Patent number: 8689700Abstract: The invention relates to a device for handling banknotes comprising an input and output unit, a control unit, at least one money cassette, a reject cassette and a transport unit to transport the banknotes. In addition, a stock counter is provided that indicates the current quantity of banknotes in the money cassette. When an incorrect withdrawal occurs after at least one banknote is removed from the money cassette, the banknotes from this incorrect withdrawal are transported to the reject cassette. A reject counter is assigned to the money cassette that indicates the total number of banknotes removed from said money cassette and taken to the reject cassette, wherein the value of said reject counter is increased by the value of the banknotes transported to the reject cassette when the incorrect withdrawal occurs. A virtual auxiliary cassette is set up in the software of the control unit.Type: GrantFiled: August 13, 2012Date of Patent: April 8, 2014Assignee: Wincor Nixdorf International GmbHInventor: Hermann Hoeschen

Patent number: 7426889Abstract: A clamping device for coupling a transport device, for example a cabin, gondola, or a chair, to the hauling or traction cable of a cableway system. The clamping device contains two clamping jaws that can be moved toward one another or apart for coupling the clamping device to and uncoupling it from the hauling or traction cable. Exchangeable jaws, via which the clamping jaws act on the hauling or traction cable, are fastened to the clamping jaws. A bearing surface on the clamping jaws for the exchangeable jaws is curved concavely, and a counter surface on the exchangeable jaws has a corresponding curvature.Type: GrantFiled: November 4, 2005Date of Patent: September 23, 2008Assignee: Innova Patent GmbHInventors: Peter Luger, Bernd Meindl

Patent number: 5568771Abstract: A detachable grip of a gondola lift or chairlift has a movable jaw urged towards a fixed jaw by a pair of compression springs. The movable jaw is rigidly secured to one end of an operating lever, which pivots in a vertical plane containing the grip body to control the opening or closure onto the cable of the jaws. One end of the springs is secured near the free end of the operating lever, opposite to the movable jaw, and the other end of the springs is secured near the fixed jaw. The mutual distance of the spring ends near the fixed jaw is higher than the mutual distance of the spring ends near the the free end of the operating lever, so that the springs are twice inclined with respect to the grip body.Type: GrantFiled: August 23, 1995Date of Patent: October 29, 1996Assignee: Pomagalski S.A.Inventor: Max Brochand

Patent number: 5452662Abstract: A device for coupling a ferry, such as a gondola or chair, to the hoisting r load cable of an overhead cableway system includes a clamping body with rollers. A first clamping jaw is rigidly secured. A second clamping jaw can be swiveled relative to the first clamping jaw. The second clamping jaw is located on one end of a two-armed clamping lever on whose other end a control element, such as a cam roller, is provided. When the control elements cooperates with an actuator, such as a cam rail, the clamping lever is pivoted relative to the clamping body counter to the action of at least one torsion spring. That pivoting causes the second clamping jaw to reach its open position. A toggle joint or elbow joint is provided which connects the torsion spring with the clamping lever.Type: GrantFiled: March 28, 1994Date of Patent: September 26, 1995Assignee: Konrad Doppelmayr & Sohn Maschinenfabrik Gesellschaft m.b.H. & Co. Patent number: 5082538Abstract: A method and apparatus are disclosed for replenishing metal ions in an electrolyte depleted of the metal ions. A preferred example is replenishing tin in the electrolyte of an electrolytic tinning apparatus having an insoluble anode. The electrolyte thus becomes depleted of tin in the electrotinning process. The replenishment apparatus comprises an electrolytic cell including a tin anode, a cathode, and an electrolyte chamber for the tin anode and the cathode. The cathode is a gas diffusion electrode. An electrical circuit, usually having additional circuit resistance but free of connection to an external power source, connects the anode to the cathode. The electrolyte chamber has an electrolyte inlet, and an electrolyte outlet which is in flow communication with the electrolytic tinning apparatus. The gas diffusion electrode is exposed, on its gas side, to a source of gaseous reactant, e.g., oxygen.Type: GrantFiled: January 9, 1991Date of Patent: January 21, 1992Assignee: ELTECH Systems CorporationInventors: Donald L.
