Abstract: A folding table for storage in an automobile and used in combination with the trunk of the automobile comprises an upper surface configured for holding items as the table is removed from or returned to the trunk, two adjustable, foldable legs for supporting the front of the table, the back resting on the trunk rim, and a ramp for removal of the table from and return of the table to the trunk. In the preferred embodiment, the ramp is a frame having two tracks that engage and guide two wheels fitted to the back of the table, the frame resting on the rim when being used and laying flat on the trunk floor under the table when being stored. In an alternative embodiment, the ramp comprises two tube carried in the sides of the table, a rod slidably carried within each tube but protruding a short distance from the back of the table and having ends that frictionally engage the trunk floor to maintain position of the rods relative to the floor as the table is slid from and to the trunk.

Abstract: A portable console and arm rest apparatus is set forth including a console selectively securable to the housing hump of an automobile. The console has selectively securable thereto a rearwardly extending arm rest formed with forwardly extending "L" shaped legs receivable within "L" shaped recesses within the console wherein the arm rest is formed with a perimeter wall about an arm rest tray wherein the perimeter wall is substantially equal to in height and aligned with the planar rim surrounding the planar support tray surface of the forwardly oriented console. The arm rest extends rearwardly a length substantially equal to the length of an automobile seat support surface to position the arm rest in alignment with a forward surface of the automobile's seat back rest to orient the arm rest relative to an individual positioned within the automobile seats.

Abstract: A lightweight safety tray particularly suitable for use in the passenger compartment of a moving vehicle, and including a generally rectangular support frame of low density, highly resilient polymeric material, which frame has a flat bottom, front, rear and opposing side walls, with a sunken planar shelf in the upper surface portion of the frame which is bounded by upward extensions of the frame walls. The planar shelf has an array of regular shaped cavities in its upper surface which provides a grid of longitudinally and transversely extending ribs. A generally flat plastic corrugated board covers the planar shelf. There is a flexible, resilient plastic outer coating which envelopes the entire outer surfaces of the combined frame and corrugated board, and which holds the board in place, and whereby an upper tray working surface is provided which is bounded on four sides by the upward wall extensions.

Abstract: A work table assembly that is mountable on a vehicle and that is used for supporting a flat panel or the like thereon during work operations on the panel at an installation site, the work table assembly including a frame construction that is mountable on the vehicle and spaced outwardly therefrom, the table member being mounted for pivotal movement on the frame construction and being pivotally movable relative thereto from an upper vertically disposed transport position to a lower horizontal work position, at which work position a panel is received in supporting relation for a work operation thereon.

Abstract: The present invention is directed to a collapsible stroller with a stowable tray. The tray mechanism is associated with the stroller. The tray mechanism includes a tray portion, a swivel mechanism located at one end of the tray portion, and a latching mechanism located at an opposite end of said tray portion. The swivel includes a sleeve which engages a member of the stroller and is adapted to allow the sleeve to rotate about the member. A pin is affixed to the tray portion and is perpendicular to the member of the stroller. The tray portion engages the pin and is adapted to rotate with the pin.

Abstract: An adjustable folding table for vehicles includes a pair of generally planar table halves pivotally secured to a cylindrical L-shaped support member. Lock means are provided for detenting or locking the table halves in an extended position and a pair of beverage holders suitable for receiving beverage containers or the like are pivotally secured to the undersides of the table halves. A second L-shaped support member is pivotally secured to the first L-shaped support member and is itself pivotally attached by a bracket to a convenient surface within the vehicle interior. The two L-shaped support members and their pivotal attachments cooperate to provide for multipositioning of the table within the vehicle interior. The table is configurable to a folded or closed position and may be pivoted to a storage position within the vehicle interior.

Abstract: A portable tray comprising a tray surface supported by two spaced apart, vertical frames each including an upper and a lower, elongated, horizontal section, the upper section having at a rearward end an outwardly extending hanger which fits over the railing of a balcony, a horizontal leveling and stabilizing brace extending between the two frames, the brace having two leg sections which telescope with the rearward ends of the lower horizontal sections of the two frames, and structure for adjusting the length of the telescoping leg sections so that the brace rests against a row of pilaster boards extending downwardly from the railing, thereby supporting the tray surface in a substantially horizontal plane.

Abstract: A storage box for vehicles having a box main body for the storage, a lid body supported by the box main body in such a manner that it can be opened and closed, and an inner lid disposed between the box main body and the lid body. With this arrangement of the storage box, it is possible to open and close the inner lid independently from the lid body. It is also possible to bring the lid body and the inner lid into engagement with each other in such a manner that they are movable relative to each other, so that the lid body and the inner lid can be opened and closed integrally. Thus, an inner lid is provided while eliminating any risk of adversely affecting the fitting of the lid body. The inner lid is also provided with at least one through-hole for receiving a container. A support member is rotatably mounted to the inner lid for supporting the bottom of the container.

Abstract: A vehicle dash mounting device for mounting at least one accessory to a top surface of a vehicle dash includes a housing for mounting to the top surface of the vehicle dash with an upper housing surface and hook and eye fabric fasteners for detachably securing the accessory to the upper housing surface. The housing is also detachably mounted to the dash by hook and eye fabric fasteners. Additionally, for vehicles with a defroster-type vent in the dash, a hook is mounted to the upper housing surface to engage the vent. The housing is generally of a wedge shape, tapering with the downwardly sloping top surface of the dash to position the upper housing surface in a substantially horizontal plane. For accessories with bottom mounted speakers, such as some CB radios, the upper housing surface has an aperture beneath the radio, and the front face also has one or more apertures to allow sound from the speaker to be heard within the vehicle passenger compartment.

Abstract: A vehicle portable-office organizer (10) designed to be detachably mounted to the passenger seat of a vehicle. The organizer (10) consists of a tray (12) sized to accept a tray insert (14) that can be divided into a selectable quantity of smaller trays by dividers selected from a divider set (16). On the front of the tray (12) is attached a cradle (18) that allows a briefcase to be stowed during travel. On the back of the tray (12) there is a seat slip-plate (20) that retains the organizer in place. On the back section of the tray insert (14) is located an extended vertical container (24). This container may be designed with two compartments or a plurality of dividers that allow several forms to be easily stowed and retrieved. A cover/writing table (26) is also included that when placed on top of the tray serves as a cover or as a writing surface. When the table is not in use, it is inserted into a longitudinal slot (12g) for storage below the tray.

Abstract: The apparatus is attachable and detachable to walkers via rotating spring clips attached to the rails or legs of walkers. It is stable, attached at three points, yet variable in height and angle of surface by use of the telescopic brace, rotating clips and sliding brace attached to the tray angle by wing nuts and bolts. It is usable and storable and out of the walker user's way via the rotating attachment clips and telescopic brace. It does not rust not corrode and is cleanable with soap and water. The sliding of the brace horizontally in the angle, the telescopic variable height and tray angle, the angles of bends of the brace ends, and fully rotating attachment clips allow the apparatus to be assembled, attached and detached to multiple designs of walkers. The variable angle of the tray surface provides a writing surface while the apparatus is attached. The tray is countersunk and usable while attached for carrying items. Without the use of tools, the apparatus is assembled, attached or detached to walkers.

Abstract: A convertible cover for an open-top vehicle box such as a trailer or the box of a pick-up truck. The cover is removably secured to the box and has a top wall with at least one opening therein spaced from an edge of the top wall to form a seat section on the top wall intermediate the opening and an adjacent side edge of the top wall. A flat removable panel is secured in close fit on the top wall and overlies at least the opening. The panel is supportable elevated from the top wall to constitute a table top.

Abstract: A pair of support members are arranged for mounting on the floor of a vehicle cargo area and support a cargo box by rollers for movement between forward and rearward positions to provide easy access for loading and unloading the box at the rear of the cargo area. The support members and box have engaging latch portions providing latching notches for the box in forward, rearward and intermediate positions. Front and rear vertical axis rollers are provided on the box and support members, respectively, and have engagement with the other of the box and support members to provide a non-binding lateral stability. Also, longitudinally adjustable abutment means are provided to hold the box in a non-rattling forward latched position.

Abstract: A drink container holder comprises three members: a mounting base having a mounting device for mounting within a vehicle such as an automobile, a holding framework for holding a cup, and an intermediate pivotable framework interposed between the mounting base and the holding framework, the three members being pivotably connected to one another through means of pivotable shaft bearing portions. The mounting device comprises a substantially inverted U-shaped bracket, and the mounting base has dependent bearing portions integrally suspended therefrom. A substantially U-shaped bail member is provided upon the holding framework, and the mounting base, holding framework, and intermediate framework are pivotable with respect to each other about two axes orthogonally arranged with respect to each other such that the three members define in effect gimbal rings for supporting the drink container.

Abstract: The present disclosure describes a portable bench which finds particular application in the automotive field. The bench is comprised of a main body for supporting a pair of opposed drawers in sliding relationship to one another. When the drawers are in a closed position, they are concealed within the main body. A support assembly is removably attached to the front of each of the drawers. In use, the bench is oriented at a right angle to the longitudinal axis of the vehicle. The drawers are slid outward from the main body to permit the support assemblies to engage the respective opposite fenders of the vehicle. Tools, parts and related materials may be rested upon the main body which can be slid from one extremity of the bench to the other. Items placed in the drawers during use of the bench may be temporarily stored therein when the bench is removed from the vehicle and the drawers closed.

Abstract: This invention is a readily attachable and removable portable platform for use in conjunction with a vehicle steering wheel. The platform contains slots located on its edges which facilitate detachable mounting in a variety of positions on steering wheel rims of various diameters and grip thicknesses. One of the slots contains notches for adjusting the position of the platform relative to the steering wheel.

Abstract: A vehicle console is provided and consists of a base unit that will hold drinks, store a removable trash receptacle and contain an additional storage area for various articles. The vehicle console also includes a leveling mechanism and drink holding gripping devices therein.

Abstract: A support surface such as a table 23 has support arms 12, 21 for mounting the support surface on a seat or seats 10, 11 of a motor vehicle, for example for use as a picnic tray or work table.Each support arm 12, 21 has a location portion 14 shaped such that it can be forced into the gap which exists on almost all car seats between the squab portion 10 and the upright portion 11 to be gripped thereby. There is also a foot portion 16 which is shaped to rest on the squab portion of the seat.

Abstract: A portable and collapsible travel tray assembly is provided for mounting in conjunction with a conventional automobile seat positioned to the front of the user of the tray and the seat of the user, particularly a child's car seat. The portable tray assembly comprises a rigid bottom panel member having front, back, and side portions. The bottom panel member is provided with a pair of opposing folding side panels which extend along the side portions of the bottom panel and above the plane of the bottom panel when in the unfolded position. The tray assembly also includes a front folding panel extending between the opposing side panels and along the front portion of the bottom panel and above the plane of said bottom panel. The folding side and front panels permit the tray to be converted from a stowed or collapsed position when the side and front panels are in the folded or stowed position to a position of use when in the unfolded position.

Abstract: A support device for supporting small articles. The device is adapted to be secured to a supporting panel such as the windshield of an automobile. The device is formed of two planar members, one of which is adapted to be secured to a support panel member. The two planar members are interconnected by means of a hinge whereby the second planar member may be rotated about a hinge pin to lie at any desired angle with respect to the first planar member. Thus the first planar member may be secured to a windshield or a similar supporting surface which is disposed at an angle with respect to the vertical, whereby the second member may be rotated to be at a desired orientation, for instance horizontal. The hinge includes a fastner to tightly press the hinge knuckles together to maintain the orientation of the two planar members with respect to each other.

Abstract: A mobile cooking apparatus including a trailer vehicle having an elongated chassis with front and rear end walls, open sides, and a platform supporting one or more elongated cooking units and at least one cover member having foldable cover segments adapted to be moved downward over the chassis in a closed position to confine the cooking units within the chassis and moved upward to an open position in which the cooking units are exposed for cooking operations upon the chassis. The cover members are so constructed that a side cover segment clearly displays indicia, such as advertising material in either its open or closed position. Each cooking unit includes an elongated burner unit which is detachable mounted upon the chassis and which detachably supports a cooker member of any one of various types, such as a deep-fat fryer, boiler, broiler, solid griddle or an open grill.

Abstract: A support device for a work tool such as metal bending brake is disclosed. The device includes a plurality of support guides vertically mounted on a truck rack. A movable tool support mechanism is connected to each of the support guides for movably supporting the tool in either a storage position adjacent the rack or in a generally horizontal work position. Each support mechanism includes a base adapted to hold the tool and is formed of first and second sections pivotably connected to each other, and a stabilizer formed of first and second elongate bars pivotably connected to each other.

Abstract: A pair of panel sections are arranged flat against the surface of the steering wheel, hingedly connected to each other to enable the panels to fold from a flat position to a position overlying each other. A depending side section is hinged to the outer lateral side edge of one of said panel sections to fold with respect thereto between a position overlying the one panel section and a position depending vertically therefrom. A table section is hinged to the lower edge of the depending side section to be foldable between a position overlying said depending side section and a position extending horizontally outwardly therefrom.

Abstract: An apparatus for use with a walker of a type having four vertically disposed legs which are adapted to contact the floor at the bottom thereof. Handles are provided on each side of the walker and first and second horizontal elongated members are disposed below each of the handles. A rigid tray is provided for extending over and above the first and second horizontal elongated members, with each side of the tray having first and second downwardly extending flanges thereon for preventing the tray from falling off of the first and second horizontal elongated members. The tray is not bolted or fastened to the walker itself so that it can be easily and quickly removed from or placed onto the first and second horizontal elongated members.

Abstract: An adjustable table with a bulkhead bracket (20) permanently mounted on the wall or vertical surface of a watercraft, recreational vehicle, or the like. A davit shaped arm (30) slips into the bracket (20) and is axially rotatable, with detents (34) interfacing into notches (24) in the bracket for placement. A top attaching bracket (40) slips over the arm (30) on the horizontal end with detents (34) penetrating a pair of holes (42) to maintain stability and achieve adjustment. A top (50) is permanently secured to the top attaching bracket (40) providing a flat work surface and rotatable 360 degrees from the wall, also tilting 90 degrees horizontally for access.

Abstract: A food and item tray is provided for a walker and a wheelchair and consists of a lightweight basket that has a plurality of mounting clamps for attachment to the walker and the wheelchair and a removable lightweight housing supported in the basket. The housing has a plurality of built-in various sized compartments for holding items such as a dish, cup, silverware and the like which will prevent the items from spilling out therefrom.

Abstract: A portable sunshield for selectively protecting front or rear interior portions of an automobile is provided which is characterized by its ability to be easily used without installing hardware or making other modifications to the automobile. The sunshield is readily adaptable to a variety of automobiles and includes a body formed of a generally rectangular sheet of opaque, pliable material and a pocket which extends widthwise of and is connected to the body. Distributable weighting means are contained in the pocket for providing a weighted pocket which holds the sunshield in place. The distribution of the distributable weighting means may be adjusted within the pocket to vary the sunshield's effective width and for facilitating the folding of the sunshield to provide a compact unit for storage, as under the seat of an automobile.

Abstract: A portable desk and article carrying structure is disclosed primarily for use by manufacturers representatives, sales people, and the like for carrying the various articles and tools needed for displaying, promoting and selling products. The portable desk and article carrying structure allows such articles to be carried into a store and is demountably positionable on a shopping cart of the type commonly used in grocery stores so as to provide a convenient surface for writing and accomplishing various other tasks at locations within the store.

Abstract: A generally rectangular-shaped vehicle desk container is disclosed which has a top lid coupled to the container by hinges. The container has a built-in counter, light, clock and pencil sharpener. A calculator and drawer slidably engage the front end of the container. A number of partitions may be placed inside the container in order to provide individual compartments. Tubular-shaped holders and side compartments are attached to the side of the container. The lid has a spring clip for holding documents and an aperture through it for holding cups or glasses. Various information may be written on the bottom side of the lid if desired. The lid incorporates a smaller lid which may be located directly over the drawer. A plurality of straps can be used to removably secure the container to a car seat or support. The container can be removably secured to a vehicle dashboard if desired. This is accomplished by a base which is pivotably coupled to the desk container.

Abstract: An automotive console overlying a beverage container support includes a pair of upstanding container support well forming walls on a horizontal panel disposed in lateral spaced relation on opposing sides of the position of an emergency brake lever. Brackets, depending from the panel, secure it to the console and an upstanding wall along the forwardly disposed edge of the panel in combination with the well forming walls and a wall connecting ridge, form an upwardly open coin and small article receptacle.

Abstract: A mounting for a mobile phone for usage in a vehicle having spaced-apart, discrete front seats, or so-called "bucket seats" comprising linkage having the lower end thereof secured within the spacing intervening the seats or to a console should such be interposed therein, and with the other, upper end of the linkage secured to an arm; there being a phone support of plate character and being adapted for area adjustability hingedly mounted on the arm for movement between operative, horizontal disposition overlyingly of the aforesaid spacing, or console, as the case may be, and inoperative, vertical disposition laterally of the same.

Abstract: A generally rectangular-shaped container which can be removably mounted on a vehicle dashboard is disclosed that has upper and lower lids. The lower lid fits onto the container and is preferably cemented to the container. The upper lid has tabular extensions at one of its ends which removably engage apertures in the container. The other end of the upper lid is held in place by an elongated angled extension attached to the lower lid. Quick attach-detach surfaces or magnetic surfaces may be used to hold the lids together if desired. The container has a plurality of compartments and drawers for holding objects. Adjustable support arms and a hinged member are used in conjunction with quick attach-detach surfaces in order to mount the container to the vehicle dashboard. After the container is removed from the dashboard, it can be mounted on any substantially flat surface using T-shaped members which are part of the support arms. The container can be used with a hinged upper lid if desired.

Abstract: An elongated generally horizontal support member is provided and a pair of oppositely downwardly and outwardly inclined horizontally spaced apart legs are supported from the opposite ends of the support member with the legs disposed in an upstanding plane containing the support member. The upper ends of the legs and the opposite end portions of the support member include coacting structure mounting the upper ends of the legs from the opposite end portions of the support member for adjustable shifting along the latter while maintaining a predetermined angular relationship between the support member and each of the legs. The coacting structure is also operative to releasably anchor each of the legs in adjusted shifted position relative to the corresponding support member end portion.

Abstract: A removable car seat table which may be temporarily secured to the carpet on the floor of an automobile and particularly to the carpet covering the hump housing the drive train on the floor of an automobile. The table comprises a tray section, the rear portion of which rests in the upper surface of a car seat, the forward portion of the tray section being supported by a vertical support member telescopically and frictionally secured between said tray section and a lower attachment section, said attachment section comprising a horizontal base plate having opposing laterally adjustable sidewings containing inwardly projecting slanted teeth on said sidewings. The sidewings are laterally adjusted to be sandwiched on either side of the hump such that the teeth penetrate the carpet covering the hump preventing upward, horizontal or rotational movement of the attachment means.

Abstract: A cup holder is provided for use in an automobile and is moveable between a closed mode to accommodate compact storage and an open mode wherein the cup holder is mountable in the automobile conveniently relative to a user. The cup holder includes a tray which receives a drinking cup. Oppositely disposed arms are connected to the tray and are moveable to engage the cup for stability.

Abstract: A kitchen table, for use with a motor vehicle camper, which is collapsible as a storage unit to carry cooking utensils. The table comprises a pair of panels which face each other to form a closed unit. The panels are hinged to open outwardly with one edge of the unit engagable with a wall hanger and an extensible leg to support the unit in a horizontal position. When the unit is opened one panel acts as a table and the other panel acts as a backboard carrying the utensils.

Abstract: A folding table provides at one end short legs individually height adjustable to rest on the rear of a motor vehicle and at the other end longer legs individually height-adjustable for ground support, constituting a substantially universal fit to automobiles with trunks, and station wagons, with levelling or sloping as desired; in addition, an adjustable sliding brace which steadies the folding table can coact with the shorter legs to clamp the folding table to vehicles; novel, shaped-spring structure is incorporated in leg-positioning provisions and the adjustable brace and the legs are contained within the case-like configuration when the folding table is folded for transport or storage.

Abstract: The invention comprises a portable, compact and lightweight mechanic's rest, consisting of a chest support platform, itself supported by front and rear leg members, upon which a user can lean or rest while working on an auto engine or other object. The chest support platform is shaped to comfortably fit the user's chest area, and the leg members can swivel and adjust in length to contact any stable structural member on or near the object being worked on.

Abstract: The present invention features a parcel shelf wherein front and rear panels are formed from the same sheet of material and are divided by a channel-like groove formed across the sheet. The groove defines a thin flexible web-like portion which acts a hinge for the panels. A decorative cover is disposed on the upper surface of the panels.

Abstract: A device for use with a shopping cart to provide a portable worktable includes a flat table member supportable by the sides of the cart and positionable to substantially cover the open top of a shopping cart, and a plurality of legs for removably retaining the table member on the cart. The legs includes a pair of rear and a front retaining member depending from the bottom of the table member. The stop members are disposed in spaced relation to one another and are engagable with the sides of the cart to prevent width-wise shifting of the table. The front retaining member includes a channel-shaped opening that receives the upper rail of the front of the cart to prevent length-wise shifting of the table.

Abstract: An automotive table for installation inside a vehicle in compact collapsed form attached to the vehicle floor, and extendable to a position outside the vehicle for use as a work platform or display of merchandise or the like. The table has on the underside two lazy tongs that are at their lower ends, attached to the vehicle floor, typically the floor of the vehicle trunk. From its normal collapsed position inside the vehicle, the table is extended by pulling out the table top while the lazy tongs expand to their fully extended position. A pair of support brackets attached to the base of the table may be manually rotated or raised to a position so that they support the weight of the table and prevent it from collapsing.

Abstract: An improved floor console (10) for automobiles is provided in which is mounted an article-carrying tray (18) slidably moveable between an exposed operative position and a concealed storage position at which the tray (18) is held by operation of a latch assembly (42). The latch assembly (42) is operative to release the tray (18) after certain inward movement beyond the stored position, and a spring (44) operatively disposed between the tray (18) and a housing (22) of the console (10) assists movement of the tray (18) to the operative position.

Abstract: A portable writing desk is the subject of the present invention. The desk is particularly designed for use on a vehicle steering wheel. A flat surface is provided for resting against the steering wheel and a plurality of hooks extend from the surface for engagement over the rim of the wheel. A writing surface is disposed in spaced relationship to the flat surface and is inclined in the same direction as the steering wheel. The writing surface is hinged so as to provide access to an inner cavity which holds papers, writing instruments, etc. The portable writing desk may also be used in the lap of a person or on a flat planar surface and, in this manner, provides for an incline writing surface that is comfortable and convenient.

Abstract: A folding table and carrying support for use in an automobile. The table is carried on the underside of the trunk lid and is supported on guide rollers which fit within channel members secured to the bottom of the trunk lid. The table can be either set up within the trunk by leaving the front guide rollers within the forward channel members or can be completely removed from the vehicle wherein one end of the table is supported on the edge of the trunk and the other end is supported on the foldable legs.

Abstract: Container accessories are configured for removable securement to mobility aids such as walkers, wheelchairs or the like with tubular frame members. Each accessory includes a framework and panel members supported by the framework to define at least one compartment, the framework being self-supporting. Both the framework and panel members are of strong, lightweight material, e.g., aluminum. Resilient spring clips are carried by the framework at locations thereon for supporting the framework from the frame members of the aid by engaging its tubular frame members. For use with a walker, the accessory is preferably multiply compartmented and engages a cross member of the walker. For use with wheelchairs, frame components of the accessory framework are adjustable and reconfigurable to permit engagement of arm support members of the wheelchair, even though of different possible frame configurations, at the front or at the side of the wheelchair.

Abstract: A folding platform for a vehicle (12) comprising a first series of panels (2, 3, 4), and a second series of panels (5, 7, 9) which may be unfolded within the vehicle (12) to form load carrying shelves or a platform which may be used to support a mattress. The first series of panels (2, 3, 4), one of which is affixed to a shaft, rotate as a unit with the shaft. The panels fold to be stored against the rear of a folding seat back (11) in close parallel proximity to the seat back (11), thus occupying only a small volume and not interfering with the use of the rear cargo area or trunk (30) of the vehicle (12). The panels may be disposed in a flexible fabric container (101, 105) with seams between the panels serving as hinges.

Abstract: Beverage holder apparatus pivots on two axes and folds for storage. A bottom plate on which the beverage rests is secured to a support bracket which in turn is secured to a holder ring through which the beverage extends, and the bottom plate, support bracket, and holder ring pivot together. The holder ring is in turn secured to a support ring, which is pinned to and accordingly pivots on a hinge plate which in turn pivots on a fixed plate.

Abstract: An article tray, mountable in the opening of a luggage compartment of an automobile, includes a pair of elongate, longitudinally adjustable leg elements that are pivotally connected proximate the opposing lateral sides of a tray structure. The leg elements adjust lengthwise to extend between opposing peripheral edges of the luggage compartment opening, mounting the tray structure therein.

Abstract: An armrest for a vehicle, integrally includes a drawer having a holder for different types and sizes of beverage containers. The drawer is releasably secured within a compartment, integral with the armrest, and includes a floor having an aperture therethrough for receiving generally cylindrical objects such as cups. U-shaped legs are pivotally mounted under the floor to be positioned below the apertures to support the bottom of a cylindrical container. In the preferred embodiment the compartment further includes a slide with recesses for holding a writing instrument and writing media such that the slide forms a support for writing on the media.
