The glyceride and fatty acid mixture can include one or more triglycerides, at least 1 wt % of one or more diglycerides, and at least 5 wt % of one or more fatty acids, based on the combined weight of the one or more triglycerides, the one or more diglycerides, and the one or more fatty acids. The asphalt binder can be made by combining a bitumen and a glyceride and fatty acid mixture. A paving composition can be made by combining a plurality of solids and the asphalt binder. A road can include a plurality of solids mixed with the asphalt binder.

The method of producing synthetic crude oil includes positioning a first heating enclosure adjacent to a heating surface, providing an oil forming composition within the first heating enclosure, positioning a lid over the oil forming composition, simultaneously applying pressure to the lid and heating the oil forming composition, cooling the oil forming composition to form a pre-volatile oil product, and heating the pre-volatile oil product while exposed to air to form the synthetic volatile fuel.

In another embodiment of the invention, the oil paint comprises at least one pigment, a complementary stabilizer, an emulsifier, a polymeric dispersant, a traditional stabilizer, optionally a wetting agent, and a drying oil.

A preferred additive composition consists essentially of 10-15 parts citrus terpene (D-limonene) and 85-90 parts vegetable oil, and an effective amount up to about 2 parts silicone oil, the parts in the composition totaling 100. When 0.5-1.0 parts of this composition are mixed with 99.0-99.5 parts liquid asphalt the resulting liquid asphalt composition is substantially free of characteristic asphalt odors, and other objectionable odors.

    Abstract: An improved anti-stripping additive for asphalt/aggregate composition used in constructing and repairing highways, pavements, driveways and parking lots consists essentially of a citrus terpene (4-isopropyl 1-methylcyclohexene) D-limonene mixed with a vegetable oil such as cottonseed oil, soya oil, rapeseed (canola) oil, peanut oil, corn oil, sunflower oil, palm oil, coconut oil, and palm kernel oil, etc. and a silicone oil dispersant. A preferred composition cosists essentially of 10-15 parts citrus terpene (D-limonene) and 85-90 parts vegetable oil, and an effective amount, up to 2 parts, of silicone oil, for dispersing the vegetable oil and terpene, the parts in the composition totaling 100. When 0.5-1.0 parts of this composition are mixed with 99.0-99.5 parts asphalt and 4-8 parts of the mixture are added to 92-96 parts of aggregate, the resulting asphalt/aggregate may be used as a hot-mix asphalt, hot-mix cold lay asphalt, slurry seal and precoat asphalt for paving.

Solvent is added and is mixed into the liquid, potential gel, until it becomes a solution. This cooled solution maintains the capabilities to gel, but gelling is then delayed until the solvent evaporates during use.
