Patent number: 11970845Abstract: A water flow valve positioned within a waterline preferably just past a building's water meter. The valve compresses air bubbles into the water at the point where the water enters the meter, thus improving the accuracy of the meter reading. The internal passageway of the valve is non-linear and causing the water traveling therethrough to go through a plurality of turns. A blocking disk and spring are used to close off communication between a first portion of the internal passageway and a second portion of the passageway in a valve closed position. With enough water flow pressure the spring is compressed which causes the blocking disk to retract and allow water to travel through the passageway, while creating the backpressure in the waterline to collapse the air bubbles prior to the bubbles being read by the water meter. A laminar flow for the water can also be created which can reduce the wear and tear on the water meter possibly extending the useful life for the water meter.Type: GrantFiled: April 19, 2022Date of Patent: April 30, 2024Assignee: BUDDERFLY, INCInventor: Fabian Mauricio Barreda

Patent number: 11970852Abstract: An inflatable barrier allows separating air in a first space from air in a second space to provide containment. The inflatable barrier may include an inflatable bag with edge seals in the form of parallel tubes. The bag receives air from an air mover through a first opening. It has a carrier for a vent that releases air while the bag stays inflated. A tension rod prevents the bag from bulging out of shape. The bag may be hung from an expandable rod. An internal channel may route air through the whole bag. The inflatable barrier may comprise an outer sleeve and two or more inflatable inner chambers. The circumference of a main sleeve matches the circumference of a combination of the inner chambers. The inner chambers include an air inlet/outlet. The outer sleeve may have connector halves to couple the barrier with another barrier, or to couple the main sleeve with a top, a bottom, or an extension.Type: GrantFiled: September 12, 2020Date of Patent: April 30, 2024Inventors: Keith Gangitano, Anthony Joseph Gangitano, Cole James Maston

Patent number: 11970853Abstract: The present disclosure describes modular blocks configured to give the appearance of natural or cut stone. An aesthetic coating composition may be applied to one or more surfaces of a block having a low-density, such as an insulating concrete form (ICF), to form an modular block having the appearance of cut stone. The aesthetic coating composition includes a binder component, such as a cementitious binder made from white Portland cement, or a polymer binder such as an acrylic binder, an aggregate component, such as a limestone aggregate component, and optionally an adhesive component. The aggregate component includes a fine sand portion and a coarse sand portion that effectively enable the appearance of cut stone after finishing of the aesthetic coating surface via sanding, polishing, sandblasting, acid etching, acid finishing, or exposed aggregate finishing.Type: GrantFiled: March 11, 2021Date of Patent: April 30, 2024Assignee: TUSCAN STONEWORX USA, LLCInventor: David L. Patent number: 11970854Abstract: A partition, mounted on a mounting surface, comprises a plurality of elongate upright members, a first board and a second board. The first board is mounted on one side of a pair of the elongate upright members that are adjacent to each other, and the second board is mounted on the other side of the same pair of adjacent elongate upright members, so as to provide a cavity between the pair of elongate upright members and the first and second boards. The partition further comprises a spacer that is located within the cavity, the maximum dimension of the spacer in the through-thickness direction of the partition being at least 90% of the separation of the two boards. The spacer may help to reduce the extent of inward bowing of the boards between adjacent elongate upright members, so that, for example, the upright members may be spaced further apart.Type: GrantFiled: September 10, 2019Date of Patent: April 30, 2024Assignee: Saint-Gobain PlacoInventors: Jan Rideout, Nicholas Jones
