Abstract: A method for protecting confidential information in an EV power transfer system includes determining whether there is an abnormality in a storage device in which confidential information for transferring electric power from a charging station to the EV is stored. The method further includes transmitting a message warning a risk of leakage of the confidential information when it is determined that there is the abnormality in the storage device. An apparatus for protecting confidential information in an EV power transfer system includes a processor and a memory storing instructions that cause the processor to perform the method.

Abstract: This invention relates to a safety locking means, particularly Multi functions Safety Lock means for a pressure cooker acting as a pressure indicator cam locking means comprising of a rod (1) as visual pressure indicator and a washer (4) suitably and removably fixed to avoid erroneous opening and closing of the pressure cooker thereby ensuring safe operation by the rod positioning above the lock cover (3) under pressure where restricts opening of the pressure cooker otherwise enables the pressure cooker to be opened when not in pressure. Wherein, a sounding device is mounted in a slide groove of an insertion seat and has a slide block and an elastic element both can slide in the slide groove; thereby, when the inserting and extracting member is moved inwardly of a channel of the insertion seat, it drives the slide block inwardly to compress the elastic element. When the inserting and extracting member is in position, the slide block is abutted against and is released from the inserting and extracting member and is elastically restored to its original position by the elastic element to collide with the inner wall of the slide groove indicating that the inserting and extracting member is surely inserted in position.

The apparatus includes a detector to determine when the compartment door is open and to produce a signal when this event occurs. The package has an electrical conductor of known resistance which is so positioned that any attempt to open the package or to tamper with the contents destroys all or part of the conductor. Abstract: A carton for gift merchandise is formed from a single blank that is cut and folded to be set up into a carton having a double-thickness wall between layers of which a battery powered signal generator is concealed and protected. The plunger assembly includes a first magnetic unit on its outer end arranged in face-to-face contact with a second magnetic unit on the door, when the door is closed. A chime bar extends across the path of movement of the other end of the plunger assembly and a spring yieldably biases the plunger assembly in a direction toward the chime bar.

Abstract: The invention is an improved burglar alarm for doors and windows or other similar openings in an enclosure to be protected against secretive entry. The invention consists of a series or plurality of bell-like devices which are automatically dumped or knocked to the floor when entry is made, thus creating an alarm noise. The alarm is operable on doors or windows that swing or slide, or which open inwardly or outwardly. The alarm is of simple construction and easy to install, consisting of a plurality of bell-like elements, a supporting rod, mounting apparatus for the supporting rod, and a wiper member for certain mounting positions.

Abstract: An audible signaling device for elevator cars of the type having an access opening and a door slideably carried by the elevator car and movable from a closed position to an open position. The audible signaling device comprises a housing mounted to the elevator car door and movable therewith. The housing includes a striker actuated gong which is operated in response to a pivotally mounted lever arm which, in turn, causes the striker to engage the gong when the door is moved to the open position. A magnet is positioned with respect to the open door such that the pivotally mounted lever arm engages the magnet and actuates the gong signaling the opening of the door. In one embodiment of the invention the magnet is located at the main floor entry to the elevator car such that, upon opening of the elevator car door, the gong is actuated to signal that the car is at the main floor.

Abstract: A fire extinguisher cabinet protectively encloses a fire extinguisher of the portable type and provides a transparent movable access panel through which the fire extinguisher may be readily seen. Movement of the access panel actuates an audible alarm to indicate that the cabinet has been opened. The cabinet discourages theft of the fire extinguisher as the same cannot be removed therefrom without opening the access panel and actuating the alarm unless a key controlled lock and actuating arm is moved to inactive position prior to moving the access panel.
