A document includes a substrate, printed data on a surface of the substrate, and a barrier coating. The barrier coating is disposed between a portion of the printed data and a portion of an adhesive. The portion of the adhesive is disposed between a portion of a protective layer and a portion of the substrate.

Abstract: The invention relates to a combine agricultural machine (1) comprising a planting device (3), in particular a potato planting device, provided with at least one storage container (10), an extraction device associated thereto, a setting plow (7) and an downstream mounted end damming device (4). A loosening tool (2) for preparing a seedbed is arranged upstream of the planting device (3) in a travelling direction and one or several wheels (18) for disintegrating soil and supporting the machine are mounted upstream of said loosening tool (2) in said travelling direction. The invention also relates to a method for mechanically planting seeds comprising a stage for preparing the seedbed, a sowing stage and a final damming stage which are simultaneously carried out by means of tools mounted on the agricultural machine (1).

Abstract: An applicator mechanism is used in combination with a land vehicle and a source of fluid treatment substance to introduce the substance into a turf surface so that the turf surface is treated by the chemical. The applicator mechanism includes a frame mountable to the land vehicle. The frame is movably supported by gauge wheels and gauge rollers above the turf surface such as the frame is capable of being driven across the turf surface by the vehicle. At least one applicator unit is swivelably attached to and depends from the frame. The unit includes a sled slidably engaged in the turf surface and at least one coulter mounted axially rotatably to the sled and having a cutting edge that extends below the sled for engaging and cutting the turf surface. A chemical dispensing device is mounted to the sled rearwardly of the coulter and extends below the sled.

Abstract: A machine for slitting turf or soil and inserting particulate solids in the bottom of the cut slits. This machine consists of a propulsion unit, cutter blades, a material hopper, a material flow control valve, a set of rotary material supply vanes driven by a measurement wheel in contact with the ground, a set of insertion tubes mounted on a gimbal assembly which allows the insertion tubes to free float independent of machine tip and tilt motion. The insertion tubes therefore follow the bottom of the cut slits, dispensing the solid material therein. Also disclosed is a novel insertion tube.

Abstract: The equipment system consists essentially of the undercarriage 101 having supporting wheels, the rotary device with dovetailing prongs 102, the sowing machine 103 and the land roller or clod breaker apparatus 104. The system components may be used in various combinations or individually.
