Patent number: 11664055Abstract: A storage system includes a cassette tape case having a first portion defining a recess extending along a length of the case and a second portion that is rotatably coupled with the first portion. The second portion has two protrusions that extend into an interior of the case at a medial position. The protrusions are aligned with a longitudinal axis of the case. A storage device is insertable within the case, the storage device having a storage device body with a two sides and being generally shaped like a cassette tape. The body defines two circular apertures that extend at least partially through a thickness of the body. When the storage device is inserted within the case, each protrusion extends at least partially into a respective circular aperture. The body defines a recess extending along a length of the body and extending partially through the thickness of the body.Type: GrantFiled: September 2, 2020Date of Patent: May 30, 2023Assignee: WILLIAM EARL LLCInventors: Jesse Mizell, Tanner Cochran

Patent number: 8584603Abstract: A device for receiving banknotes with a frame which provides a banknote opening, and has a banknote bag connected to the frame using a bag opening so that banknotes are introducible through the banknote opening and the bag opening into the banknote bag. The device has a sliding bolt. The frame has an upper frame and a lower frame being separable from each other, and the banknote opening extends through both frames when the upper frame is connected to the lower frame. The frame has a guide for inserting the sliding bolt which is designed so that in the inserted state, the sliding bolt is locked with the frame and completely covers the banknote opening of the two frames.Type: GrantFiled: May 5, 2011Date of Patent: November 19, 2013Inventor: Peter Villiger

Patent number: 7451977Abstract: A plunger moves from a retracted position to an extended position to engage a document which is on a receiving platform to push the document through an opening in the receiving platform and towards a stacking platform to stack the document on the stacking platform. The plunger moves from the extended position back to the retracted position to allow a biasing force which is acting on the stacking platform to press the document which has just been stacked on the stacking platform against the receiving platform.Type: GrantFiled: April 19, 2007Date of Patent: November 18, 2008Assignee: NCR CorporationInventors: Tammer A. Patent number: 7059599Abstract: Bank notes placed in a tray (13) are slid into an enclosure (10), whereupon a lever (15) is operated to drive down a plunger (17) which opens flaps (21,22) in the bottom of the tray to displace the notes into a carrier (12) in a lower part of the enclosure. The carrier (12) has snap-fitted into its top a frame (107) which also has flaps (21A,22A) which deflect downward as the money enters a bag (108) provided by elasticated material which spans the frame (107). Thereafter a cover plate (111) seals the frame (107) which can then be removed from the carrier (12) to be transported e.g. to a bank.Type: GrantFiled: August 28, 2001Date of Patent: June 13, 2006Assignee: Volumatic LimitedInventor: Robert Anthony Wilbert Lewis

Patent number: 6000347Abstract: Bullet resistant apparatus includes a spring biased panel which extends out one end of the briefcase. The briefcase, with the extended panel, is then rotated ninety degrees to define a bullet resistant shield for a user. The apparatus is made of composite bullet resistant materials and utilizes a compression spring for deployment of a panel disposed within the briefcase. The compression spring is disposed in a pair of telescoping sleeves. The sleeves allow the spring to compress and then to extend to about double its compressed length.Type: GrantFiled: May 11, 1998Date of Patent: December 14, 1999Inventor: James R. Madden, Jr.

Patent number: 5372076Abstract: A repository for storing small articles is constructed to resemble a common household object, such as a videotape cassette. The articles are placed in two containers mounted on the base of the repository, and the containers are sealed by a cover which is placed over them. The closed repository can be inserted into a sleeve which holds the base and the cover together. The sleeve has been marked with letters and designs to resemble the sleeve of a standard videotape cassette. The cover has been formed to resemble the top of a standard videotape cassette, but it also has a picture attached to it which depicts the inside of a videotape cassette and which thereby simulates a videotape cassette even more effectively. By simulating a common household object such as a video cassette, the repository is not likely to be discovered by a thief. The base includes apertures like those of a standard videotape cassette.Type: GrantFiled: September 22, 1993Date of Patent: December 13, 1994Assignee: Adams Apple Distributing, L.P.Inventor: Peter Solt
