Abstract: The invention is a wheeled folding tray cart and method. The wheeled folding tray cart comprises a collapsible wheeled framework pivotally supporting a set of split shelves, each split shelf comprises a pair of half shelves. The wheeled folding tray cart moves between an open operating position wherein the set of split shelves are held in spaced-apart, stacked, horizontal orientation within the collapsible wheeled framework and a closed storage position wherein the collapsible wheeled framework is collapsed in manner to move each half shelf pair into an accordion-like, inverted “V”-shaped or accordion like configuration. An extension coiled spring attached to the collapsible wheeled framework assists in the movement of the wheeled folding tray cart between open operating position and the closed storage position. A sheath encloses at least a portion of the spring to provide resistance to the spring's movement to limit potential operator exposure to pinch injuries.

Abstract: A shelving unit includes a plurality of posts, a plurality of shelf-supporting beams attached to the plurality of posts to form a shelf support frame, and a shelf. The shelf has a plurality of sides seated on the shelf support frame. The plurality of the sides of the shelf includes a depending flange. At least one of the depending flanges extends downwardly along a respective shelf-supporting beam between about 30% and about 100% of the height of the shelf-supporting beam. Another shelf unit is further disclosed where the shelves include a color that corresponds to a color-coded system for organizing the storage of items on the shelving unit. A method of organizing a shelving unit utilizing the color-coded shelf system is also disclosed.

Abstract: A foldable shelf may comprise a main body having two vertical connecting rods respectively located at middle portions of two sides of the main body at corresponding positions, and four vertical legs are respectively assembled at four corners of the main body to support at least two pairs of rotatable shelf boards therebetween. Each of the connecting rods has a connecting member coupled on an inner edge thereof, and each of the connecting members is pivotally connected to a V-shaped connecting rib. The foldable shelf further comprises two operating ribs at the top portion thereof. A user can pull the operating ribs upwardly to drive the pairs of the shelf boards to be folded together and drive the legs at two lateral sides of the main body to move toward each other, thus completing the folding process easily and quickly.

Abstract: A plant growing apparatus of a hydroponic and/or aeroponic plant growing system includes a support assembly and a pair of height control mechanisms. The support assembly includes a bottom platform, supported and mobilized by corner caster wheel devices, and top and intermediate platforms, vertically spaced apart from one another and the bottom platform by upright corner posts rigidly affixed at the corners of the bottom platform. The intermediate platform may be manually raised or lowered along the posts. The height control mechanisms are concurrently operable to raise or lower the top platform along the posts. In addition to the plant growing apparatus, the plant growing system also includes light modules supported by the top platform, plant grow cells supported by the intermediate platform below the light modules, and a water reservoir and pump on the bottom platform and connected in communication with the plant grow cells and height control mechanisms.

Abstract: An apparatus includes a large server storage frame including a base, a ceiling and supports that are supportive of the ceiling above the base and separable from one another by a variable distance, first and second brackets disposable at variable vertical positions along first and second ones of the supports, respectively, and a turnbuckle assembly including an extendible member and first and second connectors connected to first and second ends of the extendible member, respectively. The first and second connectors are rotatably connectable to the first and second brackets, respectively, and the extendible member is extendible such that the first and second connectors reach the first and second brackets with the first and second brackets respectively disposed at the variable vertical positions.

Abstract: Asymmetrical joint systems, structures having interlocking joints, methods of fabricating asymmetric joint systems and methods for fabricating structures having interlocking joints. In a preferred embodiment, the invention is a structure that incorporates a rotational diamond-shaped bracing system. In another preferred embodiment, the invention is a method of assembling such a structure.

Abstract: A portable support structure including a platform member having a primary platform connector and a secondary platform connector. The primary platform connector is configured to receive a primary support connector. The secondary platform connector is configured to receive a secondary support connector. The support structure also includes a primary support member including the primary support connector and a hook member. In addition, the support structure includes a secondary support member having a first end and a second end. The first end is detachably engaged with the secondary platform connector and the second end is in locking engagement with the hook member. The primary support connector includes structures that engage the primary platform connector and rotationally position the primary support member. The hook member includes a hook portion that engages and prevents the secondary support member disengaging upon a rotation of the secondary support member.

Abstract: A shelving unit that comprises shelves that are interconnected without fasteners to form a free standing piece of furniture, having a base shelf and at least one additional shelf, a plurality of spaced apart elongated mutually parallel slots disposed transversely in the rear edge of each of said shelves intermediate the first and second ends thereof, at least one brace-receiving slot disposed in the rear edge of the base shelf, a plurality of support members, each having front and rear edges, a plurality of elongated mutually parallel slots disposed in the front edge of each of said support members, whereby the slots in the support members are sized and adapted for interlocking engagement with corresponding slots in the shelves, at least one brace-receiving slot in the rear edge of each of said support members and at least one brace member having ends that are respectively adapted to be disposed in the brace-receiving slot of the base shelf and the support member.

Abstract: A shelf assembly is proposed which can be taken apart and which has shelves (1) and rods (2) disposed for supporting the shelves in a nearly horizontal position. Cables (3) are provided to tension the rods (2) with the shelves (1) to fix the position of the rods (2) with respect to each other and of the shelves (1) relative to the rods (2). In addition, an attachment device is provided for connecting the cables (3) to the rods (2) in a detachable manner.

Abstract: A portable table consists of four flat planar pieces that can be assembled and disassembled without fasteners, but which may include optional fasteners. The portable table consists of a pair of pedestals, each having a vertical slot from a top edge to a certain depth; a central brace member lying in a plane perpendicular to the width of the pedestals and having angled slots at about 80 degrees from the horizontal that mate with the slots in the pedestals so that the two pedestals are slightly inward leaning from their bottoms to their tops. The top edges of the pedestals and the central brace member lie in a single plane. A table top includes channel members in a bottom surface that mirror the top edges of the pedestals and the central brace member and mate therewith to provide a simple and sturdy portable table that is easily stored.

Abstract: A liquid phase composition for topical application to wood or other articles serves as a sealant and protective finish. The composition comprises paraffin wax dispersed in mineral oil and an extender, preferably, wood alcohol or ethanol, and optionally, relatively small amounts of additives including colorants, fragrance components, UV light absorbers, and so on. Thickeners and a solubilizing agent such as a volatile, low viscosity silicone may be added to produce a creamy form. The liquid composition is topically applied to wood or other articles by means of a fine wiping cloth or a fine bristle brush. Little or no buffing is required. Once applied, the composition imparts a non-greasy, rich luster to the surface of an article (e.g. wood furniture).
