Abstract: A self-supporting rotary rigging and, more specifically, a rigging that has a circular platform adjacent to the deck of the vessel, which makes it possible to control the rotation of the rigging and to install rotary stays and shrouds, which assists in stabilizing the rigging. The rigging is characterized by the existence of a small common boom securely joined to the base platform and to which are fastened the backstay and forestay, all the aforesaid making the rigging very secure and enabling the backstay and forestay to be capable of downward movement. There is a base crosstree, likewise securely connected to the platform, perpendicular to the stays, and to the end thereof are fastened the shrouds, enabling the later to work at a suitable angle. In addition, there is a tunnel across the lower part of the mast, which allows passage from one side of the rigging to the other.

Abstract: The present sailboat sail has extremely high aerodynamic efficiency. The sail has a bifurcated forward edge, the forward ends (17A) of each of which is carried by a footing rope (45) in a track of a vertical stay (22); a fairing (44) is arranged to wrap around the leading edge of a mast (3), and the fairing has a pair of trailing edges (44A), each of which has a footing rope also disposed to be connected to said vertical stays (22); the stays (22) can be separated by a spacer (42) to control the aerodynamic disposition of the trailing edges (44A) of the fairing (44) and the leading edges (17A) of the bifurcated portion of the sail; an enlargement member (46) may be disposed between the inside of the leading edge of the fairing and the outside of the leading edge of the mast further to improve the aerodynamic disposition of the fairing and sail.

Abstract: A walker-sailor watercraft which can be used for either walking or sailing on the surface of a body of water includes separate right and left walker members, each walker member including a foot cavity, a support member, a hollow seat member and a storage member, a sail mounting platform which is fixedly connectable between the support members of the walker members and otherwise storable in the hollow seat member on one of the walker members, a sail structure which is mountable on the sail mounting platform and otherwise storable in the storage members of one of the walker members, and a rudder structure which is mountable on the trailing end of one of the walker members and otherwise storable in the hollow seat member of the other of the walker members.
