  • Patent number: 6308642
Abstract: An aircraft pallet assembly structured to support and retain cargo intended to be loaded on and transported by commercial aircraft, wherein the pallet assembly comprises a base and a surrounding peripheral portion normally including a multi-sided configuration. Each side of the base includes a peripheral flange extending at least along a majority of the length thereof, which is disposed and configured for fixed attachment to one of a plurality of track segments, collectively defining a track assembly, and structured to removably secure a load retaining assembly, typically in the form of a retaining cover or net in overlying, covering relation to the cargo, for purposes of maintaining the cargo in an intended position on the base of the pallet assembly.

  • Patent number: 6276285
Abstract: A barrel carrying device for preventing a barrel from rolling around and damaging a vehicle. The barrel carrying device includes a rectangular frame having a pair of longitudinal members and a pair of cross members interconnecting the longitudinal members, and further includes four hook members disposed at the corners of the frame and fastening the cross members to the longitudinal members, and also includes a thin rubber material which is securely attached to the bottom side of one of the cross members to prevent the frame from sliding on a surface such as that found in a vehicle, and further includes a continuous elastic member which loops through the hook members and extends about a barrel placed on the frame to prevent the barrel from rolling about and damaging a vehicle.

  • Patent number: 6216607
Abstract: A reusable pallet for goods having a generally rectangular base with first and second spaced apart sides and an upper surface for supporting the goods. A winch having a rotatable drum is mounted adjacent the first side of the base while a ratchet and pawl are provided with the winch for selectively locking the drum against rotation. A retaining pin is secured to the second or opposite side of the base and in alignment with the winch. An elongated and flexible strap has one end wound around the winch drum while a hook attached to the other end of the strap is selectively attachable to the retaining pin. An actuating rod is connected to the pin for selectively moving the pin between a first position in which the hook engages the retaining pin, and a second position in which the retaining pin is moved out of engagement with the hook thereby releasing the strap.

  • Patent number: 6179137
Abstract: The present invention relates to a stackable carrying rack comprising a support base provided with support legs extending downwardly from the base and vertical support means mounted on the base and provided for supporting and storing a plurality of items placed in the rack. The support base has a configuration allowing to freely dispense items of smaller dimensions stored inside the rack downwardly though a central opening formed in the base without any obstructions or restrictions. The support base has a generally square configuration formed by side support members, and the central opening has a diamond-shaped configuration formed by reinforcement members extending between each adjacent side support member; the diamond-shaped configuration facilitates free dispensing of items through the central opening. Each of the reinforcement members forms a hypotenuse of a right triangle with respect to the adjacent side support members.
