Flexibly Connected Patents (Class 100/114)
  • Patent number: 8544383
Abstract: A liquid separating device (1) for processing a mixture material (3) containing both solid and liquid materials (3a,3b), in order to separate liquid material (3b) from the solid material (3a), the liquid separating device (1) includes a support frame (5), a series of liquid separation assemblies (7a,7b) and a corresponding guiding assembly (19) between each pair of liquid separation assemblies (7). The liquid separation assemblies (7) are disposed about the support frame (5) in a cascading configuration, and the passage (13) of each liquid separation assembly (7) is narrower in width than the passage of a preceding liquid separation assembly (7) so that each subsequent liquid separation assembly (7b) is enabled to extract more liquid material via an increased wringing pressure resulting from a thickening of the remaining mixture material (3) to be processed and the narrower subsequent passage (13b) through which it is channeled and pressed.

  • Patent number: 6994021
Abstract: A press for pressing out substances containing liquids, especially agricultural and chemical products, includes a closed container whose inner area is divided by at least one press membrane into a pressure medium chamber and a pressing medium chamber. A fill/discharge opening, sealable by a lid, is disposed in the casing and is associated with a juice run-off located in the pressing medium chamber. Flexible or elastic liquid-permeable drainage elements are also disposed in the inner area of the container for removing juice. The drainage elements include at least one support element and a flexible tube disposed therearound and are of a juice-permeable material. The drainage elements are configured as single-pieced components and are detachably received on the container by holding devices, which are disposed on both sides of the container, each drainage element being able to be removed as a component from the inner area of the container.

  • Patent number: 5267509
Abstract: A novel filter bag assembly (10) which may be used in a press (12) for squeezing juice from fruit. The bag assembly facilitates the discharge of a press cake (PC) from within the bag when it is inverted. The bag assembly includes a bag (50) and an inner liner made from a plurality of flaps (64, 65, 66), there being at least two flaps on each of the wide sides (58, 60) of the bag, the flaps being arranged in a tiered fashion so that the lower edge of one flap will overlie the top edge of an adjacent flap. The bag assembly is utilized with a press having a plurality of press racks or plates (14) which are mounted for movement towards and away from each other and also for movement from an upright normal position to an inverted position, each rack carrying first mounting structure (68) on the top edge (14.1) of the rack, the bag assemblies being provided with second mounting structure which cooperate with the first mounting structure so that the bag assemblies may be supported by and between adjacent racks.
