  • Patent number: 8462359
Abstract: A position measuring device includes a plurality of concave marks, a light source portion, a light receiving portion, and a concave portion measuring portion. The concave marks are formed on an external wall of an object to be a measuring target. Each of the plurality of the concave marks includes a plurality of concave portions disposed on a concentric circle with a preset concave mark central position to be a center of the concentric circle. The concave portions are provided so that densities of the concave portions become lower as distances from the concave mark central position become longer in each of the concave marks. The light source portion irradiates the object with an irradiating light. The light receiving portion receives a reflected light from the object, the refracted light being originated from the irradiating light. The concave portion measuring portion measures each three-dimensional position of the concave marks.

  • Patent number: 7099019
Abstract: A printer for receiving document data from a computer system and printing an interface onto a surface. The interface is based on the document data, which includes identity data indicative of at least one identity. The identity is, in turn, associated with a region of the interface. The interface also includes coded data. The printer includes a coded data generator configured to generate the coded data based at least partially on the identity data. A printing mechanism in the printer prints the interface onto the surface, including printing the coded data using an ink including an infrared-absorbing dye.

  • Patent number: 6921550
Abstract: The present invention provides a printer and an inexpensive method for producing a printed circuit board using a printer configured to facilitate printing at least directly on a copper-clad substrate. The method includes the steps of feeding a copper-clad substrate into the printer, printing an inverse circuit image on the copper-clad substrate, allowing the inverse circuit image to dry, metalizing the copper-clad substrate to adhere a resist mask to exposed, uninked copper to form a metalized circuit image, and etching the copper-clad substrate that has been metalized to remove copper that forms the inverse circuit image.

  • Patent number: 4041863
Abstract: A precision hand-held label imprinter and dispenser includes a compact case or frame with a projecting handle and an applicator roller located remote therefrom, together with a dialable imprinter and platen assembly arranged so that a trigger lever associated with the handle may be manually acutated in one direction to imprint label stock (tape) by driving the platen across an imprinter in an engaged condition to force the printing medium and label stock thereagainst and operates in the opposite direction to separate the imprinter and platen and to simultaneously advance the printing medium and to advance the printed label stock to the applicator roller. Through a series of connected drive elements with the trigger lever, the device times the several functions so that accurate reproductions with high resolution of the dialed imprint information on each label is assured.
