Cam Patents (Class 104/224)
  • Patent number: 7324669
Abstract: Disclosed is an image processing apparatus in which the cheek of a person captured in an image of a photo may be corrected to a finish with the cheek looking slimmer than in a two-dimensional photo. A face correction unit (400) calculates, in a calculation unit (411), a face length L1 and a cheek width L2 of a face of a person as an object and L3 corrected from the face length L1. A face classifying unit (412) compares L2 and L3 to each other to classify the face shape into a ‘round shape’, ‘a long shape’ and a ‘square shape’. Depending on the results of classification, the image trimming is carried out by a first contour correction unit (413), a second contour correction unit (414), and a third contour correction unit (415) so that the cheek will look slim.

  • Patent number: 5864798
Abstract: Adjusting the shape of a spectrum of a speech signal includes the steps of using a first filter with pole-zero transfer function A(z)/B(z) for subjecting a speech signal to a spectrum envelop emphasis and a second filter cascade-connected with the first filter, for compensating for a spectral tilt due to the first filter, independently deriving two filter coefficients used in the second filter for compensating for the spectral tilt from the pole-zero transfer function, and compensating for the spectral tilt corresponding to the pole-zero transfer function according to the derived filter coefficients.

  • Patent number: 4653406
Abstract: A vise is constituted by a stationary jaw and a movable jaw, pivoted to each other, and suitable to be clamped onto a cable by means of the action of at least one spring. The stationary jaw is prolonged into a supporting pin for the vehicles, and the movable jaw is prolonged into a lever controlling its opening or closure onto the driving cable in cooperation with the stationary jaw. The spring acts between the supporting pin and the control lever to keep them open wide apart relative to the hinging axis of the jaws.

  • Patent number: 4441430
Abstract: Aerial monocable chairlift or gondola lift having detachable grips for coupling the chairs or gondolas to the continuously moving cable. Each grip, in the form of a plier, has a pair of jaws, the outer profile of the jaws being so designed that the grip passes on support sheaves, hold down sheaves and horizontal wheels in the station. The clamping coil spring is inserted between the ends of the plier levers and extends substantially parallel to the hanger bar articulated on the grip body. A grip operating roller opens the jaws at a platform in the station and the speed of the chair is reduced for loading and/or unloading of the passengers before the grip is again coupled to the cable.

  • Patent number: 4092929
Abstract: Transport installation comprising individual passive vehicles each equipped with a triple grip for coupling the vehicle to a main haulage cable extending along the track or to auxiliary haulage cables for instance acceleration and deceleration cables in a station. One pair of jaws of the grip is open when the two other pairs of jaws are in the coupling position and inversely. A change of cable operation is effected by a single control and the gauge of the grip is maintained small to permit its passing between the guide sheaves of the cables.
