Abstract: A printing machine includes, like a gold blocking press, a printing plate mobile relative to an object support to apply to an object to be printed a foil appropriate to the required printing. The printing plate is curved when in contact with a support block mounted so that it can rock on an applicator head mobile transversely to the object support. Applications of the printing machine include printing on flat objects.

Abstract: A photo film cassette has a spool about which photo film is wound. A data disk is disposed near to an axial end of a core of the spool. To record a bar code on the data disk in manufacturing the photo film cassette, a hot stamping apparatus includes at least one spool holder for holding the spool in a slidable manner while the core is erect and the data disk is oriented upwards. A disk support supports the data disk. A slider shifts the disk support between a retracted position away from the spool holder and an advanced position close to the spool holder. The disk support in the advanced position is adapted to lift the data disk by contact with a bottom of the data disk. A hot stamping head is pressed against a top of the data disk, and records a bar code thereto. Cushion springs are biasing the disk support up toward the hot stamping head.
Abstract: A device for unloading metallized belts comprises a pair of parallel arms rotatably mounted respectively between each of two lateral side walls of the last station of the machine. The arms are connected to one another by crossbeams, which may accept support levers for small-diameter bobbins. Each arm has a base plate for supporting the ends of the axles for the large-diameter bobbins. The device includes an arrangement for rotating the sub-frame formed by the arms from the operating position to an extended position, which has a portion of the arms extending out of the downstream end of the machine to enable exchanging bobbins.
Abstract: An arrangement for transporting metallized belts or bands in a machine for transferring the metallized images from the belts or bands onto a sheet comprises a support for the belt supply bobbins, advance rollers for intermittent unrolling and advancing the belts, guide rollers for guiding the belts between the platens and then a discharge state around one of the platens of the press, a tension roller for placing the belts under tension and an arrangement for removing the worn belts from the machine. The advance rollers are arranged in a parallel group downstream from the platen press and slightly above a plane of transport for the sheets through the press. The machine includes at least one window provided in at least one of the lateral walls of the frame of the machine above this group of advance rollers so that an operator may easily obtain access to the rollers for replacement of the bands and/or adjusting the position of the bands.
