Abstract: A dismantlable table includes a tabletop that is fastened by a fastening component to a structure forming a frame, the structure having a lip that lies flat under the tabletop. Each fastening component includes a latch that is rotatable about a vertical axis, having at least one laterally protruding boss, and includes a recess formed under the tabletop that has at least one protrusion facing the axis. In a mounting position, the bosses pass into the recess next to the protrusions, and in a locking position following rotation, the bosses fit above the protrusions, a lower bearing plane of the latch lying under the lip of the structure.

Abstract: A mobile and height adjustable bucket system (1) for decorative or protective liquids such as paints and the like made up of a bucket (2) detachably mounted on a height adjustable stand (3) and a toolbox (4) for holding tools which can be attached to the bucket (2), the stand (3) being adjustable as required by a user using a telescopic pole (17) to position the bucket (2) at a desired working height.

Abstract: Laboratory table with front and opposite rear frame parts, has replaceable tabletop elements positionable thereon. In a first variant, the laboratory table further has detent openings at regular distances on the front and/or rear frame parts, defining a modular grid. Each opening can receive a detent bolt of a modular tabletop element, each element having at least two detent bolts for the insertion into one of the detent openings. In a second variant, each tabletop element has at least one detent opening on a front and/or rear side of the tabletop element, for insertion of a detent bolt. The front and/or rear frame part of the laboratory table have detent bolts arranged at a regular distance defining a modular grid, each one of the detent bolts being for insertion into one of the detent openings of the tabletop elements positioned on these front and rear frame parts.

Abstract: An overhead slatwall mounting bracket that has an anchoring surface and a biasing surface. The anchoring surface attaches the mounting bracket to a generally horizontal installation surface. The biasing surface may either define or provide one or more elongate slots. The mounting bracket is capable of securely supporting slatwall accessories that include one or more cantilever tabs. Each cantilever tab of the slatwall accessory may be inserted into one of the one or more elongate slots and thereby mount the slatwall accessory to the mounting bracket. The invention provides a means to suspend, mount or temporarily affix the tabbed slatwall accessory from an overhead or horizontal surface by insertion and subsequent rotation of the one or more cantilever tabs extending from the slatwall accessory into the one or more elongate slots.

Abstract: Portable furniture items including a support structure and a top member selectively coupled to the support structure. The support structure includes first and second supports. The first support includes a leg having a ground end and a waist extending from the leg opposite the ground end. The waist has an upper end opposite the ground end and defines a first notch proximate the upper end. The second support includes a leg having a ground end and a waist extending from the leg opposite the ground end. The waist of the second support has an upper end opposite the ground end and a lower end opposite the upper end and defines a second notch proximate the lower end. The first notch and the second notch are complimentarily configured to enable the second support to matingly couple with the first support.

Abstract: A modular support assembly generally comprising vertical support members and a horizontal support member, such as a shelf, for supporting objects. The horizontal support member includes a main panel portion and flange portions connected along the sides of the panel for fortifying same. The vertical support members have cavities on their inner surfaces, and the horizontal support members have protrusions at their ends corresponding to the cavities. In some embodiments, the flanges are hingedly connected to the panel such that they pivot between a flat position and a supporting position perpendicular to the panel. In certain embodiments, the protrusions are integrally formed with extend out from the flanges. In some embodiments, the assembly is blow-molded article.

Abstract: A kit for modular assembly of a piece of furniture “in situ” that comprises lower, intermediate, and upper main support members. Each of the main support members includes insertion slots with chamfered edges that are oriented at different angles in the periphery. The lower main support member has first and second foot slots that include locking ends. A plurality of cantilevered members having open insertion slots with chamfered edges each have a front fit-in section and a rear insertion section that end in an insertion stop. The open insertion slots are disposed in the periphery of the cantilevered members so that they may engage the oriented insertion slots. The first and second foot members are configured to engage first and second foot slots. The main support members have mutual engagement means that include coupling members and fastening openings for structural assembly of a piece of furniture.

Abstract: To provide a usable workspace for use at tradeshows, conventions and similar events, a collapsible transaction table is uniquely designed to provide transportability and flexibility regarding its setup. In its collapsed condition, the transaction table itself is contained and thereby easily transportable. In its expanded condition, components are provided to provide a usable transaction table which preferably sits at a countertop height but with which also may be modified to further extend into a countertop configuration. To achieve the counter top configuration, a pair of transaction tables are coupled with one another utilizing specifically configured bridging elements to thus create a stable and usable countertop. The transaction tables themselves include a collapsible base unit and tabletop elements which are removably attachable to the base units in an interlocking manner to provide additional stability.

Abstract: A stand suitable for elevated support of water heaters and similar objects is disclosed. The stand includes a planar, rectangular tabletop formed and stamped from sheet-like material, and being further formed with downwardly bent marginal side flanges. The tabletop is supported by two pairs of oppositely disposed leg members, which are also stamped from sheet-like material. Each leg member is formed with a longitudinally extending flat central portion and oppositely positioned coextensive angularly bent flange portions. The surface of each leg flange mates with an adjacent facing surface of a respective surface of a respective one of the downwardly depending tabletop flanges. The stand further includes a cruciform arrangement of overlapping crossbars.

Abstract: A picnic table includes at least two leg units, a crossbar, a table top and two benches. Each leg unit includes two J-shaped legs. Each J-shaped leg includes a table top support portion formed thereon, a bench support portion formed thereon, and a recess defined in the table top support portion. The crossbar is located between the leg units. The table top includes planks and tubes for supporting the planks. The table top is supported on the table top support portions while the tubes are received in the recesses. Screws are used to secure the crossbar to the legs, secure the table top to the table top support portions, and secure the benches to the bench support portions.

Abstract: The novel stand described and claimed herein has been found to be suitable for elevated support of water heaters and similar objects. A preferred embodiment of the stand may comprise a planar, rectangular tabletop formed and stamped from sheet-like material, and is being further formed with downwardly bent marginal side flanges. The tabletop is preferably supported by two pairs of oppositely disposed leg members, which are also stamped from sheet-like material. Each leg member is formed with a longitudinally extending flat central portion and oppositely positioned coextensive angularly bent flange portions. The surface of each leg flange mates with an adjacent facing surface of a respective surface of a respective one of the downwardly depending tabletop flanges. The stand further includes a cruciform arrangement of overlapping crossbars, of which opposite end thereof include means for detachable securement to an oppositely disposed one of said pair of leg members.

Abstract: A television table which can be assembled and disassembled without tools is provided. The television table unities a first connecting body and a second connecting body mounted between a tabletop and a pedestal. The first connecting body includes at least one fixing pillar extending therefrom. The second connecting body includes at least one slot. The slot has a proximal edge for allowing the head section to be inserted therethrough and a clamping edge for tight-fitting the fixing pillar. Also, a fixing pin passes through fixing holes of the tabletop and the two pedestals to avoid the tabletop sliding laterally respective to the pedestals and make a connection of the tabletop and the two pedestals firmly.

Abstract: Plug joint system and method of use are described for collapsible furniture. This new type of furniture joinery results in furniture which can quickly and easily be assembled, disassembled, transported, stored and reassembled. The joint comprises a tapered plug, a square hole at the top end of one furniture part for receiving the plug, and another furniture part with an opening through which the first furniture part is inserted. Each corner of the square hole has a vertical relief cut, allowing the four sides to expand outward when the plug is driven into the hole, securely fixing the two furniture parts together. The plug can easily be dislodged from the square hole by applying pressure from the bottom of the hole.

Abstract: A table assembly (10), including a removable table top (12) having respective generally flat main surfaces (14, 16), and a supporting structure (18) for the table top (12), the supporting structure (18) including at least two frames (20) each having two upright legs (22) connected by at least one substantially horizontal member (24, 26), whereby the table top (12) rests on the upright legs (22). The frames (20) are mutually articulated about a vertical axis (32) by coupling the horizontal members (24, 26) at a position intermediate their respective ends (34, 36), such that the frames (20) pivot about the vertical axis (32) with respect to each other between an expanded position for supporting the table top (12) and a collapsed position for storage. In some forms of the invention, positive engagement between the table top and the supporting structure stabilise the supporting structure in the expanded position and prevents accidental collapsing of the table assembly.

Abstract: A tabletop attachment system includes a first body and a second body mounted between a wooden tabletop and a wooden pedestal. The first body includes a first body member having a first side for mounting on the pedestal and a second side including at least one detent extending therefrom. The second body includes a second body member having a first side for mounting on the tabletop and a second side, and at least one slot extends therethrough. The slot has a proximal edge for allowing the second detent section to be inserted therethrough and a distal edge for tight-fitting the detent. The tabletop has a groove for allowing the second detent section to mutually contact with and tight-fit in an end of the groove.

Abstract: An article of furniture comprises a horizontal planar member, and a support member for supporting the horizontal planar member. A connection system releasably secures the horizontal planar member to the support member. The connection system comprises a plurality of arcuate guide grooves on a bottom surface of the planar member and radially disposed about an axis of rotation, and a plurality of locking projections projecting from a top of the support member in positions corresponding to the plurality of guide grooves. The plurality of locking projections are configured to be received in the plurality of guide grooves and moved in the plurality of guide grooves between an insertion section of the groove and a locking section of the groove in response to relative rotation between the planar member and the support member about the axis of rotation.

Abstract: An adjustable table and base assembly generally comprises a table portion and a base portion. The adjustable table and base assembly may be alternately assembled in a first configuration wherein legs of the table portion are positioned on top of legs of the base portion, or in a second configuration wherein side edges of the legs of the table portion are positioned adjacent side edges of the legs of the base portion. In this way, a user of the adjustable table and base assembly receives a benefit of a single piece of furniture serving multiple purposes. A shelf positioned on the base portion allows a user to store and/or display various articles using the adjustable table and base assembly.

Abstract: An article of furniture comprises a horizontal planar member, and a support member for supporting the horizontal planar member. A connection system releasably secures the horizontal planar member to the support member. The connection system comprises a plurality of arcuate guide grooves on a bottom surface of the planar member and radially disposed about an axis of rotation, and a plurality of locking projections projecting from a top of the support member in positions corresponding to the plurality of guide grooves. The plurality of locking projections are configured to be received in the plurality of guide grooves and moved in the plurality of guide grooves between an insertion section of the groove and a locking section of the groove in response to relative rotation between the planar member and the support member about the axis of rotation.

Abstract: A tabletop attachment system includes a first body and a second body mounted between the tabletop and the pedestal of the desk. The first body includes at least one detent extending therefrom, with the detent including a connecting portion and an engaging portion extending from the connecting portion. The second body includes at least one slot, with the slot having a first end for allowing the engaging portion to be inserted therethrough and a second end for reception of the connecting portion. The connecting portion moves oppositely to engage the second end of the slot.

Abstract: A portable seating device is provided in the form of at least two horizontal planks having respective coupling ends along which such members may be joined. The underside surfaces of these planks are provided with vertical support containment means. Such vertical support containment means serve to contain and localize the upper end of a central vertical support placed against the underside surfaces of the two horizontal seating members, overlapping their connected coupling ends. A preferred central vertical support is a tapered pail or bucket which may or may not have its carrying handle removed. Additional vertical supports may be provided to underlie further portions of the underside surfaces of the horizontal planks, deployed symmetrically on either side of the central vertical support and similarly localized against the underside surfaces.

Abstract: A novel pillar is provided. The pillar having a longitudinal axis and first and second ends, an outer skin, an extruded support structure disposed within the outer skin, with the support structure including multiple cells arranged along the longitudinal axis for support of longitudinal loads, and a tension bar disposed at least partially within the extruded support structure. The outer skin and extruded support may include structural plastic, and the extruded support structure may be separately insertable into the outer skin. However, in an alternative embodiment the outer skin and extruded support structure are co-extruded as a single monolithic piece.

The top member is provided with a receiving means for releasably receiving the engaging means of the support leg to releasably secure and support the top member on the support legs.

Abstract: A table assembly has a table plate, a pair of leg devices, and a plurality of fastening clamps. The table plate has two pairs of spaced recesses, and a plurality of grooves. Each leg device has a U-shaped rod, two posts, two first link bars, two second link bars, and two support plates. Each support plate is inserted into the corresponding recess, and is formed with two oblong holes aligned with the corresponding grooves Each of the fastening clamps has an oblong plate and two arm plates. The arm plates are extended through the corresponding oblong holes of the support plates and are inserted into the corresponding grooves of the table plate.

Abstract: A table having a base including legs, first and second table top portions that form a table top surface when the table is in the assembled position, and pivotable connectors that connect the first and second table top portions to the base. The pivotable connectors allow for the first and second table top portions and the legs to collapse into a vertical position such that the table can be easily stored and carried. The table top is supported when it is in assembled position by a variety of devices such that the table top will not flex or deform. Pivotable connections are also provided between the legs allowing the legs to form a crisscross pattern when the table is in the assembled position.

Abstract: A display table has a twin sheet thermo-formed base having recesses in its top surface at the ends which receive the lower ends of legs which support a tray above the base. The recesses and lower ends of the legs are tapered to result in an interference fit between the legs and the recesses and the recesses include a flange which extends inwardly and which supports the lower ends of the legs from below. The lower ends of the legs extend through and beyond the flange and define an upwardly facing shoulder which catches behind the flange, on the lower side of the flange to hold the legs and the base together. Lower and upper ends of the base each have a gusset which extends inwardly and abuts the upper surface of the base at the lower end of the legs and the lower surface of the tray at the upper end of the legs. The gussets fit into similarly shaped recesses in the respective base and tray. A tapered snap fit connects the upper ends of the legs to the tray and a partition is provided in the tray.

Pairs of tubular steel legs rigidly yet detachably engage the associated ends of the tubular bench top support members. Foot members are rigidly yet detachably engaged with the bottom ends of the leg members to enable height adjustment. Transversely extending tubular members rigidly yet detachably engage the confronting surfaces of the laterally spaced top support members by quick-connect/disconnect fastener elements to maintain their parallelism. An auxiliary shelf may be rigidly yet detachably mounted on the workbench by an auxiliary shelf support framework supermimposed over the workbench and secured thereto by quick-connect/disconnect fastener elements.

Abstract: An apparatus is provided for holding objects at a convenient height on a device such as an equipment stand or a tripod. A tray with an opening is placed over a stand and lowered until the inner sides of the opening engage the sides of the stand. The tray and its opening can have different sizes and shapes, according to the type of stand, the intended use, and the objects to be held.

Abstract: A demountable component table system to improve handicapped access to standard proportioned furnitures common to public places. A table top component has symmetrically positioned cut-outs for foam rubber covered, demountable flexible steel rods to pass from their frame component sockets upwards to the area above the top component where they provide upper body and arm support for occupant utilization and management of the cubic space above the table top. Frame mounted rods with Velcro attachments and a vertically mounted rigid tubular pole which inserts through the table top component into its socket mount in the table frame allow for customized positioning of objects in the cubic space above the top. The front side edge of the top component is cantilevered towards the occupant's chest. Varied types of demountable legs allow for height adjustment in inch increments.

Abstract: Presented herein is lightweight furniture that is designed to be decorated with cloth or fabric. The decoratable furniture provides for removable ultimate fabric decoration of the furniture. The furniture has a body that attaches to a leg arrangement. The body has at least one flat surface, a top surface, and an edge structure located about the perimeter of the top surface. The edge structure has a cloth receiving channel into which cloth, or fabric, may be inserted and removably, yet securely, held in place. Thus, the fabric may be easily removed for cleaning or changing.
