  • Patent number: 11970000
Abstract: A liquid discharge apparatus includes liquid discharge units, a first image capturing unit, a second image capturing unit, a detection unit, and a discharge determination unit. The liquid discharge units include a first liquid discharge unit and a second liquid discharge unit downstream from the first discharge unit in a moving direction of a recording medium. The first capturing unit captures a first image of the medium at a position corresponding to the first discharge unit. The second capturing unit captures a second image of the medium at a position corresponding to the second discharge unit. The detection unit detects a movement amount of the medium in the moving direction, based on the first image and the second image. The discharge determination unit determines a discharge timing of the second discharge unit with respect to discharge of the first discharge unit, based on the movement amount and a clock signal.

Abstract: The invention relates to a method for profiling a print medium for use in a printing system. The print medium is received in an input holder and a plurality of test jobs is received in a test job receiver. For each test job a uniquely determined combination of at least a first printing system parameter of print speed of the printing system and a second printing system parameter of coverage of the marking material is intended to be prepared by a print controller. The printing system registers a test result of each test job. The print controller creates a two-dimensional media print mode table of media print modes for the print medium to be profiled based on the test results of the test jobs for the print medium. When a print job arrives intended to be printed on the profiled medium, a media print mode is selected from the two-dimensional media print mode table.

Abstract: Particular embodiments may enable configuring settings of a vehicle in a designated mode. A signal to perform a vehicle leveling process using an electronically controlled suspension of a vehicle may be received. A roll angle and a pitch angle of the vehicle as parked may be assessed based on data received from a position sensor built into the vehicle. Signals to adjust an electronically controlled suspension of the vehicle to reduce the roll angle or the pitch angle so that the vehicle is level as parked may be sent based on the assessed roll angle and pitch angle exceeding a threshold value. Data may be transmitted to present information related to the vehicle leveling process in a graphical user interface.
