Abstract: Portable grills are disclosed. An example portable grill movable between an erected configuration and a collapsed configuration includes a frame and a leg unit coupled to the frame. The leg unit includes a first leg, a second leg spaced apart from the first leg, and a support bar coupled to and extending between the first and second legs. The support bar further extends at an angle away from the first and second legs. The support bar is configured to contact an underlying surface to support the portable grill when the portable grill is in the collapsed configuration and oriented horizontally relative to the underlying surface. The support bar is further configured to provide a handle by which the portable grill can be hung when the portable grill is in the collapsed configuration and oriented vertically relative to the underlying surface.

Abstract: A table has a tabletop, a vertical support, and a mounting frame disposed at a top end of the vertical support and attached to the tabletop. The mounting frame includes a fixing base, a rotating frame rotatably connected to the fixing base, and a rotating handle assembly rotatably connected to the rotating frame. The rotating frame is operable to rotate between a horizontal position and a vertical position. The rotating handle assembly includes an abutting block that engages the lower embedding notch in the fixing base when the rotating frame is in the horizontal position. The rotating handle assembly has a lower edge that engages the upper embedding notch in the fixing base when the rotating frame is in the vertical position. A handle, which extends outwardly from the rotating handle assembly, is configured to be operated by a user to move the rotating frame between the vertical position and the horizontal position.

Abstract: A collapsible cooking device includes a central hub with a support surface positioned on one face of the central hub. A plurality of arm members are connected to the central hub. A plurality of leg members are further rotatably connected to the arm members and configured to nest within each of plurality of arm members. The entire device can fold in order to form a compact shape for travel and storage.

Abstract: The invention relates to a supporting frame with a lifting column (59) comprising telescopically arranged profiles with an upper and lower end, said upper end having a housing (60) secured thereto, and a base unit (61,62,63) with a compartment at least for partial reception of the lifting column housing (60) and a locking element (75), which when placed in a locked position exerts a squeezing force between the base unit (61,62) and the housing (60) of the lifting column (59). Thus, the housing (60) of the lifting column (59) is positioned and fixed in the base unit (61,62,63). The supporting frame further comprises means for retaining the locking element (78) in the locked position.

Abstract: “The Portable, Collapsible, Free-Standing Bar” is an improved portable and compact free-standing bar. Its distinctive features include its ease of assembly, stability, well-crafted finished-wood appearance, collapsible design, compact storage, and ease of transport and shipping. It can be assembled easily without tools, and is designed meticulously to minimize weight, maximize stability and portability, and minimize the space that it occupies when collapsed and stored. Abstract: A scissor-type banquet or event table comprises a tabletop removably coupled to and disposable upon a stand. The stand comprises a pair of leg frames pivotally coupled together at an intersection. The pair of leg frames comprise adjacent spars with each of the spars associated with a different one of the pair of leg frames. A safety spacer is disposed between the adjacent spars of the pair of leg frames and separates the adjacent spars. The safety spacer has a thickness so that the adjacent spars are spaced-apart by a gap greater than ¾? to resist pinching a user's fingers. In addition, the tabletop and the stand are coupled together with a snap-fit. The snap-fit comprises detents between the tabletop and the stand. Each detent is biased into a respective hole along an axis between the detent and the respective hole.

Abstract: A workstation has a main body with at least two support structures pivotally displaced about a vertical axis, and a platform removably affixed to the support structures. The support structures may alternate between an opened position and a closed position, where the structures may be spaced apart in the opened position and may abut one another in the closed position. The support structures are rotatably connected to a central post. The platform is configured to also connect with the central post when the support structures are in a closed position. Additionally, the platform has a plurality of recesses that connect with various inserts, and allow multiple platforms to be joined together.

Abstract: An example collapsible table is described. The collapsible table includes a table top including a top surface and a bottom surface. The collapsible table includes a supporting mechanism coupled to the table top and including a first support assembly and a second support assembly. Each of the first and second support assemblies can be to be disposed in an extended configuration and a collapsed configuration. In the extended configuration, the first and second support assemblies mechanically engage the table top to maintain the table top elevated at an extended height. In the collapsed configuration, the first and second support assemblies collapse to maintain the table top elevated at a collapsed height.

Abstract: A portable desk device for storing items and providing a workplace surface. The device includes a desktop having a circular shaped cutout in which objects can be placed. The cutout can be used as a drink holder or for storing items, such as writing utensils. The desktop can further include a storage compartment located beneath the desktop surface, wherein books, magazines, electronic devices, and the like can be stored. The device further includes a foldable frame that supports and removably attaches to the desktop. The frame includes a pair of U-shaped side rails having a pair of vertical legs connected by a horizontal rail. The U-shaped side rails are connected by a crossbar. The frame further includes a hinge disposed in the horizontal rails so to allow the frame to be folded in a compact configuration.

Abstract: A hunting seat includes a base coupled to a tube structure. The base has a first surface and a second surface. A seat has attached pivotally thereto an adjustment tube having a plurality of adjustment holes disposed within. The seat has a seating surface configured to support a person and a seat underside surface opposite to the seating surface. In a substantially flat ground use, the base is disposed with the first surface facing the seat underside surface and the adjustment tube disposed within and pinned to a tube of the tube structure. In a sloped ground use, the base is disposed with the second surface facing the seat underside surface and the adjustment tube pinned in a pair of brackets pivotally mounted to a section of the base. A method of operating a hunting seat is also described.

Abstract: An article of furniture includes a structure having a surface that supports a weight. The surface may be tiltable from a first position in which the surface is flat or substantially horizontal and a second position in which the surface is substantially vertical. At least one leg rotating mechanism may attach at least one leg of the article of furniture to the surface so that the at least one leg is rotatable about a vertical axis when the surface is tilted. In some embodiments, the article may be a table and the surface may be a tabletop. In other embodiments, the article may be a chair and the surface may be a seating surface of a seat.

Abstract: A table includes a board, a supporter, a pivot shaft and a lock mechanism. The supporter is disposed on the board. The pivot shaft is disposed on the supporter, and the board is rotatably disposed on the supporter via the pivot shaft. The lock mechanism is disposed between the board and the supporter. The board is switched between a first position and a second position. The lock mechanism fixes the board on the supporter when the board is switched to the first position, and the lock mechanism sets the board parallel to the supporter when the board is switched to the second position.

Abstract: This invention is related to the conservation of energy. The energy sources are limited and energy usage can cause environmental problems. This invention introduces a method of heating which is small and effective. In this method instead of heating the whole house which expensive and at times uncomfortable a limited heated space under a table means covered with a cover means is introduced that allows a person to warm up his/her body. Also, heating a smaller space can be done quickly and uses a limited energy, which is thus more cost-effective. This unit is designed to fold to a smaller unit for easy storage. In this method, an adjustable table means holds an electrical heating means under a cover and allows the person to use that limited space as heating source. The heating means has its control means and thermostat in order to keep the temp in a desired level. The table is very versatile and allows its dimensions to be changed easily so that the user has the option of choosing a size that fits its need.

Abstract: A foldable stool or table having hinges comprises a plurality of support members. In one embodiment, a foldable device comprises three legs. In another embodiment, the foldable stool or table comprises two foldable support members and two non-foldable support members. Relative to the top and bottom of the device, embodiments of the present invention may comprise one or more intermediately located steps or shelves, wherein the steps or shelves are located along at least one of the non-foldable support members. The one or more intermediately located steps or shelves may be forwardly-offset relative to a front surface of the non-foldable support members. A method of using the stool is also provided.

Abstract: A flip-type nesting table includes a frame, a tabletop that pivots between an operative position and a storage position and a hinge and latch assembly that controls the movement of the tabletop between the operative position and the storage position. The hinge and latch assembly includes a pair of hinge brackets that each mount to a rear cross-member. Each hinge bracket includes a front latch that engages a front cross-member to hold the tabletop in the operative position. A rear latch is operable to engage the rear cross-member to hold the tabletop in its upright, storage position. The hinge and latch assembly includes a pull handle coupled to a cross bar that can be used to simultaneously move the latch members to allow movement of the tabletop between the usage position and the storage position.

Abstract: To provide a usable workspace for use at tradeshows, conventions and similar events, a collapsible transaction table is uniquely designed to provide transportability and flexibility regarding its setup. In its collapsed condition, the transaction table itself is contained and thereby easily transportable. In its expanded condition, components are provided to provide a usable transaction table which preferably sits at a countertop height but with which also may be modified to further extend into a countertop configuration. To achieve the counter top configuration, a pair of transaction tables are coupled with one another utilizing specifically configured bridging elements to thus create a stable and usable countertop. The transaction tables themselves include a collapsible base unit and tabletop elements which are removably attachable to the base units in an interlocking manner to provide additional stability.

While maintaining the benefits of standard mechanisms, the mechanism of the present invention also achieves many benefits including improved table rigidity, an intuitively operable release mechanism, a single release action to release the mechanism from both a “use” and “folded” position, and spatially separated latches for the “use” and “folded” positions. Additionally the present invention provides a mechanism meets or exceeds government and industry standards while having a refined appearance.

Abstract: A table top with a flip mechanism has a frame of two spaced apart legs, each leg having two pivoting wheels, a spine connecting each leg, and a table top hingedly connecting to the spine for rotation off the center of the table. The spine and table top extend upon the longitudinal axis of the invention. The spine has generally two parallel spaced apart members. The table top hingedly connects to one member and rests upon the other member when the table top is flat. Lifting the table from a longitudinal edge opposite the hinges, the table top pivots upon the hinges and rotates about the spine until upright. The upright table is then parallel to the legs and occupies a minimum footprint. Alternatively, the legs have wheels for easy movement of the table.

Abstract: A foldable support system includes a sheet metal flange depending from a table and a sheet metal leg. A pivot pin extends through a slot in the flange and an aperture in the leg so that the leg may rotate and slide relative to the flange. The flange includes a bent tab which extends toward and beyond the leg and the leg includes an arcuate cut out channel having a mouth at a side edge of the leg and a cut out receptacle at its inner end. Abstract: A sturdy collapsible wooden TV/sofa table for use with a chair, couch or sofa, comprising of a foldable tabletop and folding t-shaped leg supports. The foldable tabletop comprises of two coplanar pieces mounted together by two hinges. One of the coplanar portions is a great deal smaller than the other thus allowing for the tabletop to fold into a parallel position against its leg supports when in the collapsed form. The leg supports are also mounted pivotally to each other by two hinges. One leg is mounted perpendicular to the tabletop piece while the other is hinged lengthwise to the middle of the longer portion of the tabletop and folds parallel to it when in the collapsed position. The movable hinged leg is designed to hold the tabletop in the upright position when in use, where it is fastened to a finger latch located underneath the tabletop. The finger latch keeps the leg from moving from its t-shaped position while in the upright position.

A lip portion extending horizontally outwardly from the top wall when the stool is in its upright condition is in contact with the upper edges of each of the side walls and end walls to support any weight put on the stool along the entire top edges of these side walls and end walls.

Abstract: Folding furniture is herein described which generally comprises two planar members hinged about contiguous edges thereof. One member may be generally uninterrupted in its planar extension while the other may be cut to form various structural support members. The second member is formed with two opposed faced, generally C-shaped members which are hinged to the second member. The C-shaped members are swingable outwardly to support the first member in a horizontal plane as well as to support the entire structure in an operational posture as a desk or table.

Abstract: A rectangular body portion is hinged along its end edge by first hinges to the bottom of a pull-out table end leaf and is movable from a position parallel with the leaf to a position normal to the leaf. A pair of U-shaped support legs which serve as slides for connecting the end leaf to an extension table are hinged to opposite side edges of the body portion and are separately pivotal from a common plane parallel with the body portion to positions at acute angles with the body portion and have latches thereon for interlocking engagement with latch plates to hold the U-shaped support legs in position to support the table leaf as a separate assembly. A portion of the top of the table end leaf is hinged to pivot upward and be locked in the raised position by a bracket to form the back of a child's bench.

Abstract: Basin apparatus for use in a hospital including a wheeled transport and a portable disposable basin. The basin is disposable and made of lightweight material which serves also as insulation. The basin has at least two separately molded sinks and having a flange along a rim of the sinks to seat the sinks on a horizontal upper rim of the wheeled transport. The flange of the sinks is provided with apertures and recesses for holding various shaped containers and hospital utensils. In the preferred embodiment, the wheeled transport includes a frame having a rotatably attached shelf wherein the frame is collapsible for convenient storage. Preferably, the sinks are fabricated of molded styrofoam and are sterilized.

Abstract: A foldable furniture unit includes a foldable base framework provided by a plurality of generally U-shaped support members; each including a horizontal cross-piece joined at opposite ends to vertically disposed leg sections. Each leg section of each support member is adjacent to and substantially vertically aligned with a leg section of a different support member to provide a plurality of spaced-apart, double-leg section supports; and connectors rotatably join together the double-leg sections of each of the supports. Preferably, the foldable base framework is employed in a table having a top that is removably connected through retainers to horizontal cross-pieces of more than one U-shaped support member.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a desk having a frame and a lid hinged to the frame. A box removably positioned within the frame is covered by the lid and provides storage and a transportage container for books and the like. A snap-on hinge formed from resilient material and suitable for securing the lid of the desk to the frame of the desk is also disclosed.
