Abstract: Disclosed are body impact protection systems. The body impact protection system may comprise at least one plate element layer, such as an interconnected meshed plate element network. Another embodiment may be directed to a protection system comprising at least one plate element layer, such as an interconnected meshed plate element network overlapping and adjacent to at least one liner or gel. Further embodiments may comprise the combination of multiple body impact protection systems in a single protective garment or device. Impact protection systems may be designed to protect various body features, such as for example, the head, shoulders, elbows, arms, wrists, hands, chest, torso, thighs, knees, shins, ankles, feet, and the like. The inventive body impact protection system affords more protection from the force of an impact and comfort than conventional body impact protection systems.

The inner layer includes a material composition and is adjacent to a body part when the body impact protection system is worn. The impact force dampening and defusing structure is juxtaposed to the inner layer and includes a plurality of components. The components function to reduce pressure on the body part from an impact force on a layer by layer basis. Each layer of the system dampens and defuses the impact force such that, by the time it reaches the body part, it has been substantially attenuated and spread over a large area.

The mask body includes a filtering structure having a central panel, an upper panel separated from the central panel by a first line of demarcation, and a lower panel separated from the central panel by a second line of demarcation. The mask body further includes a bisecting fold, and a transversely-extending three-layer pleat disposed in a central panel of a filtering structure of the mask body. The transversely-extending three-layer pleat is formed in the mask body and is sealed to itself at a first seal location disposed on a right side of the mask body and a second seal location disposed on a left side of the mask body.

Abstract: A protective lens stack comprises a base layer including a polyethylene terephthalate (PET) film containing a UV blocking additive and one or more removable lens layers stacked on top of the base layer. Each of the removable lens layers may include a PET film and a first adhesive disposed on a bottom surface of the PET film. Refractive indices of the base layer and the one or more removable lens layers may be matched to within 0.2. Each layer of the protective lens stack, including the base layer and each of the removable lens layer(s), may have less than 0.5% haze. The protective lens stack may be used as a face shield or may be surface mountable using a second adhesive disposed on a bottom surface of the PET film containing the UV blocking additive.

The pocket may have one or more pleats that produces an exterior wall that is greater in width than a width between the first side attachment to the second side attachment of the exterior wall to cause the cargo pocket exterior wall to protrude from said exterior of said trouser exterior. This protruding type pocket with a built-in expansion capability in the exterior wall may provide effective concealment of the bodily fluid pouch.

Abstract: A lace converter strap system, dual material handwrap, and non-stretch non-slip tape alternative are disclosed for use in various articles of clothing including combat sport gloves, footwear, and other body-worn equipment. The system and dual material handwrap addresses the requirement of dexterity, creates a wider range of closure, and is much faster for controlling distribution of load along material than traditional lacing. The system and dual material handwrap also releases significantly faster than a typical laced article. The system is easily adjustable and can be set to ideal open/close positions by the user. By combining a tacky non-slip silicone coating to a non-stretch woven ribbon, the various aspects of the invention provide a reusable tape-alternative in closing laces for articles and supporting parts of the body.

In response to an oblique impact to the helmet, the shear component undergoes internal shear to allow displacement between the helmet and the wearer's head.

In one embodiment, the knitted workpiece includes a collar portion and a throat portion extending from a forward end of the collar portion. The knitted workpiece also includes a medial lobe extending from one side of the throat portion and a lateral lobe extending from an opposite side of the throat portion from the medial lobe. The collar portion, the throat portion, the medial lobe, and the lateral lobe form a single unified knitted workpiece.

Abstract: A three-layered article of footwear construction having an outsole, midsole, and footbed. The outsole is made out of a rubber and has a mating relationship with the midsole. The midsole is made of a single density blown ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer (EVA). The midsole includes a first air cavity in the forefoot region and a second air cavity in the hind foot. The air cavities act like a suspension units under the impact areas of a foot giving improved impact reduction and help in reducing muscular and joint stress, fatigue, and impact during the normal walking gait motion. The footbed is made of a dual-density EVA. The dual density of the footbed allows for a greater flexibility and cushioning in the forefoot and heel regions due to its lighter density and provides greater support and stability around the perimeter area of the footbed due to its heavier density.

Abstract: An electronically controlled bladder assembly includes an adjustable pressure bladder and a reservoir connected by an electronically controlled valve. The electronically controlled valve is operated in a manner that inflates the adjustable bladder when the current pressure is below a target pressure and in a manner that deflates the adjustable bladder when the current pressure is above the target pressure. The system and process described herein allows the bladder pressure to be iteratively increased toward and decreased toward the target pressure.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a modular brush, with improved structure so that modular brush heads of various grades stored inside the storage compartment in the handle, are automatically exposed outwardly from the storage compartment, in connection with the cover opening movement. Thus, anybody can easily interchange one modular brush head with another. In particular, the modular brush is comprised mainly of a handle (10), cover (20), brush head portions (30), mounting portions (40), and lifting portions (50), so that by simple operation, the brush bristles in a gathered state retract into the ferrule tube of the brushhead for protection when not in use.

Abstract: A method for manufacturing a brushing part including the following steps: providing the support, pierced with through-holes, passing through the channel formed by the support; forming the tuft of bristles, by assembling a plurality of bristles by one end opposite the free end, so as to form a base of the tuft, so that a diameter of a section of the tuft, in a plane transverse to a direction of extension of the tuft, is greater than a diameter of a through-hole; merging the ends forming the base of the at least one tuft so that an extension of the merged zone in a direction transverse to the direction of extension of the at least one tuft is greater than an extension of the base in the transverse direction before the merging step; inserting the one tuft by force into one of the holes of the channel of the support, depositing glue and filling with resin.

Abstract: A cantilever rack having two uprights (1) and cantilever arms (10) is disclosed, each upright (1) having two parallel rows of holes arranged in the longitudinal direction of the uprights for height-adjustable attachment of the cantilever arms (10). Each upright (1) of the cantilever rack in the upright profile (2) consists of sheets with C-profiles, which are connected to each other with an internal screw connection, whereby the internal screw connection is accessible from the outside.

Abstract: A portable rail shelf system includes a portable rail shelf that is detachably attachable to a rail. A portable rail shelf includes a pair of shelf side panels, a shelf front panel, a shelf back panel and a shelf panel having a shelf surface. The portable rail shelf is configured to couple to a rail having vertical slats. A retainer plate is coupled to the portable rail shelf by a bolt that threadedly engages with a shelf bolt receiver. Rotation of the shelf bolt receiver is configured to actuate the retainer bolt and the retainer bolt coupled thereto. A paper towel roll may be coupled to the portable rail shelf by a dowel that extends through shelf side apertures in the shelf side panels.
