Abstract: Sheet goods having extremely long repeat lengths and tiles having a large number of different visual patterns are formed by printing two different print patterns having different repeat lengths. The two different print patterns are printed on two films that are laminated together, or on a substrate, or one print pattern on a substrate and one print pattern on a transparent or translucent film that is laminated to the printed substrate.

Abstract: A method of file preparation, ripping and plate making for high end graphics printed on cylindrical products utilizing Dry Offset printing presses. While utilizing two inverse angle techniques and one fixed angle on the Black, with virtually unlimited color pluralities, encompassing a majority of all open areas of the common printing blanket without any ink overlap. The nesting of the halftone dots at even coarse line screen rulings eliminating a dot rosette pattern and creating a continuous tone appearance. Print contrast is increased to that of offset printing quality and ink contamination over the course of the run length is virtually eliminated. This current invention also increases the ability to print white with colors as opposed to needing white coating done in advanced to transparent plastics and metallic surfaces.
Abstract: A high-power resistor comprises a plurality of resistor elements (1), made of sheets of an electrically conductive resistance material, with a first (13) and a second (14) terminal. The resistor elements are mutually separated by disc-shaped insulating first shims (2). Said first and second terminals are connected to adjacently located resistor elements so that the respective first terminals are connected to a first terminal and that the respective second terminals are connected to a second terminal. Two adjacent resistor elements form a current path, whereby, viewed in a direction perpendicular to the plane of the sheets, said first and second terminals, respectively, are so mutually positioned that, for a current supplied thereto, the current path in one resistor element substantially overlaps the current path in an adjacent resistor element and hence carries current in mutually opposite directions in the two adjacent resistor elements.
Abstract: The imprint printing system allows imprinter head changes on the run. A printing roller, either an offset or a flexo printing roller, has an axial channel in which one or more imprinter heads are disposed. The imprinter heads can be selectively raised out of the channel so that the print surface projects radially above the periphery of the printing roller. In a variation of the basic concept, the imprinter heads are also axially movable along the axial channel. The individual heads can thereby be brought into a printing section defined by the location at which the product is to be imprinted. The respective imprinter head is raised for printing only in the printing section, while the other heads are withdrawn into the channel.
