    Abstract: Apparatus and methods are provided for use with a smoking device. An elongate capsule includes a smoking material containing one or more active agents disposed along a portion of a length of the capsule. Two cylindrical elements are disposed at respective ends of the portion of the length of the capsule that contains the smoking material, such that a predefined quantity of smoking material is disposed between the two cylindrical elements. One or more heating elements disposed within the capsule are configured to vaporize one or more of the active agents from within the smoking material, by the one or more heating elements being heated by the smoking device. The predefined quantity of smoking material disposed between the two cylindrical elements is configured to provide a metered dose of the one or more active agents to a user.
