features in content delivery systems are presented. Using such systems and methods, the delivery of some content to the same product by Satellite delivery, other content by IP delivery, and still other content by both Satellite and IP delivery can enhance the utility of both the content and the product for an end user and can further optimize the costs and quality of service associated with delivering the content.

Abstract: Methods and systems described herein are directed to a virtual web browser for providing access to multiple virtual worlds interchangeably. Browser tabs for corresponding website and virtual world pairs can be displayed along with associated controls, the selection of such controls effecting the instantiation of 3D content for the virtual worlds. One or more of the tabs can be automatically generated as a result of interactions with objects in the virtual worlds, such that travel to a world, corresponding to an object to which an interaction was directed, is facilitated.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer-readable media for tagging, extracting, and consolidating information from electronically stored files are disclosed. The systems and methods may involve presenting to an entity viewing at least one source document a tag interface for enabling selection and tagging of document segments with at least one characteristic associated with each document segment; identifying tagged segments within the at least one source document; accessing a consolidation rule containing instructions for combining the tagged segments; implementing the consolidation rule to associate document segments sharing common tags; and outputting for display at least one tagged-based consolidation document grouping together commonly tagged document segments.

Abstract: A stroke erasing method, a terminal device, and a computer-readable storage medium are disclosed. Abstract: An artificial intelligence-based system and method for automatically generating and adjusting tags associated with one or more UI/UX related components or features is provided. Analysis may be performed on the data collected by the one or more tags so that design change recommendations can be dynamically recommended and/or implemented. When design changes are implemented, the system may automatically reconfigure or adjust all relevant tags. The AI-based system may be a standalone platform or may be incorporated into existing UI/UX programs.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer programs are presented for providing an interactive canvas tool to generate multimodal, personalized content. One method includes providing a user interface (UI) for a canvas tool to generate multimodal content. The canvas tool comprises a prompt panel, a variations panel, and a canvas configured to present items of several types, such as a text type and an image type. The method further includes receiving text input including a textual description with instruction for generating an item, where the canvas tool is configured to generate items from the several types. The method further includes providing the text input to a generative artificial intelligence (GAI) tool, and presenting one or more variations based on an output of the GAI tool. The method further includes detecting a selection of one of the variations in the variations panel, and adding the selected variation to the canvas in the UI.

Abstract: The present disclosure is directed toward systems, methods, and non-transitory computer readable media for generating content clusters from topic data and focus data, generating content collections from content clusters, storing and restoring desktop scene layouts, and storing and arranging video call scenes. In some embodiments, the disclosed systems generate content clusters based on topic data and focus data associated with content items within a content management system and/or accessed via the internet. The disclosed systems can also generate content collections for a user account of the content management system from the content clusters. In some embodiments, the content scene system can further store and restore desktop scene layouts for arranging application windows presenting content items. Further, the disclosed systems can store and arrange particular desktop scene layouts for video call scenes.

Slots or markers in respective rows corresponding to equivalent fractions are vertically aligned. An elongated slot may be provided on the template or on a separate template to draw a boundary to mark a fraction, identify equivalent fractions and perform mathematical operations. In another example, a first template includes a plurality of aligned rows with marks to indicate fractions and a second, transparent template for placement over the first template. Fractions may be drawn in a Unit box defined on the second template. Methods of using a template, and virtual templates, are also disclosed.

Abstract: Techniques to update a trim parameter in non-volatile memory during either a manufacturing stage or a post-manufacturing stage are described. Trim parameters may be stored in a register located within the memory device that is inaccessible by a host device during a normal mode of operation. Post-manufacturing updates to trim parameters by the host device may be feasible by creating registers located within the memory device that are accessible to the host device to provide information regarding trim parameter setting updates. The memory device may read the information from the registers accessible to the host device to update trim parameters stored in the register inaccessible by the host device. In this manner, the host device may not have a direct access to the trim parameters but still be able to provide an update to the trim parameters by updating an entry of the registers accessible by the host device.

In some examples, a memory device may perform a reset operation and set a mode register to a first value based on performing the reset operation. The host device may determine from the received indication or from the first value stored in the mode register that the first value is associated with the successful execution of the reset command. Thus, the memory device, or the host device, or both may be configured to verify whether the reset operation is successful.

Abstract: An apparatus controller includes a first communication module, a storage module, a data processing module, and a controller. The first communication module receives from each of one or more apparatuses, operation information indicating the operation state of the apparatus. The storage module stores the operation information in a cumulative manner. The data processing module combines, when values indicated by a plurality of operation information pieces successively received from the apparatus by the first communication module are equal to each other, the plurality of operation information pieces, thereby producing combined operation information. The controller causes, when the data processing module produces the combined operation information, the storage module to store the combined operation information instead of the plurality of operation information pieces.

Abstract: A system and method for compacting data that uses mismatch probability estimation to improve entropy encoding methods to account for, and efficiently handle, previously-unseen data in data to be compacted. Training data sets are analyzed to determine the frequency of occurrence of each sourceblock in the training data sets. A mismatch probability estimate is calculated comprising an estimated frequency at which any given data sourceblock received during encoding will not have a codeword in the codebook. Entropy encoding is used to generate codebooks comprising codewords for data sourceblocks based on the frequency of occurrence of each sourceblock. A “mismatch codeword” is inserted into the codebook based on the mismatch probability estimate to represent those cases when a block of data to be encoded does not have a codeword in the codebook. During encoding, if a mismatch occurs, a secondary encoding process is used to encode the mismatched sourceblock.

If the start address of each region aligns with the address structure of the MPU region size, then those regions are assigned to MPU regions having the MPU region size; otherwise, another MPU size that aligns with the size of the regions is selected and those regions are assigned to MPU regions having that size. Content is generated to configure settings of MPU regions of the programmable computing device for the merged contiguous regions, the combined region, and the independent regions.

Abstract: To provide more uniform performance levels for solid state drive (SSDs), the static power level used by an SSD in an idle state is measured and used to determine a static power offset for each of the drives. The static power offset is set as a parameter for the SSD and used to offset a received power supply level for use on the drive. For a data storage system of multiple SSDs, a common scaling factor can be used to set the degree to which the static power offset is implemented, allowing for a choice between uniformity of power and uniformity of performance for the SSDs of a data storage system.

Abstract: A variety of applications can include a memory device having a memory die designed to control a power budget for a cache and a memory array of the memory die. A first flag received from a data path identifies a start of a cache operation on the data and a second flag from the data path identifies an end of the cache operation. A controller for peak power management can be implemented to control the power budget based on determination of usage of current associated with the cache from the first and second flags. In various embodiments, the controller can be operable to feedback a signal to a memory controller external to the memory die to adjust an operating speed of an interface from the memory controller to the memory die. The SSD resource information may include resource occupation information in the SSD. Generating the second storing instruction may include parsing an identification of a storage object, data length information and a starting source address of entire data, allocating a flash memory address or addresses in one or more SSDs for storing data of the storage object according to the data length information and the resource occupancy information in the SSD, and generating the second storing instructions for each SSD.

Abstract: An approach for optimizing storage on a local storage device. The approach identifies a stored or being stored on a user's local storage device. The approach extracts metadata from the media file. The approach searches the user-associated storage locations for a matching media file based on the metadata. If the approach locates the matching media file, then the approach, using artificial intelligence (AI), predicts if the local device storage should be optimized for the media file, then the approach, using AI, stores a link to the matching media file on the local device storage and removes the media file from the local device storage.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for access control configurations for inter-processor communications are described to support reconfiguration of a dynamic access control configuration at a device. The configuration may support additional configuration fields that may be added to existing access control rules of the device. A processor of the device may request creation of a new shared memory resource, using a subregion of an existing memory resource, where the additional fields may indicate a parent memory resource for the new memory resource. The additional fields may also include a value which may indicate a processor which has write permission for a respective memory region of the shared memory, where other processors of the device may be prevented from writing to the memory region. The additional fields may further indicate a chain of delegation, or a history, of which processors have been assigned the exclusive write permission for the respective memory region.
