Each sub-band-signal exhibit a second sampling-rate lower than the first sampling-rate. Each of at least one selected sub-band-processor receives a respective sub-band-signal, introduces at least one effect to the respective sub-band-signal, and increases the sampling-rate of the respective sub-band-signal to the first sampling-rate, thereby producing a respective affected sub-band re-transmit signal. Each selected sub-band-processor is further provides the respective affected sub-band re-transmit signal to a respective input of the summer.

  • Patent number: 12063111
Abstract: Techniques for controlling parameters for uplink transmission associated with a device to facilitate improving a communication condition metric(s) (CCM(s)) of the uplink transmission are presented. A communication management component (CMC) can determine whether CCM satisfies a first threshold CCM. If CCM does not, CMC can modify a parameter(s) to reduce a number of resource blocks or an MCS value to improve the CCM. If respective minimum threshold levels have been reached for the number of resource blocks and MCS value, and CCM still is not satisfying the first threshold CCM, CMC can modify a parameter to increase an amount of repetition of data packets for uplink transmission (unless a maximum threshold amount of repetition is reached). If CCM satisfies an applicable threshold CCM for a defined amount of time, CMC can modify parameters to increase the number of resource blocks, increase MCS value, or reduce repetition of data packets.

  • Patent number: 12063114
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described that provide for group or one-shot acknowledgment (ACK) feedback reporting, in which feedback for a number of different downlink transmissions may be provided by a user equipment (UE) to a base station. A base station may trigger a one-shot feedback report that includes less than all of the ACK feedback that is available at the UE to provide in a report. The ACK feedback may include an indication of an ACK or a negative acknowledgement (NACK) along with information related to a data indicator associated with the downlink transmission. In some cases regular ACK feedback reports and one-shot feedback reports may be multiplexed and transmitted by a UE. Further, a last downlink transmission to be included in a one-shot feedback report may be determined based on a receipt time of scheduling information or an ACK feedback timeline.

  • Patent number: 12063123
Abstract: Described herein are techniques for generating insights, including summary descriptions, for an online meeting. During an online meeting, various pre-trained computer vision algorithms are used to identify regions of interest within one or more video streams depicting a meeting participant, and any video stream via which content is being shared. These detected regions of interest are further processed with additional pre-trained computer vision algorithms to detect non-verbal communications, including gestures made by meeting participants, facial expressions or emotions, and text or graphics shared as part of a content sharing feature. From these non-verbal communications, textual descriptions of the detected communications are derived. These textual descriptions of the detected communications are then provided as an input to a software-based meeting analyzer service, which is configured to generate various insights based on end-user queries, and automated requests.

  • Patent number: 12063138
Abstract: Probabilistic shaping quadrature amplitude modulation (QAM) based on Maxwell-Boltzmann distribution is particularly important in coherent optical communication, which can approach the Shannon limit more desirably in the case of a finite signal-to-noise ratio. However, standard coherent optical digital signal processing algorithms are not optimal for demodulation of PS higher-order QAM signals. The invention provides a probabilistic shaping QAM dynamic equalization method that intercepts multiple inner rings after clock recovery and updates the convergence radius and area of a conventional blind dynamic channel equalization algorithm using a peak density K-means clustering algorithm. The clustering algorithm gives centroid labels and a quantity of classifications required for K-means, which does not require a large number of iterations of K-means, thereby reducing the complexity and improving the accuracy.

  • Patent number: 12063142
Abstract: A computing system identifies mitigation actions in response to failures within a computer network. A service level objective is obtained by the computing system for client-resource data flows traversing the computer network between client-side and resource-side nodes. Indication of a failure event at a network location of the computer network is obtained. For each mitigation action of a set of candidate mitigation actions, an estimated impact to a distribution of the service level objective is determined for the mitigation action by applying simulated client-resource data flows to a network topology model of the computer network in combination with the mitigation action and the failure event. One or more target mitigation actions are identified by the computing system from the set of candidate mitigation actions based on a comparison of the estimated impacts of the set of candidate mitigation actions.

Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for configuring a communication network to satisfy a set of demands. A network management system can obtain a network graph representing the communication network, connectivity relationship that indicates valid pairs of edges for each vertex in the network graph, and a structure that lacks zero divisors. The network management system can use the network graph, connectivity relationship, and structure to determine a path length for which a valid path connecting a source vertex and a terminal vertex exists. The path length can be determined using a dynamic programming approach that associates an element of the structure with the collection of paths connecting the source vertex and the terminal vertex. The network management system can then use the network graph, connectivity relationship, and structure to determine a valid path of the path length that connects the source vertex and the terminal vertex.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for implementing multicast. When a multicast source performs route advertisement, route update is performed on a cross-DC integrated device, and a received device identifier and a received AS number are replaced with a device identifier and an AS number that are of the integrated device. In this way, when a multicast user joins the multicast source, each network device in the network can trace the multicast source based on a received route, and determine a multicast path that is from the multicast source to the multicast user. Therefore, it is possible to accurately perform, in a NG MVPN, cross-DC multicast on traffic of the multicast source.

Abstract: The construction method of NALU (Network Abstraction Layer Unit) for IPv6 label switching and its using algorithms of video encoding, QoS control, and decoding are provided. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the NALU format is composed of the NALH (Network Abstraction Layer Header) including the label and the NAL (Network Ab¬straction Layer) payload. Here, the label is determined based on layer information which is combination of a spatial scalable level, a temporal scalable level, and a quality scalable level of the encoded data. The decoder uses the label to decide which one of multiple decoding modules is used to decode the current NAL payload. Moreover, the label can be included in the packet header so that the MANE (Media Aware Network Element) can use the label to decide whether to forward the packet or drop it. For example, the label in the packet header can be used for QoS control of video service by using the flow label field in IPv6 packet header.
