Abstract: Devices and systems can be used to enhance warehouse material handling operations. For example, this document describes pallet stands that make material handling processes more safe and efficient. In some embodiments, a pallet stand described herein includes a structure comprising a top configured for a pallet to rest on and a pedestal arranged to elevate the structure above a floor. The pedestal has an outer size that is less than the width of the top structure and less than the length of the top structure.

Abstract: Aspects of a pallet assembly are disclosed including two engagement stringers having a plurality of perpendicular stringers therebetween and engaged, end to end, to each engagement stringer, and one or more inert support surfaces supported thereby. The one or more support surfaces are a plurality of top slats supported and held directly by the frame comprising the stringers and the engagement stringers. The top slats include a structure that is complementary to a feature defined by the frame and that allows the top slats to mate with and be held by the frame. The pallet assembly demands fasteners for assembling the frame; however, in at least one aspect, the pallet assembly of the present disclosure also demands fasteners for attaching the top slats to the frame. In another aspect, the stringers and the engagement stringers each comprise one or more target inserts for reinforcing the frame of the pallet assembly.

Abstract: A pallet assembly includes a support assembly and a base assembly. The support assembly has a deck molded from a plastic shell material and male fittings that extend away from a lower surface of said deck. The base assembly includes a stringer that defines a plurality of openings which extend through the entirety of the stringer. A female fitting extends completely through each of the openings in the stringer so that the base of each of the female fittings is flush with or extends beyond the bottom surface of said stringer. Each of the male fittings corresponds to a female fitting, attaching said support assembly to said base assembly.

The pallet system captures the corners of a plurality of railing segments, thereby diminishing the weight, footprint, and materials of construction requirements. In some embodiments, a plurality of the pallet systems can be stacked. The diminished size of the pallet system components after removal of the railing segments can be returned to the shipper in a refund exchange arrangement. In some embodiments, the plurality of railing segments is maintained in a fixed relationship using a spacer that is inserted laterally through the plurality of railing segments.

Abstract: A stringer and plank pallet, system and method includes a plurality of planks made of a composite material or a non-wood material and a thickness and holes defined therein comprising a plurality of post cutouts in each of a first and a second end of the plurality of planks. A plurality of stringers made of the composite or non-wood material are configured to receive the plurality of planks via a plurality of post plugs equivalent to the plank thickness and complementary to the plurality of post cutouts. An assembled outside surface relation of the plurality of stringers to the plurality of planks is self-aligning and flush. A plurality of holes are defined in the planks adjacent a first and a second end of the post cutouts to receive a plurality of fasteners driven into the plurality of stringers.

Abstract: The invention relates to a detachable pallet which comprises a plurality of slides and a plurality of cross-members, wherein the slides comprise anchoring elements, both rigid stops and flexible stops, which contribute to attaching the cross-members to the slides, all in cooperation with tongues and grooves provided in the sides of the cross-members, which are inserted into one another creating a solid, robust joint and a complete load surface. The pallet can also have a tie rod joined to the bottom of the slides, securing same and providing greater robustness to the assembly, allowing it to be used on roller lines.

Abstract: A modular pallet formed from a plurality of frame members and a plurality of deck members. The deck members extend between the frame members to define an upper deck surface and optionally a lower deck surface of the pallet. A plurality of spaced-apart channels are formed in at least an upper surface of the frame members to receive the deck members. In some embodiments the pallet may be configured as a stringer pallet and in other embodiments the pallet may be configured as a block pallet. In some embodiments the frame members are unitary stringers. In other embodiments the frame members are modular structures each comprising a block pallet subassembly and a deck support panel. Abstract: A pallet having a top deck (1) and a frame (2) including one or more bottom slats (3) which extend, at a distance below the top deck (1), in which the bottom slat (3) is connected to the top deck (1) via an assembly of a wire-shaped connecting element (4) and a holder (5), (50) which are releasably connected to each other, and in which the connection between the connecting element (4) and the holder (5), (50) is designed to automatically come apart on account of a pulling force in order to prevent damage. The width of the wire-shaped connecting elements (4) is limited, as a result of which the pallet can be designed to have relatively short sides provided with lifting openings (6).

Abstract: A collapsible pallet provides for easy storing and shipping, the collapsible pallet comprising a bottom plate mechanically coupled to a pair of side plates with a pair of offset hinges. The side plates are further mechanically coupled to a pair of upper plates by a pair of upper piano hinges. The upper plates are further mechanically coupled to a pair of inner support plates by a pair of inner support piano hinges. A pair of stopper strips that are mechanically coupled to the bottom plate restricts the movement of the inner support plates. In this manner, a user can rotate the side plates and inner support plates parallel to the upper plates and the lower plate causing a collapsed configuration that provides for easy storage and shipping.
