Abstract: A molding apparatus comprises an upper molding box, a lower mold box, an upper flexible membrane covering an opening of the upper mold box, a lower flexible membrane covering an opening of the lower mold box, a heating system located in the upper mold box, a set of ports located between the upper flexible membrane and the lower flexible membrane capable of being used to draw a vacuum between the upper flexible membrane and the lower flexible membrane, and a displacement system located in the lower mold box under the lower flexible membrane.
Abstract: A multichamber press has press platens coupled in pairs and movable toward and away from a stray press plate supported on the upright of the press frame. The outer most press platens for synchronizing device for tilting, the synchronous device having pinions meshing on the upright and connected together with shifts which can be coupled by a further shaft and bevel gearing.
Abstract: The filter-press includes a framework having vertical guides. On the upper ends of the vertical guides is horizontally secured a stationary thrust plate. On the same vertical guides are horizontally mounted a movable pressure platen connected with a reciprocating drive and being capable of vertically moving along said guides, as well as filter plates and frames disposed above each other between the thrust plate and the pressure platen, with the frames being located each between the neighboring filter plates. Each filter plate has vertical side boards, a sieve fixed on the upper butt ends of the side boards and a sieve fixed on the lower butt ends thereof. Mounted on the side boards between the sieves is a horizontal partition dividing the inner space of the filter plate into an upper cavity and a lower cavity. Between said frames and filter plates is passed in zigzags an endless filter band connected with a stepping drive and running round each filter plate from above and from below.

Abstract: A garbage disposal unit is provided with a stationery compacting piston fixed at the upper end thereof and with a fixed receptacle member at the lower end thereof. A movable combination member adapted to act as both a receptacle and a compacting piston is mounted intermediate the fixed piston and the fixed receptacle. The disposal unit is thus capable of separately handling different types of garbage, with bottles, cans and the like being placed within the movable combination member to be compacted by upward movement thereof for compacting engagement with the upper fixed piston. Ordinary foodstuffs may be placed within the fixed receptacle at the bottom of the unit and movement of the combination member downwardly enables utilization of the combination member as a compacting piston for crushing garbage within the lower fixed receptacle.
