Abstract: A computer desk may be utilized with computer keyboard terminal equipment or other devices requiring manual manipulation by a user. The desk permits the efficient support of such devices without sacrifice of the desk top working surface available to the user. The computer desk provides a support surface immediately below the work surface on the desk top. This support surface extends toward the desk-user a greater distance than does the desk top work surface. Thus, there is no interference between the desk top work surface and the user's access to equipment emplaced upon the support surface. An extension of the support surface to the side provides additional support areas for associated computer devices or the like without sacrifice of desk top work surface area. Storage areas beneath the desk top work surface and the support surface are provided to store materials and devices of use to a user of the computer desk.

Abstract: A lap board holder is provided for use with a video game control unit such as that sold under the trademark Atari and commonly called a joy-stick control; the holder comprises a base which rests on the player's legs, a shelf on which the player can rest his or her hands, and structure joining the base and shelf in such manner that the control unit is held tightly between them. Also provided is a video game control unit which embodies the critical features of the lap board holder. The invention allows operation of the video game for extended time with improved control and greatly reduced hand and arm fatigue.
Abstract: A tray-like structure is proposed for use in such as a restaurant for presenting a credit card slip to a customer for signature, the structure comprising a flat broad thin body having shallow rectangular recesses in the flat upper surface thereof to receive the credit card and the credit card slip in adjacent disposition with their left lateral edges in rectilinear alignment so that the specimen signature on the card is adjacent the signature on the signed credit card slip. Each recess or a part thereof has a depth which reduces to zero at one edge, the part may be a ramp at a corner of the recess. A pen recess, also having reducing depth towards one end, finger gripping recesses in opposed lateral edges of the tray, and a further recess opening into an edge of the body for receiving documents therein, may also be provided.
Abstract: A portable tray for use in various activities such as study or games is disclosed. The tray includes an accessory bag located beneath the center portion of the tray, with a hinged cover which folds flat with the main portion of the base. Hinged legs are provided on the under side of the tray to provide support during use. The sides of the base are curved outwardly toward the user to increase the adjacent usable tray surface. A detachable light is conveniently mounted on the rear of the tray.
Abstract: A horizontal completely and freely rotatable seat about a central vertical axis, which seat has a central cylindrical socket portion having a lower larger bearing and an upper smaller bearing for a correspondingly shaped hollow bell-shaped plug with depending leg means for supporting said seat for free rotation about the plug. The bearings may be of antifriction plastic and anchored to the socket in the seat. The seat may comprise a hollow torus or donut-shaped container with a correspondingly shaped cover removably held on said container by a pair of diametrically spaced slip-cords. The slip-cords also may be used for holding the removable plug and leg means and for attaching a shoulder strap and/or belt clip for carrying the seat in its knocked-down or collapsed condition. The plug and leg means may comprise collapsible tripod legs with removable, replaceable and/or telescopic feet to best fit the surface upon which they are to rest and support the seat.
Abstract: A portable desk top tray for organizing and arranging desk implements such as a tape dispenser, stapler, calendar and the like, includes a top surface supported above a desk top by at least a front wall. The top surface has several depressions. Each depression is adapted to receive a respective desk implement and is of a size and shape to laterally confine the respective implement against substantial horizontal movement. Several elongated sockets open through the front wall and extend rearwardly therefrom at positions laterally spaced from the depressions. The top surface may also be provided with an upright wall structure shaped to conform to another respective one of the desk implements for receiving the same. One of the sockets may be positioned below and laterally between the upright wall structure.
Abstract: A working table or desk having a grating for vertical storage of material in elongated form, such as rolled blueprints. The table has a vertically directed opening with grating forming rods extending thereacross to form spaces for inserting rolled documents for storage. A container is positioned below the opening on the floor to receive the lower ends of the material. The opening has vertical surfaces having spaced horizontally directed holes therein. Each hole on each surface is in alignment with an opposite hole in an opposite surface to receive the rods forming the grating. One of each pair of oppositely aligned holes is deeper than the other to receive a coil spring. Each rod is inserted into a deeper hole to be in abutment with the spring, the spring being compressed to permit the entry of the rod across the opening and when so compressed the other end of the rod is within the opening and in position to be forced into the opposite hole by the bias of the spring. The spring thus holds each rod in place.

Abstract: A collapsible stool structure adapted for use in fishing and other outdoor activities comprises a support shaft which is received in a base plate on assembly. Disposed on the other end of the support shaft and pivotally attached thereto is a seat structure including two angle members radially extending from the pivot to engage one end of a triangle member which, by way of the bell crank bracket pivotally engages the support shaft. The two angle members furthermore attach to a tackle box or similar equipment storage device and by virtue of their attachment to the seat and the tackle box provide a separating gap equal to both the triangulating member and the base shaft. In this manner the seat structure may be pivoted into a position where the angle members are disposed on either side of the support shaft or may be rotated from that position to engage a transverse pin in corresponding detents formed in the underside thereof.
