Abstract: A battery changing system includes a grasping assembly and an actuation assembly. The grasping assembly is configured to be disposed onboard a vehicle and to engage a battery box having one or more batteries disposed therein. The actuation assembly is configured to move the grasping assembly away from the vehicle toward the battery box. The actuation assembly also is configured to move the grasping assembly into engagement with a securing assembly of the battery box. The actuation assembly is configured to move the grasping assembly back toward the vehicle while the grasping assembly engages the securing assembly of the battery box to lift the battery box onto the vehicle.
Abstract: The running gear (1) for a rail vehicle comprises at least two wheel sets (3) mounted in wheel set bearings (2). The wheel sets have axles (4), wheels (5) and a chassis frame (6). The chassis frame (6) is provided with two longitudinal sole bars (7) and with at least one cross-member (8) located therebetween and connected to the sole bars (7) via at least two articulations (9). The sole bars (7) and the cross-member (8) are movable relative to one another on a plane which is parallel to the rail plane (&egr;), and the wheel set bearings (2) are connected to the cross-member (8) or to one respective cross-member (8) of the rail vehicle.
Abstract: A bogie with three wheel sets for a rail vehicle is described, in which the bogie has two end wheel sets (3) which are connected to a bogie frame (2) at their drive units by in each case at least one slanted link (1), and a center wheel set (12) is connected to the bogie frame by at least one longitudinal link (4) guided parallel to the longitudinal direction of the bogie frame (2). The end wheel sets (3), by in each case at least one transverse link (5a, b) and by a drive-unit extension arm (13) arranged in operative connection with the transverse link (5a, b), are connected to the drive unit of the center wheel set (12) in such a way that, during a transverse movement of the center wheel set (12), the end wheel sets (3) are coupled with the latter and that, during a turn-out movement of the end wheel sets (3), the latter are coupled in opposite directions.
Abstract: Single-axle running gear with movable independent wheels for articulated car transporter wagons. The running gear comprises a carrying frame (1), suspension springs (2) with vertical dampers (AV) mounted inside them, sliding shoes for supporting the running gear during the process of changing track gauge, suspension headers (4) with stabilizing arms (5), hanging suspension links connected to the suspension headers, and systems for guiding the running gear. The invention is useful for allowing the articulated car transporter platform wagons to be used on networks with two different track guages.
