Abstract: Herein described is a portable sanitation apparatus for pet waste disposal and method for using the same comprising an overall composite structure with a plurality of primary layers with one or more sublayers and an engagement means for attaching the two primary layers together.
Abstract: A false twisting yarn composed of monofilaments containing a polyester component of which main component is polytrimethylene terephthalate, wherein the false twisting yarn is a false twisting yarn which satisfies all of the requirements of (1) a shrinkage ratio by wet heat treatment at 98° C. for 20 minutes is 5% or less, (2) a ratio (TS/WS) of elastic stretch ratio after wet heat treatment at 90° C. for 20 minutes (WS) and elastic stretch ratio after dry heat treatment at 90° C. for 15 minutes (TS) is, 0<TS/WS?1, and (3) a tensile strength is 2.0 cN/dtex or more. By using the false twisting yarn, it is possible to produce a pile cloth having a soft touch and a low shrinkage.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is a composite comprising at least one heat shrinkable adhesive layer stitch-bonded with yarns, which shrink less than the adhesive layer or do not shrink, when the adhesive layer is exposed to heat. The stitch-bonded yarns form loops upstanding from the shrunk adhesive layer and the loops create a textured surface on the composite, and the composite is substantially inelastic after the adhesive layer is shrunk. The composite may further comprise at least one fibrous layer stitch-bonded to the shrinkable adhesive layer, and the fibrous layer is less shrinkable than the adhesive layer or is substantially non-shrinkable.
Abstract: A rug comprising a rug backing and a plurality of bundles of strands. Each of the bundles is tied to the forward face of the rug backing by an individual tying element which has been sewed into the rug backing. Each of the bundles forms two clumps of pile for the rug.
Abstract: A decorative textile having loose thread ends wherein the sewing holding the thread sections together or hold the thread sections to a flat base textile is covered by the loose thread ends. The decorative textile is produced by winding a flat coil form having an open slot with thread such that the open slot is at least partially covered with the thread windings, stitching the thread winding on a sewing machine through the slot, cutting the thread windings on both sides of the coil form thereby exposing the loose thread ends, and removing the decorative textile from the coil form. The decorative textile may be produced with or without the fabric base support. Various designs, defined by the open slots, may be applied to a fabric base. A sewing machine accessory to produce the decorative textiles is disclosed.
