Abstract: A system and method for securing adjoining walls without requiring the use of tools is disclosed. A plurality of walls may mate with each other through the use of grooves within each wall to sit flush with each other. A plurality of locking keys may be used to further secure the walls to each other. If disassembly is required, a user may quickly disassemble the present invention by removing the keys and reversing the steps taken to secure the walls to each other. The entire system may pack flat and be stacked once disassembled.
Abstract: There is described an image forming apparatus, which makes it possible to realize a high productivity in the booklet outputting operation. The apparatus comprises: an image data acquiring section to acquire consecutive image data, which include main content image data and at least a part of cover sheet image data succeeding the main-content sheet image data; an image forming section to conduct an image forming operation based on the main content image data and the cover sheet image data, acquired by the image data acquiring section; an image data presence-or-absence detecting section to detect a presence or absence of (i+1)th image data acquired by the image data acquiring section, wherein āiā represents a page number of image data sets necessary for forming cover sheet images on a cover sheet; and a control section to control the image forming section so as to commence the image forming operation.

Abstract: A proof press for the mounting of flexographic printing plates, comprising a printing cylinder, which is covered by a blanket for the mounting of at least one printing plate with double adhesive tape interposed, the printing cylinder being movable at right angles to its own axis in order to be placed in contact, along a generatrix, with a respective impression roller for performing proof prints, an optical system for collimating points of the impression roller with respective points of the printing plate by direct viewing, and a compression device for producing the forced adhesion of the printing plate to the double-adhesive tape and to the blanket.
Abstract: A printing method for printing an ink layer on a can barrel. The method includes picking-up a bright ink containing at least one bright pigment having an average particle size of from 5 to 25 &mgr;m selected from the group consisting of aluminum flake and fine particulate coated pearl pigment from an engraving roller, feeding the picked-up ink to a printing plate directly or via a rubber roller, and applying the ink on the printing plate to a can barrel via a blanket wheel.
