Abstract: The present invention relates to a device for the delivery of a mist of a dose of an ophthalmic liquid, including a housing with a holding chamber having a discharge opening for holding the dose of liquid to be delivered, a pump for pumping, via a dose supply conduit, the dose of the liquid to the holding chamber, the pump being connected with a container containing a plurality of the doses, and an air flow conduit for supplying a flow of air to the holding chamber so as to force the dose delivered by the pump to the holding chamber out through the discharge opening.

Abstract: There is provided an eyedrop administrative device having a main device body, an eyedrop vessel for receiving and maintaining an eyedrop, a trajectory mechanism for expelling the eyedrop from the eyedrop vessel in an arced trajectory, thereby administering the eyedrop. Also provided is an eyelid lowering mechanism which is integrated into the eyedrop administrative device. Also provided is a method of administering an eyedrop by creating an eye pocket in the eye and expelling the eyedrop from the device in an arced trajectory from the device into the lower eyelid, also known as the eye pocket.

Abstract: A system for incising tissue with a plasma comprises an elongate electrode configured to incise the tissue along a tissue incision profile and a tissue contact element configured to shape the tissue, which comprises one or more of a channel or a protrusion to form one or more of a corresponding protrusion or indentation in a tissue surface while the tissue is incised with the electrode along the incision profile. The tissue contact element shapes the tissue sufficiently to allow the tissue to form one or more complimentary features along the incision profile when the tissue relaxes to a free-standing configuration with removal of the tissue contact element. The complementary features may be incised into the tissue to provide increased mechanical stability between the separated tissue regions, such as with nominally interlocking protrusion(s) and indentation(s).

A proximal portion of a compression sleeve is disposed over at least a portion of the residuum. A free distal portion of the sleeve extends through the opening in the shell and everts upon application of a longitudinal force to the distal portion of the sleeve in a proximal direction for folding over and covering the shell. The distal portion of the sleeve extends proximally of the shell to a position at least partially along the proximal portion of the sleeve for compressing the shell inwardly toward the residuum.

The present system of pantiliners and menstrual pads is helpful in providing a decrease of pain and other unwanted symptoms during a menstrual cycle. In another advantage, the right placement guide and the left placement guide are provided to assist in placing the menstrual pads of the invention accurately in relation to the undergarment of the user.

The bottle strap includes a first end, a second end, a first outer surface, and a first inner surface that engages the bottle when the bottle strap is wrapped around the bottle. The first inner surface overlaps the first outer surface to form a first loop that engages the bottle. The hand strap includes a third end, a fourth end, a second outer surface, and a second inner surface that engages the arm or at least the portion of the hand. The bottle strap and the hand strap are coupled together at an interface. The second inner surface overlaps the second outer surface to form a second loop that engages the arm or at least the portion of the hand.

Abstract: An object of the present invention is to provide a dental composition that exhibits small polymerization shrinkage stress, and provides excellent mechanical strength. The present invention relates to a dental composition comprising a compound (A), a monomer (B) having a solubility of 50 g/L or more in acetone at 25° C., and a polymerization initiator (C), wherein the compound (A) has a weight-average molecular weight of 1,000 to 80,000, and includes a Tg of less than 40° C., in addition to having a solubility of less than 50 g/L in acetone at 25° C. Preferably, the compound (A) comprises a compound having a polymerizable group.
