Abstract: A delivery device and system to supplement CO2 in an underwater environment without the need for electricity or the use of compressed CO2. The device consists of a container containing a biological organism such as mycelium and including an exit portal for CO2 to enter the underwater environment. The device may also incorporate a separation device to delay and control the flow of CO2. The system requires the device to be held in place through a securing point in the underwater environment. The minimum requirements for the device are described, but in certain instances it will be preferably used with a double-bag or an outer shell housing to protect or aesthetically conceal the placement underwater. The use of this device and system to supplement carbon dioxide in water will span many industries and applications. It will assist with mosquito trapping. It will also supplement CO2 in underwater growing environments.

Abstract: An essentially carbohydrate-free, protein-based flour substitute and methods for preparing the same are disclosed herein. The flour substitute may be used to make pizza crusts, chips, taco shells, tortillas, crackers, sandwich thins, and other food products that are traditionally flour-based. The organoleptic properties of the disclosed flour substitute preferably resemble the organoleptic properties of traditional baked goods and are substantially different from the organoleptic properties of traditional meat products. The disclosed flour substitute comprises a meat or nut flour, a flavor-masking spice, salt, and a vegetable, fruit, or plant-based oil or an oil-based spray. The disclosed flour substitute is used to make substitute food products that preferably resemble, in both appearance and taste, the traditional food products that the substitute food products are replacing. The flour substitute is preferably fiber-free and does not contain any other non-digestible carbohydrates.

Abstract: Disclosed is a base oil for functional food oils and fats, a preparation method therefor and the use thereof. The base oil for functional food oils and fats is formed through ternary transesterification on medium-chain triglycerides, high-melting-point fat and oils rich in linolenic acid. The base oil for functional food oils and fats has a wide melting range, can significantly improve the glucose and lipid metabolism disorder, balance the essential and functional fatty acids in the body, and quickly replenish energy. Animal experiments were conducted and the fatty acid composition and distribution of the base oil were optimized and determined through comparative analysis based on evaluation indicators such as the improved effect in glucose and lipid metabolism and melting point.
