Abstract: A cement including: an alkali silicate; an organic silicate; a compound selected from a group consisting of Pozzolanic compounds and synthetic Pozzolanic substitutes; a metal oxide; an activator.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method of manufacturing an ocherous panel for use as an interior building material that has excellent insulating properties and that is superior to conventional building materials such as cement, concrete, rock wool and soundproofing boards in strength, fire resistance and soundproofing, and interior aesthetic appeal. The method according to the present invention is characterized in that it uses about 45 wt % of ocher, about 45 wt % of sawdust and about 10 wt % of sodium silicate liquid instead of the composition that was used in the prior art which caused contamination of the air and decomposition of the panel due to absorption of moisture in the air.
Abstract: Disclosed is a rigid fine-celled foam composition and a method of producing it. The foam composition is nontoxic, environmentally friendly, has improved absorption/adsorption and retention of liquids, is not as hard as prior art foams, does not include polymerization by-products detrimental to flower and plant life, and is a foamed mixture of a caustic silicate solution derived from the caustic digestion of rice hull ash having diffused activated carbon particles from thermal pyrolysis of rice hulls rather than from commercial sodium silicate solutions. Valuable by-products of commodity grade are obtained including activated carbon and sodium fluoride.

Abstract: A sprayable composition for use as a sealant or coating for various surfaces, especially concrete block walls, is disclosed which includes water soluble silicate, water, cellulose fibers, clay and limestone. The cellulose fibers enable the sealant to have a sprayable consistency and good thixotropy when the sealant composition is sprayed on a vertical surface or a ceiling. A method of using the sealant composition also is disclosed.

Abstract: Composite materials based on cement or gypsum materials reinforced by mixing with cellulosic fibers grafted with silylating agents. Processes for preparing these reinforced composites are also disclosed.
Abstract: A mixture of waste, essentially cellulosic material and a fire proofing solution can be used to make building materials with exceptional qualities. These qualities include fire proofing, vermin proofing, water proofing and excellent insulative values, for example. Additionally, this process represents an excellent method for recycle of these waste materials. A sheetrock-like or wall-board material can be made therefrom, one which can be nailed, screwed, drilled and fastened without causing serious damage to the surface or the element itself.
