A male latch portion is provided extending upward from each of the at least two wings on each of the second opposing sides of the generally rectangular planar area. The first end portion and the second end portion each includes a generally rectangular planar area with perpendicular base sidewalls extending upwards on three sides and having at least two female latch portions in the rectangular planar area along a fourth side. Each female latch portion mates with an associated one of the male latch portions.

Abstract: Aspects of a recyclable color blend polymer pallet assembly are disclosed including two engagement stringers having a plurality of perpendicular stringers therebetween and engaged, end to end, to each engagement stringer, and one or more inert support surfaces supported thereby. The one or more support surfaces are a plurality of top slats supported and held directly by the frame comprising the stringers and the engagement stringers. The top slats include a structure that is complementary to a feature defined by the frame and that allows the top slats to mate with and be held by the frame. The pallet assembly demands fasteners for assembling the frame and top slats. In another aspect, the stringers and the engagement stringers each comprise one or more target inserts for reinforcing the frame of the pallet assembly.

For example, this document describes pallet stands that make material handling processes more safe and efficient. In some embodiments, a pallet stand described herein includes a structure comprising a top configured for a pallet to rest on and a pedestal arranged to elevate the structure above a floor. The pedestal has an outer size that is less than the width of the top structure and less than the length of the top structure.

The one or more support surfaces are a plurality of top slats supported and held directly by the frame comprising the stringers and the engagement stringers. The top slats include a structure that is complementary to a feature defined by the frame and that allows the top slats to mate with and be held by the frame. The pallet assembly demands fasteners for assembling the frame; however, in at least one aspect, the pallet assembly of the present disclosure also demands fasteners for attaching the top slats to the frame. Abstract: A configurable pallet that can be readily assembled to match the particular load requirements of an application. The pallet includes structural elongated platform members 10; 10? used in different configurations with either leg members 30 or reinforcement structural beams 20. Platform members 10? include conical protuberances 14?; 16? that are receivable within cooperating frustoconical openings 14; 16 or 14a; 16a that keep the structural members in place and perpendicularly to each other, in addition to the use of fastening members. When reinforcement beams 20 are used, the structural integrity of the pallet is enhanced to reduce the stress/relaxation wear thereby preventing or minimizing the possibilities of disengagement. A diaphragm plate 225 is optionally used to enhance the structural stability of beam 20.
