Abstract: Systems and methods for towing a bagging machine are disclosed. The system includes a coupler connected to a hopper that is configured to raise and lower relative to a chassis of the bagging machine. The chassis has at least six wheels in contact with the ground that remain in contact with the ground when the coupler is attached to a towing vehicle hitch. The hopper raises to attach the coupler to the hitch and lowers to engage the hitch for towing, while keeping the wheels on the ground.
Abstract: The invention is directed to a traveling trolley, in particular a single-rail trolley having a compact height. A traveling trolley constructed in accordance with the present invention includes a supporting frame with running wheels that run on the bottom flange of a rail, a hoist arranged at the supporting frame, a lever member arranged at the axle of the driven running wheel so as to swivel or pivot, and a friction wheel supported at the free end of the lever member via an additional axle. The friction wheel and the driven running wheel are each coupled to a respective toothed wheel and these toothed wheels are driven by a driving unit. A spring element arranged between the lever member and the supporting frame urges the friction wheel into contact with the bottom flange of the rail.
Abstract: A motorless toy vehicle and propelling track. The toy vehicle includes a gear housing having a drive system, the drive system including a drive gear and a ratchet means for controlling the direction of rotation of the drive gear. The track is adapted to receive and laterally direct the toy vehicle as it passes there along and includes a rack coextensive with the track having upwardly disposed teeth there along which operably engage with the drive gear. A rack drive reciprocates the rack back and forth in the track interacting with the ratcheted drive gear to propel the toy vehicle in the direction determined by the position of the ratchet means. Hill and switch tracks are also provided.
Abstract: A robot carrier structure constituted by a portal wagon movable on rails and laterially supported by a pair of carriages each comprising a pair of wheels longitudinally coupled by motion transmission means actuated in synchronism by an electric motor. Further the two electric motors of the pair of carriages are so connected as to constitute an electric axis. Each wheel has a structure adapted to ensure a high adherence to the rail, particularly due to the provision of a pair of rings of elastomeric material engaging the rolling surface of the rail.
Abstract: A bridge truck assembly for cranes and the like is provided having at least two in-line wheels on a side engaging a trackway, a prime mover drivingly connected to one wheel and a pair of rotatable drive members engaging the circumference of both said in-line wheels on opposite sides of the center line between them and urged together into engagement with said wheels by resilient means.
