  • Patent number: 7814827
Abstract: A locking bolt for mounting a tool in a hydraulic press, it being possible for the locking bolt to move in a bolt receptacle between a locking position and a release position, with a securing element, which is located in the bolt receptacle and secures the locking position by positive engagement in the locking bolt, the locking bolt also having a securing portion, and the locking bolt being secured against movement into the release position when the securing element is located in the securing portion. The locking bolt has a longitudinal groove, in that the securing portion is formed with a securing depth in any event corresponding to a groove depth of the longitudinal groove and in that the securing portion is formed such that it is adjacent to the longitudinal groove in the circumferential direction, with a direct transition from a groove base into the securing position.

  • Patent number: 6718870
Abstract: The invention is concerned with a hand held hydraulic pressing apparatus (1) with a hydraulic cylinder (8), in which a hydraulically actuated piston can be displaced to carry out a pressing or cutting operation. The apparatus has a piston head (5) and a piston shank (16), the piston shank (16) being connected to a tool carrier (10). The tool carrier (10) is part of an inter-changeable apparatus head (9). In order to simplify to change the apparatus head, the invention proposes, that an interchangeable apparatus head (9) has in each case a piston shank (16) with a return spring (22).

  • Patent number: 6530312
Abstract: A press has two pressure levers connected with pressure plates which can be moved against one another by a driving motor. A control device acts upon the driving motor and permits different sequences of movement of the pressure levers during the pressing operation according to different operating programs. An operating program is provided for crushing cans and containers and another operating program is provided for extracting juice. In order to avoid faulty operations, the pressure plates are constructed for receiving different mounts for the various operating modes. At least one pressure plate is connected with a sensor which detects the type of mount and reports it to the control device. Despite an expanded application range, the operating of the press is simple because, for starting both pressing operations, the equipment operator actuates only one starting switch, the selecting of the operating programs taking place automatically, which ensures a high safety standard.

  • Patent number: 5520105
Abstract: A combination can crusher, juicer and slicer having a main housing with a vertically adjustable cutting blade holder or can holder and a ratcheted lever adapted to raise and lower a pressure plate into contact with either a can disposed in the holder or a cutting blade retained in the holder. Moving the pressure plate, which will vary depending on the operation desired, downwardly against a can disposed in the holder crushes the same. Moving the pressure plate downwardly against a mating cutting blade cuts a fruit or vegetable therebetween. Moving the pressure plate downwardly against a mating juicer assembly juices a vegetable or fruit disposed therebetween and juices the same.
