Abstract: In some examples herein, control data is for application of treatment fluid on a treatment substrate location surrounding a substrate dot corresponding to a first pixel of the digital image. Treatment fluid is ejected on the treatment substrate location if a metric value computed from pixel values of a set of pixels in the neighborhood of the first pixel is above a threshold level.

Abstract: A method, computer program product, computing system, and an automated test platform for testing at least one device under test includes a test head configured to receive the at least one device under test. A processing system is configured to: provide a voltage signal having a plurality of voltages to the at least one device under test, monitor a current flow into the at least one device under test during each of the plurality of voltages, thus generating a plurality of monitored current values that correspond to the plurality of voltages, and determine if one or more of the plurality of monitored current values exceeds one or more of a plurality of current thresholds.

Abstract: An image forming apparatus includes a head unit that moves in a predetermined scanning direction and on which a first nozzle which discharges first ink including a black color material, a second nozzle which discharges second ink having higher brightness than that of the first ink, and a third nozzle which discharges third ink having higher brightness than that of the first ink are arrayed in the scanning direction, and a control portion. The control portion is set to perform a conversion processing which sets a type and amount of the ink which is discharged from the head unit according to color data included in the image data and use the first ink, the second ink, and the third ink according to the color data of the darkest point in the conversion processing.
Abstract: The present invention reduces an uneven color of a color having two or more colors of inks, the uneven color occurring due to manufacturing variations of ink ejection nozzles and so on. Each of a plurality of correction tables that is assigned to each predetermined number of nozzles that are used for printing on a common region in the print medium, of a plurality of nozzle arrays formed on a print head, each of the nozzle arrays ejecting a plurality of inks including a first ink and a second ink whose color is different from the color of the first ink, is generated on the basis of at least an ink ejection property of nozzles ejecting the first and second inks.
Abstract: A method and an apparatus for compensating for inking differences between setpoint color values and actual color values in offset printing presses having at least one inking unit and a control computer. The control computer controls the printing speed of the offset printing press and the temperature control of rollers in the inking unit of the offset printing press. The control computer is set up in such a way that, if an inking difference is detected between the setpoint color values and the actual color values, a combined control operation including a change in the printing speed and the temperature in the inking unit is performed in order to compensate for the inking difference. A printing press having the apparatus is also provided.
Abstract: In an aspect, a first ink amount relating to the yellow ink is smaller than both a second ink amount relating to the cyan ink and a third ink amount relating to the magenta ink. In another aspect, a first total increase amount is larger than both a second total increase amount and a third total increase amount. The first total increase amount is a total increase amount of inks other than the yellow ink relating to a black yellow gradation. The second total increase amount is a total increase amount of inks other than the cyan ink relating to a black cyan gradation. The third total increase amount is a total increase amount of inks other than the magenta ink relating to a black magenta gradation. In another aspect, a first lowest brightness is lower than both a second lowest brightness and a third lowest brightness. The first lowest brightness is lowest brightness of color to be printed without using black ink on a black yellow gradation.
Abstract: A stencil printing ink container includes an ink container body. An ink charge port is provided in an end wall of the ink container body and an inner plug is mounted on the ink charge port. The inner plug is provided with an ink discharge port smaller in the outer diameter than the inner diameter of the ink charge port and gives an ink suction nozzle of an ink pump access to the ink discharge port.
Abstract: An ink regulating device that measures color in a web-fed rotary printing machine for printing a printing material web or sheets in a plurality of colors. The ink regulating device measures and evaluates the colors black, cyan, magenta, and yellow, and after general calibration (i.e., the recording of standard values), derives set values for the inking zone setting devices, without requiring any further patterns, and without the need for a special copy when the printing pattern is changed.

Abstract: An improved cartridge for dispensing highly viscous fluids in which the nozzle is recessed for ease of packaging, shipping and storing. The cartridge comprises a hollow cylindrical body, a plunger and a dispensing fitment. The cylindrical body holds a supply of extrudable fluid contents such as lithographic ink. The plunger serves as a pneumatically activated piston within the cylindrical body to extrude the contents of the cartridge. The nozzle has an open and a closed position. In the closed position the nozzle does not protrude beyond the top of the dispensing fitment. The dispenser may also include a detachable nozzle extension which, when attached to the nozzle, extends beyond the top of the fitment.

Abstract: An apparatus for applying ink to an image on an ink stamp. The apparatus comprises an ink-impregnated sponge having side walls that intersect at a first end, where an angle between the side walls is acute at the first end. The side walls are so curved that: (a) a user can see the first end while bringing the sponges into contact with the image; and (b) the likelihood that ink will be applied to an undesired portion of the image is decreased.
Abstract: A printing ink feeding assembly for an anilox roller uses a plurality of individual anilox inking units. Each unit has its own individual chambered doctor blade, ink trough, ink pump and drive motor. The widths of the units and their positioning beneath the anilox roller are variable to provide flexibility of anilox roller inking.
Abstract: An ink supplying mechanism has a plurality of flat ink containers each having an ink outlet tube for supplying ink outward. The ink outlet tubes are sealed by a sealing elastic coupling member to form a multi-color ink container. The ink cassette is removably connected to connecting tubes which lead to ink supply passages.
