In some embodiments, the food product is a vegetarian or vegan food product. The food product may be a meat or seafood alternative.

Abstract: A processing method for improving a glucose absorption capacity of sea rice puffing powder and use of the sea rice puffing powder are disclosed. The processing method includes the following steps: mixing high-temperature resistant ?-amylase with sea rice bran to obtain a mixture; and adding water to the mixture to adjust a content of water, and then performing steam explosion processing on the mixture after being adjusted the content of water. The processing method provided by the present disclosure can solve the problems of dense dietary fiber structure and poor glucose absorption capacity of sea rice, and provides theoretical basis and technical guidance for developing sea rice into special nutritious food for people with hyperglycemia or diabetes.

Phospholipase A2 enzymes hydrolyze egg yolk phospholipids at the sn-2 fatty ester group to liberate the corresponding free fatty acids. The rate of enzymatic hydrolysis and the degree to which free fatty acids are liberated can be increased by addition of one or more calcium salts. The use of calcium salts to increase egg yolk phospholipid hydrolysis rate decreases production costs, decreases processing and production times, and increases process safety by reducing microbial content in enzyme-modified egg yolks.

The pivoting band is positionable in a first position or a second position. A face shield is attached to the pivoting band and the face shield has a clear portion and an opaque portion. An electrochromic layer is integrated into the clear portion of the face shield. The electrochromic layer is turned on when the face shield is in the second position to inhibit light from passing through the clear portion thereby facilitating the clear portion to shade the user when the pivoting band is in the second position. The electrochromic layer is turned off when the pivoting band is in the first position to facilitate the user to see through the clear portion.
