The weapon (20) is mounted to an elevation device (30) arranged to allow elevation movement of the weapon (20) about an elevation axis (Z1). The arrangement comprises a feeding chute (40; 140) connected at one end to the weapon (20). The feeding chute (40) comprises a set of elements (42; 142) assembled together in a stacked configuration. The set of elements (42; 142) is arranged about a shaft (44; 144) configured to be concentrically arranged relative to the elevation axis (Z1) so as to allow movement of individual elements of the set of elements (42; 142)) about said shaft (44; 144) in connection to elevation movement of the weapon (20) about the elevation axis (Z1). The invention also relates to a vehicle with an arrangement according to the present invention.

Abstract: A system for providing discharge monitoring of a firearm includes a first sensor, a second sensor and an event detection module. The first sensor is disposed on the firearm that senses a first acceleration along a first axis and sends a first input signal. The second sensor is disposed on the firearm that senses a second environmental variable and sends a second input signal. The event detection module receives the first input signal and compares the first acceleration to an acceleration threshold indicative of a shot; receives the second input signal and compares the second input signal to a second threshold indicative of a shot; determines whether a discharge has occurred based on both the first signal satisfying the acceleration threshold and the second input signal satisfying the second threshold; and generates an event detection signal based on the determination.

Abstract: A method for determining a discharge event of a firearm includes receiving by an event detection module, (i) acceleration input signals over time including first acceleration input signals along a first axis, a second acceleration input signals along a second axis and a third acceleration input signals along a third axis; and (ii) rotation input signals over the time including first rotation input signals around the first axis, a second rotation input signals around the second axis and a third rotation input signals around the third axis. A sample event candidate is generated based on the plurality of acceleration and rotation input signals over the time. The sample event candidate is compared to a stored data collection of acceleration and rotation inputs known to represent at least one state of a user of the firearm. A state of the user is determined based on the comparing.

Abstract: A trigger assembly includes a selector operable between a safe position, a semiautomatic fire position, and an automatic fire position. In one example, the assembly includes a trigger rotatable between a resting position and a pulled position, a disconnector pivotable between a first position where it is in the path of the operational rod, and a second position where it is out of the path of the operational rod. A sear is pivotable between an engaged position and a disengaged position and is biased to the engaged position where it is positioned in the path of the operational rod. A sear link is pivotably connected to the trigger, such that pulling the trigger moves the sear link into contact with the sear to pivot the sear towards the disengaged position. The sear link is spaced from the sear when the trigger is in the resting position.

Abstract: A suppressor assembly for a firearm having a receiver and a barrel connected to the receiver includes a tube adapted to be coupled to the receiver and defining at least one port arranged proximate to a first end. The tube encloses the barrel defining a radial gap therebetween. Moreover, the tube extends outwardly of the barrel in a longitudinal direction defining an axial gap therebetween. The radial gap and the axial gap together define an expansion volume around the barrel. An end cap is arranged at a second end of the tube and coupled to the tube. The end cap defines an outlet opening to facilitate an exit of a bullet from the tube. Propellant gases, generated during firing of the bullet, expand inside the expansion volume and exit the tube through the at least one port.

Abstract: A toy gun having a pair of sides are joined together using a number of pins inserted through pin holes passing through the pair of sides. A trigger and a slide are sandwiched between the pair of sides and are secured therein. A pivot pin allows the trigger to be pulled rearwardly such that it presses against the slide, moving it reward as well. When this occurs, the slide moves out from between the two sides, pushing the elastic bands away from static notches located on the rear end of the sides. This causes the top-most elastic band to fire away from the gun, and the remaining elastic bands to be reseated upwardly into the next adjacent respective static notch. The elastic bands pull the trigger back into its original position, allowing for semi-automatic firing.
