Abstract: The present disclosure relates to plasticized polymer compositions and a process for forming plasticized polymers. The process involves first coating the substrate with a plasticizer containing layer by dip coating. A powder layer of polymer is coated over it using a fluidized bed of polymer powder by dip forming process. The process involves cryogrinding the polymer pellets to below about 500 micrometer size particles, preferably below about 100 micrometer size particles, fluidizing the particles with or without fluidizing additives, by suspending the particles in air, by flowing air in a controlled manner upwards in a column resulting in an air solid suspension. The process can be used to make dip formed articles and dip coated substrates. This environmentally friendly process can be applied to bioplastics to make ecofriendly articles.

The helmet shell is expandable and contractable to fit a variety of head shapes and sizes, and hairstyles. The helmet shell may be a single, molded piece or it may include a base member and a flap member. Gaps or slots may be located between flexible side portions and a flexible rear portion of the helmet shell. The slots facilitate outward deflection of the side portions and the rear portion when the helmet is donned. The helmet shell may be biased toward a smaller size such that once the helmet shell is expanded by the force of a wearer's head, it contracts to fit snugly and securely.

The shoe includes a midsole, an outsole, an upper, a tongue, an insole and an adhesive. A material of the midsole, the outsole, the upper, the tongue, the insole and the adhesive are a polyester material.

Sensors in the sole of the footwear, in the upper of the footwear and/or in an article worn by the wearer of the footwear measure the level of stress or other characteristics and provide input to one or more microprocessors that control motors located in the sole or in the upper of the footwear. When the motors are activated, they may compress or loosen arrays of tiles to adjust the stiffness of the upper in one or more regions of the upper.

Foaming of the infused three-dimensional pre-product to generate the midsole.

The plurality of yarn segments is stacked to form the outline pattern without penetrating through a base layer. Each of the yarn segments comprises a first end and a second end opposite to each other, wherein the first end and the second end are open ends located at an edge of the outline pattern. The covering structure directly covers the yarn segments and fixes the position of the yarn segments, wherein the thickness of the covering structure on each of the yarn segments ranges from 0.01 mm to 1.5 mm. The non-woven layer has a tensile strength larger than 90 N/cm.

In an embodiment a physics simulation of at least one force deforms the 3D hairstyle. In an embodiment, the 3D representation includes the details and texture information independently of the color to allow accurately calculation of the resulting color. In an embodiment, the hair color is applied in response to ambient light conditions as estimated. The 3D representation can be segmented by groups of hair strands (aka “mèches” of hair) which helps with achieving vertical recoloring such as highlights, contouring or balayage (a highlighting technique applied to real hair through painting hair color to create a graduated, more natural looking effect).

The cinch lines and their associated locks, such as friction-type locks, may be accessible at an external location of the backpack, such as near the top or bottom of the backpack, on a hip belt or shoulder strap, to allow for adjustments without interrupting the user's activity. Each storage unit includes multiple panels and connectors interconnected to form an inner space and an opening. Each of the panels includes a panel frame and a panel sheet that covers the panel frame, with panel corners of the panel frame not being covered by the panel sheet. Each of the connectors has multiple panel corners corresponding to panel corners, and adjacent connector slots are oriented perpendicularly to each other. Further, the storage unit includes corner braces each being inserted into a corresponding connector located around the opening of the storage unit, and the corner braces are installed into available connector slots of the corresponding connectors.
