Abstract: The invention relates to an ink set for ink jet recording comprising at least one “self-dispersion type pigment ink containing water and a pigment dispersible in water without a dispersing agent” and at least one “light-color resin-containing pigment ink containing water and a pigment made dispersible in water with a resin, wherein the concentration of the pigment is one-half or less the concentration of the pigment contained in the self-dispersion type pigment ink”. Also disclosed is an ink jet recording process for conducting ink jet recording using the ink set described above.

Also disclosed is an ink jet recording process for conducting ink jet recording using the ink set described above, wherein the resin-containing pigment ink contained in the ink set is used for paper exclusive to ink jet recording, and the self-dispersion type pigment ink contained in the ink set is used for plain paper.
Abstract: The present invention is directed to a 3DP™ material composition and method of use. The composition of the present invention includes an adhesive material, a fibrous component and a filler. Alternatively, the composition may include a particulate material having a mean particle size between about 10 microns and about 300 microns, a soluble adhesive material. The compositions may also include an accelerator and an additional adhesive.

Abstract: A flexographic preprint ink composition, which includes at least 3 weight percent of a pigment; at least 15 weight percent of a hydrolyzed gelatin; and water. The ink composition may also contain conventional additives, such as surfactants and defoaming agents, typically found in flexographic ink compositions. The flexographic ink composition can exhibit better heat resistance, mileage, strength, wet trap, foam resistance, drying, stability, and plate transfer than conventional flexographic inks which contain soy as a binder.
