  • Patent number: 7029526
Abstract: The invention pertains to the field of green color filters and LCDs. It has been found that pigments with surprisingly improved coloristic, chemical and physical properties are obtained by salt-kneading a halogenated phthalocyanine pigment together with a yellow pigment of the disazo condensation, barbituric acid or azoquinolone series. The process takes place in the presence of an organic liquid and in the absence of binder or optionally in the presence of a relatively small amount of binder. Claimed are the process itself as well as the green pigment composition obtained by the process and compositions comprising it.
