  • Patent number: 7707947
Abstract: A table may include a table top, a frame and one or more support members such as legs. Advantageously, the table top may include a generally planar upper surface and a generally planar lower surface. In particular, the lower surface of the table top may be substantially free of any downwardly extending projections such as a lip. Desirably, the table includes a frame and at least a portion of the frame is exposed and visible when the table is being used. In addition, the table may include one or more guard members that are sized and configured to protect portions of the table, such as the corners. Significantly, the guard members may be selectively connected to the table top or the frame, which may allow the guard members to be repaired or replaced.

  • Patent number: 7578507
Abstract: A card table, card table topper and card serving segments are disclosed which facilitate the removal of cards placed on a card table. The card table and table topper include a card server track which, in certain preferred embodiments, includes an elevated surface which lifts a card from the top surface of a card table as the card is drawn towards an inner face of the track. Thereafter, an abrupt declination of an outer face of the track exposes edges of the card thereby facilitating lifting and/or removing the card from the table. Alternate preferred embodiments include a card server comprised of a groove wherein cards drawn across the groove are easily grasped for identification or removal from the table. Card server segments are also disclosed wherein each segment includes a right end, a left end, an inner face, outer face and a maximum height adjacent to the outer face.

  • Patent number: 7536960
Abstract: An apparatus includes a base that has a thermo-resistive top surface and oppositely seated edges that have apertures formed therein. A top casing has an inner perimeter aligned above the base and maintains a fixed elevated spatial relationship therewith. The top casing has holes formed along an outer perimeter thereof, and is formed from non-conductive and transparent material. Elongated pegs have bores formed therethrough and have opposed ends coupled to a top casing bottom surface and a base top surface. The axial bores are aligned with the apertures and the holes for receiving fasteners therethrough. The portable computer is nested on the base and interfitted between the inner perimeter of the top casing such that the portable computer is advantageously restricted from moving. The portable computer is spaced from the user's genitalia such that heat generated from the portable computer is dissipated away from the user's genitalia.
